The location is a little challenging to find your first time so plan to leave a little early! Once you get to building 6 from upper level parking, you would just go inside, turn right and it's the first door on the right! Clean facilities, has a warm massage bed and can adjust the temp, quality air purifiers, and has always worn a mask with me since I'm high risk! I'll keep it simple and to the point. Dan is amazing! First off, he's super kind, funny and just a really nice guy! As far as the massage goes... I waited to give a review until I had had at least two just in case the first one was just an amazing fluke however he's just really great at what he does. I've searched for someone who knows how to give a deep tissue the proper way and Dan definitely does. If you're looking for someone who knows how to give deep pressure but keep it moving so it's not painful but extremely relieving he's definitely your guy! As a sort of thin woman I feel as though therapist sometimes go lighter because they think I can't handle it, however I have extreme deep-rooted pain in my back and I feel like he works with you to make sure pressure is OK but still getting to the root of the pain. Out of the 100+ massages I've had in my life, I have seriously only had a handful of massages that significantly and permanently reduced pain and inflammation of sports-related, soft-tissue injuries, and Dan's was definitely one of those. I thought I'd be looking at surgery for my wrist, but after he worked me, that went completely out the window, which I'm so grateful for. And his technique on other knots in my back and shoulders is definitely expert-level. There wasn't a moment where there was too much pain or spots that got too sharp, but I could also tell he released so many knots. Huge benefit that he uses his hands and his fingers instead of his elbow too, because he can actually feel and pinpoint the problem areas instead of digging in blind. I'm an athlete and appreciate how they can hone in on my tight muscles and trouble areas; it's like they've got x-ray vision and can see just where the pain is. I've been going to Las Colinas Therapeutic Massage/Irving Chiro & Wellness since 2009 and I've never felt better. I see Dr. Scott Kolling who gives very effective adjustments. I've heard the same good feedback for Dr. Spencer Newton. The massage therapists are also phenomenal. There are several to choose from - Dan, Carrie, Kristie, Aimee, etc. - and I've never had a bad massage at ICW. Each therapist has their own unique style and technique. They will focus on any trouble area, i.e. gluts, neck, feet, back, or provide a comprehensive full-body massage. I've been able to reduce pain in my neck, shoulders, back, knees, and hips. I rarely ever get headaches any more, and when I do, they go away after an adjustment and massage. Overall, my body and stress levels are so much better with regular chiro adjustments and massage. I've been able to reduce the frequency of my visits due to overall improvement and am now just going for maintenance. The services are very competitively priced for cash patients and they accept several insurances, too. More perks - their office staff is very friendly, scheduling is easy, the office is conveniently located and very tastefully decorated. Most of the massage rooms feel more like a high-end spa than a chiro office. I've made several referrals over the years and wanted to write this review in the event anyone is looking for good care like I was for several years. read more
