We were 4 couples and did not want do a wine tour because we had specific wineries we wanted to go to and wanted to be on our own schedule. I can't say enough about how dedicated and professional Cesar is! I was planning a Bachelorette Party and contacted him to discuss pricing. I ended up finding someone I thought was less expensive, but literally 20 minutes before I was going to make the call, Cesar called me to follow up and see how my party planning was going. He beat the other guy's price and even included champagne for us to kick off the party! He gave great recommendations to wineries and booked all of our tastings which saved me a huge headache and actually saved us even more money since he was able to negotiate a few deals for our group. Then he provided menus to the local delis, placed our order, and picked it up while we were tasting, so we could move right along to a picnic. Since the delis in the Santa Ynez Valley get slammed at lunch time, he probably saved our group at least an hour! When we arrived at each winery, he was there to point out the highlights of the winery and introduce us to our pourer, before leaving us to enjoy. He would then check in with us and give a 30 minute, and 10 minute update when it was time to move on to our next destination. One of my concerns as the party host, was making sure that the wineries we visited were friendly toward our large group (I'd seen a lot of bad reviews regarding Bachelorette Party treatment). While our group was on the more mellow side (mostly teachers), we were still a group of 8 girls out to have a fun time. I definitely felt that having Cesar as our liaison gave the wineries extra incentive to be nice to us. We had the BEST day wine tasting, thanks to Cesar. My husband and I wanted to go to some wineries during our stay in SB, but were obviously worried about driving - it was so relaxing having Cesar show us around. We went to three gorgeous wineries, he brought us a picnic lunch at our second stop and also provided water and champagne in the car. Cesar was a great driver - very funny and knowledgeable. We were picked up and dropped off where we were staying which was very convenient. We visited 3 wineries all unique so it felt like we really got a tour of the valley. We had champagne and waters in the van which was great. Lunch was yummy! We were all stuffed after eating.The wine was of course amazing. Cesar was great at taking 100000 pictures of our group and we could plug in our phones for music selections. This wine tour was so much fun! My girls took me out for my bachelorette party and we had the best time! We started the tour with champagne with 4 lovely wineries on the list. The lunch was fantastic as they had a wonderful vegetarian option for me. We hooked up an iPhone in the auxiliary cable for a fun day playlist. I guess I could have saved a lot of time exploring great wine tour companies that are reasonably priced by going right here to yelp. I see Cesar got 5 stars with 21 reviews, which does not surprise me. My husband and I are from Long Island in NY and were vacationing with our 2 adult daughters and my daughters boyfriend. Cesar was a great host! He picked us up promptly at our rental house in Montecito. Took us to 3 wineries (all very different). Had a great lunch at the 2nd location overlooking a great view of the mountains. He also took us through the town of Los Olivos and then stopped at a few picturesque spots overlooking some of the vistas of the mountains and valleys in the area. He also stopped into a great little place called Cold Springs Tavern to top off our day. He ended our excursion by taking us through a scenic drive home that even my daughter and boyfriend, who live in Santa Barbara have never seen. He gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and places to see while we were visiting and never made us feel rushed. When we go back we will definitely call Cesar! He picked us up from the train station in Santa Barbara and took us on a scenic ride to Solvang where we had lunch and shopped. We enjoyed Mimosa's on the way. Booked a wine tour with Cesar a couple of weekends ago and it was the best decision ever! We were able to drink and enjoy the wineries without the stress of driving. Cesar is very easy to talk to. The booking process was a breeze, and the price very reasonable. The day of, he picked us up and right away offered a glass of sparkling wine (so yummy!). We visited a total of 3 wineries (Diergerg, Firestone & Foxen). We had a quick stop in Solvang to pick up our lunch (we had picked choices ahead of time), which was super fresh, and delicious. He was friendly, and always available to take our picture. He also gave us info about the wineries and the area we were driving through. