After seeing all the positive reviews I was excited to try this spot and let me just say I wasn't super impressed. It wasn't bad by any means but it was really just okay, a bit dry and lacking of flavor. However, the burrito portions are HUGE so would say quantity is not an issue here! read more

Wow. This is our second time visiting this truck and it again has only amazed us. The food was cheap and came out quick, and the portions are huge! The burrito is already half eaten in the photos and is still bigger than my hand! The chicken on the tacos is amazing with no fatty pieces and the Horchata is only $3 and delicious! I am extremely sad that I did not take a picture of my plate! Had 4 loaded carne asada tacos! It was seasoned well, tender with juices, and not salty like some places. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. The service was amazing. I didn't have hand sanitizer and the owners gave me a glove to eat the tacos. I had high hoped for this place, but unfortunately, the product fell short. I'll start by saying the portion was seriously generous. When I was handed my burrito, I knew it was larger than most and more than I could finish in a single meal. Where the wheels came off the cart are in two places. The meat didn't impress me, it wasn't that it was bad, but it certainly wasn't great. Also, the burrito appeared to have black beans and I didn't expect that, photos showed refried bean and although, I'm not opposed to whole beans, I prefer pinto to black. It only took a couple bites for me to realize this wasn't for me. Really nice people. But I have had much better tasting burritos and again, as someone who takes taco tours in Mexico and Los Angeles, I know what happens when people honor authentic family recipes. Maybe one day, someone will be true authentic Mexican flavor to Seattle. read more

Been here a couple of times to have carne asada tacos I always ordered it with guacamole they usually would prepare the tacos and have the guac separately in a small cup. That way you can apply as you wish. But today was different instead of the cup they completely smothered my four tacos in guac it was quite messy and ruined my meal. When there's a constant line of people waiting in the rain for a food truck, I'd call that a promising sign! Bandido's is tucked away in a quiet parking lot on a side road, so it's super easy to miss if you're not seeking it out. It's also just plain white, making it look like any ordinary truck. All this considered, I assume they must rely on word of mouth or social media to attract customers. Three of us came for a weekday lunch around 12:30P and parked in the lot near the truck. One employee took all the orders and kindly called people up to get their food once ready. One cook in the back prepared all the food. The two of them appeared to have a good system going. I got three tacos a la carte ($3.00 each), composed of warm tortillas, meat of choice and diced onion & cilantro. + LENGUA (tongue): Wow! The tongue is terrific. It was super lean, tender and had a natural beefy flavor. That being said, it could have used some oomph seasoning-wise (or a little salt), so I poured on some salsa. I don't order tongue that often, but when I do, I'll be comparing it to this one. + CARNE ASADA (steak): This was delicious too. The chopped beef had a light grilled taste and the pieces were not too fatty. I topped it with a little mild green salsa and red spicy salsa, but these really weren't necessary. + AL PASTOR (spicy pork): I wouldn't consider this spicy, but the meat was seasoned well and marinated, resulting in its bright orange color. The pork was pretty tender and out of all three tacos, this one was the boldest in flavor. One of my lunch companions got the TACO PLATE ($14) which included three tacos, rice and beans. She said the cubes of chicken were on the dry side. If she had just gotten the tacos, they would have been $9, so the taco plate essentially adds on $5 for the rice and beans. I thought the serving size was fairly generous, but the pricing seemed a little steep in this case. My other companion got the CHICKEN BURRITO ($10) which was huge! He enjoyed it, and this could easily be two servings for some people. This is a solid spot for tacos in Redmond! 4.25 stars. read more

I actually drove past this food truck while running some errands and decided to give it a try. I am SO glad I did. I got the tortas and it was amazing. Probably one of the best I have had. It came on a grilled French roll with beans, choice of meat (I got it with Al Pastor / Adobada), tomato, avocado, jalapeños, and mayo. It was enormous and so dang good. It was so good that I'm head back there this next week to try out some of their other options. [ UPDATE ] - i just picked up a cheese quesadilla and an Adobada burrito. Both were great! Stopped by here on a work trip in the middle of the day. The truck is tucked away in the very back of a parking lot... kinda hard to find if you don't know the area. Ambiance was that of a parking lot, so not that inviting, but hey... we're just here for the tacos. Lady running the window was nice enough, but kinda "all business", since it was lunch time. I appreciated her no nonsense approach. The tacos... the main event! They were friggin' hefty! Very full of their respective fillings. The meat was cooked perfectly and the tortillas were crunchy but still foldable. I chowed these down in the parking lot like I had never eaten before. They really hit the spot. This place makes LEGIT street tacos. If that's your jam, this is the spot. read more

