Loved all the plants and art they have all over the restaurant, brings out the culture which is always lovely to see! The portions are so generous and they do have quite an extensive menu. I ordered the pork carnitas with black beans and a side of grilled onions and serranos, and a margarita. The only thing that threw me off and I'm not sure what it was, something in my food tasted sweet. I'm not entirely sure if it's due to the soda in the carnitas or something else. I did learn from my server that the carnitas had just finished being ready - very tender and fresh! My server was attentive and friendly! I'd definitely come back here, if I find myself in the area again!

07-31-24 Today, Scott M was my server, and he was fantastic! I had the super nachos and a couple of tacos, and all were great. For dessert, I had dulce de Leche Pastelito, and it was ok.

Amazing service, good food, and delicious margarita! My friend and I came for lunch on Friday and it was packed in the parking lot. We got seated right away and was pleased to see chips and salsa come out immediately as well as water. We put in our ordered about 5 minutes later and it came out pretty quickly. Definitely will be returning next time I'm in the area.

This is definitely one of the better dining options in, Auburn. Visiting several different Las Margaritas, I found the food be extremely consistent. They offer a different menu for lunch and dinner. The lunch combos are great.

TLDR/ Price: Okay, Food: Meh, Cleanliness: Clean, Verdict: Eh, maybe? The meal I just ate was nothing to write home about. The food was criminally under seasoned and a bit crispy from being under a heat lamp for maybe too long. I had enchiladas and my hubby had Pollo Asado. We split the Queso fundido and I ordered a third enchilada, ranchero style, on the side. While nothing tasted bad, nothing was particularly great either. It was all just okay, which is a bummer for the price and time it took to go out in the first place. The service was equally lackluster, not bad, not good, just meh. They brought a pitcher of water and left it at the table, it just felt low effort. I get that things are tough for servers, but you could at least say that rather than just dropping it off. Also, if you do that, at least make sure the pitcher gets refilled, as it sat empty for more than half our meal. The queso fundido was good, but seemed to have much less chorizo than the picture on the menu and didn't come with anything to dip into it. I had to ask for a refill of the chips just so we could eat it. They did give us appetizer plates to use though, which was nice. I was so underwhelmed by my meal, I declined to ask for dessert, and they declined to offer it, so perhaps the feeling was mutual. The shabbiness of the decor and the low effort service made me feel a bit meh myself, and that is never how you want to leave a restaurant. Overall, there is nothing wrong with Las Margaritas but I question if that is enough in this current climate to justify going there. Perhaps, go, perhaps not, but don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Went in for dinner. It's Been a while since we moved but so glad we did. We were greeted with a nice smile. Everyone is so friendly here. We were given chips and salsa shortly after we were seated. Warm chips and the salsa isn't too spicy, just how I like it! I love how their menu is so large and there is something for everyone! My daughter got a slice a pizza and fries, my husband got a burrito, and I got a whole tilapia deep fried with greens, rice, and beans. My meal was but for two meals

When you're paying $27 for seafood chimichangas you're to expect something sensational. Not quite the case at Las Margaritas. Serving was decent, tast and quality of the food was ok. Not sure where they are getting the surcharge as I've had better ones for much cheaper. On top of this, the glasses were dirty! Forgot to take a picture but there was food residue on one of our glasses. Pretty disgusting. The bartender did well though as the Margaritas was spot on.

We ordered the carne asada (no beans, extra rice), which was about $30. The portion was decent, but overall the flavor was just okay. I wouldn't necessarily call it authentic, but it works if you're looking for a quick and easy meal. They did ask how we wanted the meat cooked we requested medium but since the steak was cut thin, it ended up being cooked well done. The kids' meals were simple and come with a drink, which is convenient. However, the orange juice tasted off and was really sour like it was expired, so we asked to switch it to apple juice. Garcia's is a decent option for a casual meal in a spacious setting, but for the price especially the $30 carne asada.

We got the bone marrow, asada vampiros, asada tacos and 2 queso fundidos one with chorizo and one with adobada. Presentation 8/10 - flavor 2/10. The best way I can describe it is that they are just trying too hard. Instead of serving the queso with chips they bring mini corn baked tostadas with no seasoning or flavor. It's just bleh. Chips would have been just fine. One plate came with a small side of whole beans, also no flavor. The only plus is they are very generous with the meat portions. The queso fundido had the consistency of chewy rubber and was serviced in a way where the cheese did not stay hot. Versus other places service with a hot cast iron skillet to keep cheese soft and warm. Service was B+. friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu or add-ons. I would say probably just inexperienced. No beer or spirits available because they don't have their license yet. They the final blow was when the check came, they added an automatic 18% gratuity without saying anything to us. Overall not worth the hype and definitely not with price. Sorry. Buyers remorse :( Wish I could get my money back.

There were two dry pieces of carrot and that onion and jalapeño that I mentioned.. yeah, I got half of a jalapeño sautéed with maybe about eight pieces of onion all over the tacos.. I don't know who called this place authentic but I am highly disappointed.. The only thing that presented any equality was the paper bag and the sturdy paper plate that the tacos came on. Not many reviews for a truck that has been around for a decade, but for the most part, reviews were strong. That said, a couple reviews called the food bland or mediocre, but I still decided to give them a try. Menu was simple, I was having a touch time deciding as I was in the mood for taco's but the nachos looked good. I ended up going with the burrito, because I wanted to taste the rice and beans as well. When served the burrito was noticeably larger than any other truck. I'd say 15% larger. 1st bite wasn't bad. It was tasty, but it was a bit shy on flavor, I like salt and I like spice and those are two things Mexico is known for. I was also handed 2 hot sauces. The red was watered down and disappointing, the green actually had more flavor. That said it was still not the flavor punch I hoped for. Service here was fast and friendly and the food wasn't bad, it just would have benefited from some seasoning and heat. I would 100% come back, but again, these folks need to infuse some flavor into their offerings, word of mouth from a savory meal is how you draw a crowd.
