Based on reviews we tried this place for a Tuesday lunch after travel. I needed some comfort food, and this was the place! I had a mini wet burrito with Carnitas and green sauce. It was truly delicious. Carnitas was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The other reviewer who mentioned the avocado salsa that comes with the chips was absolutely right. It tastes like avocado lime, and I would drink it if they let me! My husband devoured his steak ranchero burrito, and said it was great. Portions were fresh and generous. The inside is small, clean, and traditionally decorated. The server was very polite, attentive, and could be seen cleaning tables between orders. While not crowded for a midweek lunch at about 1 PM, business was steady. We will recommend it to our family in the area and would come here if we lived nearby. read more

First time at Los Bigotes, would definitely recommend. It looks like a lot of taquerias that you would find in Mexico, nondescript outside. It was a little confusing when we pulled into the parking lot. There are three food places in the same area. You want the orange/blue building. Once inside you will discover a world of tasty items on the menu. When you are sitting at your table, the chips will come out with a red and green bottle. Pick the green bottle and all is right in the World. Not sure exactly what is in the green sauce but it exceeded all my expectations. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. My daughter had a mini wet burrito and it filled the plate. I had the pollo asado which was done to perfection, served with warm corn tortillas and of course the green sauce. They have a huge menu and while I've tried other items, the one thing that I constantly come back for is the wet green burrito. It's huge enough to share, and tastes absolutely delicious. While I usually get take out, it's nice to dine in occasionally for the free chips and salsa. This is my second time eating at this restaurant, my husband found this restaurant, it is a hole in the wall. First time I came here it was a little late and I did get the beef tacos and it was great. I got tacos again cause you can never go wrong with tacos but I ordered chicken & beef. Chicken was alright, it needed to be seasoned just a little more but the beef was good. Nachos were also good, it was on the appetizer menu and it was big, so you could share it or have it as an entree. This is a great choice if you're looking for a more authentic Mexican meal in Federal Way. It's small, with challenging parking when it's dinnertime, but people working there are very friendly, and I've yet to have a bad meal. Portions are impressive, and I've ordered plates that sneered at me from the table as if challenging me to finish them completely (I always do). Favorites are the soups, both the Menudo and the Tortilla soup are delicious, and a large bowl is a meal in itself. I'm also partial to their Enchiladas de Mole and the Chile Relleno, but my favorite dish has to be the Tacos de Tripa, but make sure that you ask for them to be cooked crispy. The tortillas also look to be homemade, or at the very least they're from a quality tortilleria. Wash it down with a glass Hibiscus flower juice (Jugo de Jamaica) or a bottle of Jarritos. My sister always has the same Carne Asado, which is always tender and tasting of the grill. Mom always has the wet burrito, which is big enough for two meals. This spot was AMAZING. I'd honestly give them 6 stars if I could. The service was great, friendly. My order was made fresh and HOT so good! My wife and I got the chicken mole special and it was a lot of food, we were hungry and even then should have only ordered 1 to share. But I am glad we didn't cause it was SO good. My 2 young boys got their tacos and with young boys no complaints and finishing food is a good sign. My older one got their carne asada torta and put it away no problem. The first basket of chips are complimentary - the two salsas they give (green and orange) are great! For food, we ordered a wet burrito, a chorizo taco, al carbon tacos, shrimp tacos, and a side of rice. The al carbon (charbroiled steak/carne asada) was delicious! It had great flavor and was tender. The shrimp taco was good too, the orange sauce on it was wonderful. The rice was okay, not great but not terrible - it was kind of lacking in flavor and seasoning for me. I was irritated that we asked for more chips and they charged $2.99. I've never seen a restaurant charge for chips that they give you while your waiting especially since they didn't say they cost money! Went to try this place because of the reviews and was very disappointed. Not only was the food bad the server had gotten order wrong and had a bad attitude when complaining about the burnt carnitas they put in my burrito. I had to tell them about themselves asking why they would serve customers such bad quality food. Asked for one cheese enchilada and one chicken, they put chicken in both that was adobo marinade. Not sure why they didn't put regular chicken. They thought I was trying to get out of paying which clearly was not. I try to explain that I was trying to help them know what they did. Spent $45 dollars and didn't even finish the plate because meat was dry burnt and not satisfying. It was a little difficult to find, tucked back with several other businesses but worth it. Two of us had chili rellenos and one had a huge burrito. Some of the best chili rellenos I've had in a long time and that's my measure of a good place to get Mexican food. My partner an I love going here! It's absolutely terrific! We usually go for lunch and there is a wonderful young lady that is so amazing and polite she truly makes us feel welcomed and takes great care of us. The tacos were freaking delicious, our favorite are the Al Pastor, and the churros were also delicious. The service was great and the employee who took our order was very nice and welcoming. She made sure our table was clean and checked in on us. We ordered Arroz Con Pollo and Pollo a la Crema and it came with tortillas either corn or flour. Arroz Con Pollo has a tomato basic sauce while Pollo a la Crema was more cream base. Both were delicious, but heavy. The dishes were large and dense. Service was fast and food came out quickly. Only one person was covering the whole dining room of about 6 tables and she did a great job. The chips are nothing special but the salsas in little squeeze jars are spicy and unique. The villa's combination was delicious. The think grilled steak was tender and flavorful and the shrimp were cooked just right. Three of us ordered sangria and it was non-alcoholic and tasted like fruity soda for $3.65. We visited here solely based on the Yelp reviews. We came for lunch and it quickly got busy and was full. It's a small cozy restaurant and has about 6 tables and a few tables outside. There was only one girl working and two in the kitchen and they did an excellent job managing how busy it was. Not just with the dine in customers but the multiple to go orders too. Took a little while to get our food but it was well worth it. We ordered a bit of everything. Wet burrito, fish taco, enchiladas and menudos. All was very good!