This place have been on my list for a while now and they were at the event in Redmond so we decided to check them out. We got 3 tacos ($3 each): chicken, pork and beef. They weren't skimpy on the fillings and each came with tons of onions, basils and a side of radishes. The tortilla was toasted so it had a nice crunch. Aside from that, it was standard. For me, it was a little on the dry side. I think it's a little pricy as well for a taco. Overall, it's an ok place, but not something I would venture out for. read more

Updating my review because of their prices. We normally call in our orders in advance, because we know what we want and don't want to wait. This past time, I placed my usual lengua taco order, and I was told that they are now $5/taco. I was surprised and asked about the 4 for $10 deal, and the man on the phone told me "That's an old price, we haven't done that for 20 years." Which is untrue, because see my prior review. I've gotten that price at least 3 times in the past several months. So I was a little annoyed, but I get it, inflation is bad. Tacos are still very good. I'll still come here because their lengua tacos are tender & delicious, but I'm less likely to go out of my way for them now, because I've got cheaper tacos closer to me. read more

Food truck out in the corner lot, I was actually really pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Especially for mexican food in the PNW. The only drawbacks that come to mind: 1. $3 for each taco is still really expensive to me, when I've had $1 tacos in LA. On the flipside, they are almost $6 for worse tacos in SF 2. The wait for our one burrito was over 30 minutes. Luckily we took a walk and came back, but don't expect to swing by for a quick bite if you're in a hurry. We got the california burrito and thought it was great. I think the burritos may be more worth it than the tacos, and the cali burrito had fries and cheese+lettuce instead of beans which was great. Will be coming back whenever I need a mexican food fix. just wish it was open a little earlier and/or later! read more

I recently moved here from LA, CA and boy have I been missing my legit Mexican food. The food gods heard my prayer as I stumbled upon this jewel of a food truck one fateful night. Okay all whimsical writing aside this place is delicious. I ordered their tacos al pastor street tacos that served me a very generous and flavorful serving of meat! Their spicy salsa is delicious and captures all the perfect flavor nodes that a red salsa should possess. As a newly relocated Mexican I approve of this establishment in my mere humble opinion. They are open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 8pm and are closed Sundays. I'll post a picture of their phone number if anyone wants to call them to place a phone order. Bandidos is revolutionary, mainly because they've created their own math system. You see, at bandidos, one burrito means two burritos. If you order a burrito, expect it to be at least twice the size of your average one. I got a late lunch here and had enough leftover for my dinner. In this economy, that's a true bargain. So full of flavor and Cooked just right. Adding lime to the tacos brings out the smashing flavor. Hungry? Grab 4 tacos. Had a lot of beer? Grab four tacos. It was great. The cost is very nice. Stopped by on a rainy night to grab some food to eat in the car. I got the 4X street tacos. I got the Carne Asada, Pork Carnitas, Lengua and Al Pastor. They were all super loaded with delicious meat, super flavorful and juicy and the spicy salsa roja paired well them. The Al Pastor was my least favorite because it wasn't authentic like the others but still not bad; the other three were home runs. Strongly recommended. My wife got the veggie burrito. Unfortunately it was not very nice. It was stuffed broccoli and sour cream and a bunch of random veggies that really don't belong on a taco without some seasoning. Also, I don't get why they didn't have basic fajitas in there to make it somewhat more like a burrito. I guess veggie dishes aren't their strength. Basically, get the meats, especially the street tacos, skip the veggie burrito. A tad pricey but really good given the huge portions. 2-3 tacos will easily fill you up. read more

My go-to is their carnitas taco plate, comes with rice and beans and it's so good. So flavorful! Prices are good, and so is the service. A great little taco truck in the heart of downtown Redmond. We'd walk here during the summer time and cross the street to the park and have a little picnic. read more