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Cesar is THE BEST!! We decided to do a wine tasting for my girl friends 21st birthday. We live in SB but really didn't want to worry about driving. We researched all the local wine tour providers/drivers. We actually almost got convince to go with another company that would have had our small group intermingled with a bunch of random people/groups : / BUT THANK GOODNESS WE FOUND Cesar!!! He quoted us a very reasonable price and explained we would have a private bus and he could take us ANYWHERE! The other tours had set pick up and drop off etc. When Caesar picked us up (at our house) he had the van completely decorated on the interior for 21st birthday and he brought us mimosas to enjoy on the ride up!!! So sweet!! The day consisted of 3 different wineries due to our timing. We met a photographer at one as she offered to take our photos so we did take out time. Amazing pics below!! He got us and set up a beautiful picnic lunch at one of the wineries! And on the way home he offered to stop at Cold Springs Tavern - what an experience! Highly recommend the tri-tip sami after all the lovely wine ;) He was nice enough to pick up additional friends and then drop us all off at Fig Mnt Brew for an evening of continued festivities!! Since we all are visitors to the area he provided awesome recommendations on which wineries to visit. I planned a wine tour with Cesar in October. Cesar was a little bit challenging to coordinate with and wasn't responsive through email but overall was a great guide once we agreed to terms and timing. However he ended up stealing money from me, DO NOT give him full payment upfront. I selected 3 wineries, got the costs, and had Cesar set up the appointments. He did a great job coordinating, was a very safe driver and knew the area very well. He collected full payment prior to the tour, inclusive of his services, lunch, and the winery costs so that he could pay each winery directly. It was a long day and not everyone in the group drank wine at each winery so there were a few wineries where Cesar said he would give our money back since he collected our payment and didn't end up having to pay the winery. Once our tour was over, we agreed on the amount that he would give me back. I left a 25% tip for his service. For the first 2 weeks after the trip, I kept asking for the refund he promised, and he kept telling me he'd send it the next day. Then, when I continued to follow-up, he said that I was too rich (I'm not) to care about the money and should just let him keep it. He has refused to pay me back and has continually insulted me through email. Despite the pleasant experience on our trip, it's not worth the hassle of dealing with him, I would not use his services in the future. read more

My friend and I were long overdue for our birthday wine tasting tour and my friend recommended LB Transportation and Cesar Sanchez. What a great day we had! It was just the two U.S. and Cesar picked us up in a nice, comfy SUV and had lovely champagne for us. He took us to three beautiful wineries. Bridlewood, Lincourt, and Buttonwood. He took care of every detail including a delicious picnic lunch, which he procured for us while we were enjoying our second winery. Due to time constraints, we were not able to take him up on his offer of a scenic tour and a stop at Cold Springs Tavern on the way back, but next time we will not overbook the day, but leave plenty of time to savor the experience. Our California Coastal Cruise, docked in Santa Barbara. For the second year in a row, Cesar picked us up at the dock right on time. Our first stop Solvang, where we loaded up on pastries at Olsen's Danish Village Bakery while Cesar picked up our gourmet picnic lunch. We made our lunch selection during on-line booking. The menu he provided had a wide selection. Again, lunch was superior. It included salad, huge sandwich, dessert and beverage. Each of us gave half the sandwich to the winery staff and ate the other half. We planned our route so we had our lunch at the rustic Koehler Winery. We chose the Koehler, Firestone and Zaca Mesa wineries. During our 3-winery tastings, Cesar was informative, professional and a great conversationalist! The close proximity of the three wineries allowed us to spend some time in Los Olivos on the way back to the ship. We visited a total of 4 places, three of which were tasting rooms (a request by the bride) and Cesar chose the fourth place (which was winery) and it was perfect! So I booked a wine tour for my friends bachelorette party a couple weeks ago, and had originally booked for 4 people. Well one by one the other girls ended up canceling and it ended up just being my friend and I. I fully expected Cesar to cancel since in my contract I had agreed to four people for a certain price. But he was wonderful and was so understanding! He told me and I quote "As long as the bride has fun, that's all that matters!" But on top of me having to cancel a girl on him twice, we were late! We came from Orange County on a Friday morning and traffic was awful! But again, Cesar was so understanding! So we did the tour just the two of us and Cesar brought champagne for us and gave us his full attention as if we were a whole group of people. He was very nice and took us to some great wineries!
