Finally became a member here because I just love this place! Karl is absolutely awesome and if you get to be on the receiving side of his service you won't be disappointed!! They have an incredible selection of wines, my favorite are the Sauvignon Blanc's from both last years harvest and a few years back! The Venu is stunning and you have just enough space between you and the next group, fun activities include corn hole, two large bachi ball sets and lots of livestock to view! So grateful to be so close to this amazing spot!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful outdoor setting for their wine tasting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have multiple seating areas, some of which are like small cabanas (albeit not entirely separate from each other) though it feels intimate[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], with a gorgeous view of their vineyard. Friendly staff, nice wines - with a small selection of food/snack choices.

    Me in the vineyard booth.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful location, good service but the wine was expensive for the quality.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Paid $35 for a tasting flat.

My visit to Old Creek Ranch Winery was my first time at a winery and my first time doing wine tasting. The experience was nothing short of enjoyable and relaxing, and somewhere I would love to visit again (if only it were closer!) [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great spot for a date night or for groups of friends to share a bottle or two right next to the vineyards.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The property was beautiful this time of year and they even had goats (as pictured) and chickens near the front of the ranch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only suggestion regarding the wine drinking would be to skip out on the wine tasting if you already have an idea of what bottles you enjoy, especially if you are on a budget since the tasting serving sizes are very small!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolutely stunning winery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Hubby and I reserved a two seat trellis.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wine flights were great, we brought some charcuterie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole property is so romantic, relaxing and very dog friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It felt like we were on vacation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend visiting!

Wonderful winery! I have been to this place for a few times, every time I had a memorable experience. The white wine is perfect for summer days, the red wine is perfect for winter time. Service is phenomenal, they keep checking on each table to make sure you have everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The winery and tasting area is just gorgeous and relaxing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a beautiful winery![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is pretty sprawling with several seating areas to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat overlooking the vineyards in a prime seating area, despite not having a reservation. They have a wine membership program, like so many of these places do nowadays, which made our tastings discounted from $30 to $6 a piece. None of the wine really stood out to me except for the El Camino - a red blend with syrah and grenache. The Albariño was also pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are dog friendly and offer small bites like chips and popcorn.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Normally when I go wine tasting, there's some wines that I don't like - I loved EVERYTHING on their wine flight! So good, such a nice transition to the next wine also. Smart plays. The service was quick and frequent which was appreciated. The land and sitting area - omg, BEAUTIFUL! I love how they strategically placed all the tables under shade or trees. No matter where you sat, you were comfortable. Just enough space to keep a conversation with your group and stay out the way of the others. The ONLY con - is there was no charcuterie board with how nice the establishment was I just knew there would be some good board selections. The snack boxes we ordered were good but a board would've set it over the top! Other than that - LOVED IT! **UPDATE** outside food is allowed, bring your own boards if interested as Ventura requires them to have a kitchen!

I've been to this winery a few times and it's become my favorite! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very secluded and the area around is stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is so much space and everytime I've been there it's not that crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have great wine and a relaxing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wanted to give a special thanks to the staff (I think their names were Carl and Henry) for hosting my sister's engagement this past weekend. They went above and beyond to make sure she was surprised and made sure our group of 20+ people had everything we needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have great event spaces and since they don't serve food you can bring in your own meals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was such a great day - thank you!

I feel I'm in paradise whenever we come! Nestled in the canyon among the vineyards, oaks and other trees Lots of beautiful seating areas among trees and under vines. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. They have water stations. You can do tasting flights, glasses or bottles. You pay as you go. You can reserve online for 2-3.5hr slots for bigger groups and the others are walk ins. Service is so friendly, there is plenty of parking. It's a perfect place to come sit and relax and enjoy the weather and wine. They have goats! They don't sell food. So bring your own! Check the website for all of their options for reservations and any other questions. I personally don't think the membership is worth it unless you are planning to take bottles home. It's only 10% discount on bottles and tastings. 50% off bottles to take home. They don't offer discount on reservations or anything else. And make sure to sign up for membership before coming otherwise you cannot get discounts.

Their website recommends a reservation but outside of the warmer months I don't think it s necessary. We came on a weekend in December and it was fairly quiet, we paid for a reservation but it wasn't needed. We had a great time and ended purchasing a membership. We brought our own snacks and enjoyed the day with our wine.

