We were a table of 6 adults and 4 children. It was the first time that we try out this restaurant and we were all pleasantly surprised! We heard good things from other people, but didn't expect the food to be that good and authentic. Ambiance is cute, you definitely get a feel of a Mexican resto/vibe when you walk in - wish it was bigger and with more parking space. I highly recommend the fajita plate that comes with chicken, meat, and shrimps (good for 2-3 depending on how hungry you are). The kids meals came out right away, which was great. We had a child accidentally break a plate and they were cool about it. If you like Mexican food, you should give this place a try!

It's just ok. I had asked for no onions sub mushrooms. Onions were in the dish and very little mushrooms. A lot of sauce. It was tasty but think it's over priced. Service was good.

I give this place 10 stars not 5. Delish food every time we've gone (3x's). Friendly wait staff. The red salsa free with the starter chips is A+ 10 out of 10. Parking is limited but the food makes it all worth it.

Tucked away in a corner close to two awkwardly placed stoplights is a little Mexican gem with tight parking on an incline. But all of that doesn't take away from what Plaza Garcia has to offer. If you are looking for superior customer service and great food at a reasonable (inflation-adjusted) price, this is it. On a hot summer day after a trip to the Juanita Friday market, we decided to grab some dinner even though it felt early bird(ish). The corn on the cob and the Salvadorian Horchata that we consumed at the market generated a kind of half empty half full hunger. We had driven by Plaza Garcia enough times to not ignore the 100% reopening and the packed tables. We caved! A decision that proved right I would say. We were seated right away and offered the traditional salsa and tortilla chips. We asked for hot salsa and the waitstaff got us 2 (a tomatillo and a chili). Very tasty and what can you say when you are offered seconds given that we ordered the Molcajete which does take time to make. We also got the vegetarian burrito. We were quite pleased with the Molcajete served with flour tortillas even though we could not figure out where the Nopales were hiding. Some of the best grilled meats and seafood. The rice and beans did not stand out as much...sort of like "La Preferida" if you know what I mean. The vegetarian burrito was decent though it lacked sauce on the bottom which would have really enhanced the flavor. Overall, a great experience and am sure it wasn't the hunger writing this review :-) If you are looking to support small businesses, Plaza Garcia deserves your best shot.

This place is GREAT! Great food, cute space and attentive, friendly service. My partner and I came in tonight on a Wednesday night at around 7:30 and it was still busy when we left at 8:15! We ordered the Deluxe Camaron Enchilada and the Carnitas de Puerco. The food was flavorful with good quality ingredients -- even the rice was so good! The portions are generous and my partner cleaned his plate! Here's a pro tip: ASK FOR HOT SAUCE. Oh my goodness. They make it in house and if they bottled it I'd buy it! It is that good!! The food was already great but a dab of the tomatillo sauce even brought it to next level! I was in flavor heaven. We are definitely coming back! And next time I'm ordering a margarita!!

The chicken was cooked perfectly. The veggies were seasoned to perfection. So many places over cook their veggies but not here. They still retained a little crunch and bright colors. Peach Margarita sealed the deal. Best ever

The food is quite good. I wouldn't call it authentically Mexican, but rather a contemporary, slightly elevated interpretation of Mexican cuisine. Personally, I would have loved a bit more of those bold, authentic Mexican flavors to come through, but overall, the dishes were enjoyable and beautifully presented. The staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. I did change my mind shortly after being seated and asked to move from indoors to the patio. Our hostess, Aguilera, gave me a quick look that said, "Really? Already?" but was very gracious and accommodating. In the end, moving outside was definitely the right call! The wooden chairs indoors look beautiful but become a little uncomfortable after sitting for a while. The carved seating cocoons along the walls are visually striking and add a lot of character, although they're probably better for admiring than for a long, leisurely dinner. The outdoor seating, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The biggest opportunity for improvement is the acoustics. Conversations really travel and bounce around the interior, which naturally leads everyone to speak louder just to hear each other, creating a bit of a vicious cycle. During a busy dinner service, it can get quite noisy. That said, I'd absolutely come back and happily bring friends or visitors for a memorable dinner. My preference would definitely be a nice-weather evening with outdoor seating, where you can really enjoy the view and atmosphere. Pro tip: Ask for a Carajillo! It's a Mexican espresso cocktail that can be surprisingly hard to find done well. They have one here, and it was delicious, beautifully presented, and one of the highlights of the evening.

We had to repeatedly flag down other servers and bussers just to get basic things like water refills, blankets, and a dessert menu. Our server was a young, slim Indian gentleman. We didn't catch his name because it wasn't listed on the receipt, but he walked past our table multiple times without ever checking on us. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out blue rare. As you can see in the photo, it was extremely undercooked. Since I'm pregnant, I wasn't willing to take the risk of eating it, so I ended up leaving most of it. Overall, the location and the view were absolutely beautiful, but the service and food were both disappointing. No one at our table enjoyed their meal. The tacos were okay, but nothing memorable. Based on our experience, I don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant.

The decor is sophisticated, the floor plan is well-designed, the space is bright and clean, and even the tableware is thoughtfully selected. If I didn't have plans later that day, I could have easily stayed here all afternoon. Service: From seating, ordering, and table service, to being checked on during the meal and handling the bill--the entire experience was excellent. Food: Since I had already eaten lunch and was waiting for someone, I only ordered a salad and a new menu item. Salad: The ingredients were generous and fresh. The texture and size of the shrimp were impressive. The pairing of Prosciutto with melon was a classic, perfectly balanced without being overly rich. Lemon Ginger (I believe that's the name): A refreshing drink. It had just the right amount of lemon--definitely worth a recommendation. Why the name "Parma"? The name is protected because production is strictly limited to the Parma region in Italy. To be an authentic Prosciutto di Parma, the ham must be made within specific hills south of the Via Emilia at an altitude under 900 meters. The unique microclimate here--dry, mild, and scented by the Apennine mountains--is the secret to its famous flavor. This is quite similar to traditional Chinese cured meat, sharing much of the same craftsmanship. In a world overrun by mass-produced pre-made food, almost anything can be industrialized, yet time remains the only ingredient that cannot be replaced. The dessert is also amazing by the way

I've had their street tacos, habanero enchiladas, California burrito... everything is great. The burrito is huge and full of fries, beans and meat. The meat is super tender and flavorful. The enchiladas have a super spicy, luxurious sauce that I couldn't get enough of. Their guacamole appetizer is also awesome. The inside has like three zones - a darker, moodier corner with booths... then high tables near the bar that are airy, with a ton of light... and then an outdoor area with umbrellas to keep the sun from beating on you too bad. They're all a great vibe -- just different. This is a beautiful, modern, clean restaurant that fits perfectly into Bellevue's scene -- but it almost has too much 'corporate polish,' like a Microsoft high-rise tower. My only mildest of criticisms is that this polish kind of obfuscates how soulful eating Mexican food can be.

The margaritas were delicious. Generous size for the price point as well. Their salsa was spicier than I expected.
