Upon arrival, I was told, by the nurse who began my appointment, that these services are no longer offered. This information and the whole nurse interaction was delivered in a rude, dismissive tone towards me. When I questioned the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was actually provided, the staff response made it clear this practice is struggling with medical burnout and workload issues. This discrepancy constitutes misleading advertising and induced me to schedule a visit under false assumptions. I informed the nurse and front desk that I was not going to waste my time or a copay under those circumstances, thanked them, and walked out. More broadly, what is concerning is a clear pattern in how patient distress and criticism are handled. In public responses to negative reviews, the practice repeatedly invokes HIPAA, policy, credentials, and the "inappropriateness" of public feedback--not to acknowledge harm, but to deflect it and subtly shift blame onto patients. While HIPAA limits specifics for the practice of medicine, it does not prevent basic empathy or accountability from providers. The choice not to offer either reinforces an unequal power dynamic where patients are framed as confused or inappropriate for speaking up. A practice that markets itself as compassionate, functional, and whole-person oriented should not respond to patient concerns by hiding behind policy or authority. You definately won't see a dentist who has all messed teeth, right? You know where I am going... But I was already there so I showed her my Keloid scar & asked for a steriod shot to calm my scar down. She gave me a shot and also suggested a scar cream. I asked her "my other dermatology doctor told me there is no cream that can get rid of my scar." Her respond was "I disagree!". So she gve me a perscribtion & said this compound pharmacy won't charge me if I don't want it or if my insurance won't cover it. Well, all I can say that compound pharmacy charged my yearly spending account $50 then sent me the cream I didn't even authorize it. I returned the cream & they say they will reimburse it but never got the money back. When I called them, they said they refunded but my perscribtion company couldn't find the record. So, I don't know who to ask $50 back. Why is it soooo hard to find a good dermatologist & dentist in Irving????

What troubled me most was not the financial issue itself, but the manner in which it was handled. There was no attempt to offer a solution or treat me with the courtesy I had consistently extended to this office. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. I had plans but was not able to keep them as they were because the appt took so long. I never got the chance to go to the third appt which I made two months prior and had planned right before a vacation. They sent a text the day before asking if it was ok to move my appt to a new tine. I declined because again I had plans for that day. They then sent multiple confusing texts asking me to change my appt time which I didn't understand when they originally asked and I declined. They finally called and confirmed my original appt. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I will never go back and I encourage you to not waste your time or money with this establishment either. Value yourself, your time and your money!

Dr. A. Black is one of the rarest types of doctors now. They all are busy and have many patients. Some listen for a minute, prescribe new medication and give you next appointment in few weeks /months. Other doctors and Dr. A.Black is one of them, listen to you, ask questions, check the list of all your medications, ask the reason for them. She looks in depth to find a reason of patient's condition. A month ago I called doctor's office to plea for a quick appointment due to suddenly developed skin condition no other doctor could understand. It happened just a week before my out of country trip. If Dr. Black refused to take me due to busy schedule or did not pay serious attention to my condition, I would be forced not only to stay home loosing all money paid for vacation but in horrible pain and sleepless nights. But Dr. Black used her lunch time and checked all possibilities of drug interactions, my complicated medical history, etc. She was like a scientist trying different approaches to an unusual case. Finally, she found a medication for me, and I got it by mail next day. It helped a lot. Dr. Black even told to keep her informed up to the day of my trip. Some patients complain about long wait time in sitting area. If they knew that Dr. Black is rushed to take one of the patients like me, they would understand and be happy not to have a situation like mine. read more

She is spends time explaining all the options and gives her suggestions based on your goals, lifestyle and is always very honest about what she believes will look best for your particular face shape. If she doesn't think a particular procedure is appropriate, she lets you know! I admire her honesty and the fact her practice is not based 'selling' but on improving women's self-image. She is an truly an expert at what she does. She has a great eye and a skilled touch, and I never look 'overdone', just fresh, younger and glowing. This place is outstanding. I was not bombarded with a lot of paperwork, I was seen quickly and I found Brooke to be simply amazing. She listened, observed and gave me advice about my issues that solved my problem. They found ways to keep my costs reasonable and I walked away feeling like they really cared. There were things that I never thought could be "fixed" but Brooke took the time to share - and it wasn't the reason for my visit. I really can't say enough good things about this place. However, once I was there, the doctor examined me, sold me a moisturizing cream, and then they tried to charge me more than what was originally quoted. In the end, I paid $125.00 for the consultation and $24.00 for the cream -- a total of $149.00. On top of that, I was prescribed the wrong medication -- something meant for bronchial issues -- when all I had was a simple skin infection with itching and pimples on my back. The doctor also incorrectly diagnosed me with a hemangioma (a benign tumor made up of blood vessels), which was completely false. I went to my primary care doctor, who confirmed it was just a skin infection and prescribed an antibiotic that cleared it up in three days. To make things worse, I later received another bill for $124.99, even though I had already paid everything. I do not recommend this place. I found the experience dishonest and unprofessional.