This little winery was so cute! Came here at 4pm on a February Saturday & it was bumping. We didn't make a reservation since it was only an hour before they closed and we were able to get a seat right away. I would probably recommend making one, if you wanted to come during the middle of the day on the weekend and especially if you had a party larger than 4. They have waiters that come to your table to serve you. Since they were busy, it did take a little longer to get a drink since they only had 2 waiters who could take orders on the entire property. They had a food vender who was making fire stone pizzas but unfortunately they were all sold out by time we came. They didn't sell any other food on site which was a bummer. My friend got the flight of 6 wines for $30 and I got a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for $15. The flight was 2 whites and 4 reds so if you like reds then the flight is the best option to go with. The sauvignon blanc was good so I ended up getting a bottle for $35. Overall the winery was a fun and cozy vibe so definitely would come back.

Rita is so knowledgeable about the tasting notes and origins of all their wines. She always makes us feel at home while we're enjoying glorious wine selections out on the patio. She has a list of tastes and she'll add in a pour or two when she has something special off the list. They offer an accessible wine tasting experience that's enjoyable for both wine enthusiasts and a first time wine tasting encounter. Majestic Oak features Rhône varietals such as Syrah, Grenache and a lesser known Cinsault. We are members of their wine club because of the quality of their wines and the value. The rich reds that we selected were sourced from local Ojai vineyards as well as the best of the Santa Barbara County growing regions. They also offer beautiful white wine varieties that call for a summer picnic or garden party. We loved the Bruce's Rose that celebrates their mascot, Bruce. Highly recommend for the quality of their wines and for the wine tasting experience.

If you know me, then you already know... this is my happy place…read more I don't even know where to begin because this place has become so much more than a tasting room to me. Majestic Oak is my happy place. Seriously. The second I walk downstairs, I instantly relax. I don't know what it is... maybe it's the red umbrellas, the beautiful greenery, the cozy little patio, or just the overall atmosphere. I close my eyes for a second, take a deep breath, and it honestly feels like I've escaped into my own little world. I come here about once a month, and there's a reason I became a wine club member. Yes, the location is absolutely beautiful, but let's talk about the wine... every. single. one. has been amazing. I'm usually more of a red wine girl, but even their whites have surprised me. They're crisp, refreshing, and just plain delicious. I honestly haven't had a wine here that I didn't love. But what really keeps me coming back is the people. Rita deserves the biggest shout-out. It's not just that she takes amazing care of us every time we visit. It's her personality. Her knowledge. Her passion for the wines. She makes you feel like you've been friends forever, and somehow every visit feels even more special because she's there. She has this way of making everyone feel welcome, and that kind of hospitality is something you can't teach. For me, Majestic Oak isn't just somewhere to drink wine. It's where I go to slow down, breathe, laugh, and enjoy life for a little while. It has become my home away from home, and I honestly can't imagine a month going by without stopping in. If you're anywhere near Ojai, do yourself a favor and visit. Come for the wine... stay because you'll probably fall in love with everything else too. One last thing... we stopped by today, as usual, and Kristy took such incredible care of us! She was so welcoming, attentive, and made our visit just as memorable. It reminded me that the amazing service here isn't just one person; it's the culture. Every visit leaves us feeling like family, and that's something truly special. (Oh... and if you see Bruce, make sure you say hi! He's the sweetest little furball and just might steal your heart before your first sip of wine. ) Thank you, Majestic Oak, for creating a place that truly feels... Majestic.

Great local artwork all around the tasting room and a fun painted upright piano. Our tasting host was very friendly and provided short tid bits of information of each wine. I enjoyed my first Grüner Veltliner white wine, 2024 Grunay (a hint of sweetness yet still crisp to the tongue and a light body). I also enjoyed their Tempranillo red wine, 2023 Taransay (well balanced medium body, slightly on the drier side but not too much, and had some nice tannins), this is the full glass I ordered after the tasting. I was not a fan of the 2021 Soay (Red Blend of 70% Granache, 15% Petit Verdot and 15% Petit Syrah) - I really wanted to like it as I typically like this blend, however there was a strange aftertaste that reminded me of water that was rinsed in dried rice. From 4PM - 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a local musician. Today was a singer-songwriter who played both acoustic and electric guitar and was accompanied by a lovely bass guitar player. They performed a few lighter versions of rock music and a handful of originals. Overall, great value and good music.
