It's ok -- 3 out of 5. We decided to try it out since the ratings are high. Service is great. However, the food is ok. Nothing's special. The burrito is not that good, seems like it's not the right cheese. The short ribs were actually good but I was not able to eat the rice since it's was covered by sauce underneath that made it SO much sweet -- can't eat it. The salad was so dry. Love to support local business. Met the owner son today at the taco truck. I have not been disappointed with any of the food. I have ordered here. This is one of our staple dinners after our Taekwondo class. It's on our way home, so it's very convenient. But that's not why we come here. The food is just really good!!! The truck is next to the convenience store and you can pull into the convenience store parking stall. You place your order at the window and there is an awning just in case it is raining. They will give you a little beeper to let you know when your food is ready. So when it's raining we'll usually put in our order and wait in the car. My son always gets the chicken quesadilla, I get the street tacos (one with chicken and one with beef), and my husband gets the Birria Ramen combo. The combo has a Ramen bowl, 2 birria tacos, and a Horchata drink. The horchata is a rice milk drink that tastes like it has nutmeg or cinnamon in it. It's sweet and refreshing . I LOVE it! I keep telling my husband to get me my own, but he always gets only one to share. We love supporting small businesses like this, especially when they work so hard and do a wonderful job. I love birria tacos in California. And birria ramen? Yes please. It was a chilly evening and... I was craving birria. We frequently pass this truck since we love nearby so this was the perfect evening to go try it. You pull up to the convenience store parking lot, park in front (there's not parking on the truck side), and then go order. They have buzzers if it's cold out so you can wait in your car no problem. The birria tacos here (both regular or with quesa) are stuffed to the brim with meat. However, we felt they were not crispy enough and quite easily soggy. Consomme for birria ramen was also not beefy enough and slightly too tart and loose / lacking body. Tacos were a tad too toasted for soft tacos as well. Did it satisfy my deep birria craving? Wow, Better than I remembered!! Came here for some quick lunch takeaway and ordered a birria quesadilla and chicken quesadilla. Both were super good but the birria definitely stood out, today! Okay, if I had known there was a food truck in Kirkland with Hawaiian/Asian food AND Mexican food, many arguments between my husband and I on what we're eating could have been avoided HAHA! We have found the answer to a happier marriage (for real, thank you). I got spam musubi and a kalua pig + teri chicken plate. First of all, they don't play with the rice to meat combo. Most plate lunch places give you one scoop of rice to all the meat - not Las Garnachas. Their meat to rice ratio is 100% on point aka there's A LOT of rice. I would like more cabbage with the kalua pig and cabbage but overall the flavor is good. Teri chicken sauce is really good, highly recommend. Mac salad was pretty good too! Spam musubi good (and cheap). Yes, I just said "good" like 10x but overall, highly impressed. Clearly you now know what food I get here... my husband wasn't with me but he'll be happy with the Mexican food. Wish I knew sooner, check them out! read more

Stopped in on a whim after grocery shopping with mom; she'd never had birria and I had never had conchinita pibil. We ordered 4 tacos, 1 conchinita, 2 birria and 1 lengua. Birria was decent but a little dry, next time I'll ask for a side of the braising liquid. Lengua flavor was great but be ready for the texture if you order it. Y'all, the conchinita was amazing. So much so that I'll be ordering a bunch to take back across the mountains when I leave. Chips and salsa were delicious. Worth the wait for sure! read more

This truck hands down has the BEST carne asada burrito on the East side of Seattle. To really level up the carne burrito you can ask to have some sidewinder fries inside and it becomes the best Cali burrito maybe in all of Seattle.
