Terrible service and terrible food - never again. Forgot to put our order in. Fajitas was almost all vegetables and hardly any meat

First time there. We were there at 4 pm do not crowded. Food is excellent and so fresh. The fried ic cream was different (Carmel with raisins). Scott doesn't like raisins but he ate around it But it was great. Jordan, our server, was excellent. Will go back again. read more

I was really hoping to like this place. Unfortunately I never even ordered dinner. I got to the bar around 4:00 on a Friday to meet friends for drinks and dinner. After the bartender spent spent the first 5 or so minutes ignoring me to talk with a server (they saw me since I was literally the only customer in the entire place) she came over and I asked if they had happy hour. She said no so I asked if they carried skinny margaritas to which she replied yes. She brought it out and granted it was a large one which is fine since I was going to be there a while. However, when my party arrived I asked total out and gave her a $20 bill. Imagine my surprise when she returned with $3, for one margarita. Not only was I shocked but my friends were as well. I was told they handmade it. Maybe you could tell customers before you make it that it cost more than your entrees. I said something to our waiter at the table and his reply was "I don't make the prices" as if I was being unreasonable for being shocked. So needless to say I didn't order another drink and we scratched our dinner entirely. I'm not broke but I don't like to be taken advantage of either. $17 for a margarita is shameful! read more

I'm not sure if the people who say the Mexican food there was great have ever been to Mexico, but the food wasn't authentic. The food was at best mediocre. Our server was was terrible. My wife and I sat on the patio and apparently interrupted a birthday party for a 4 year old. The tables were slow getting cleared and the servers were even slower. So slow that the two parties seated after us got service before we did. Presumably because they did know who was seated in what order and just took care of who was closest to the door first. When we finally got chips and salsa, it wasn't really served to us. It was put on the table as far from my wife and I as possible. It was more of a drive- by delivery, than service. That pretty much set the tone for the evening. The food was good enough to make us come back and the service was bad enough to keep us away. If you enjoy the food and the service, no need to worry. They are surrounded by three hotels, they will likely never go out of business. But they won't get my business again. read more

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant many times. Although they are a new Mexican food restaurant they have obviously done a great job because they are always busy. Refardless, the management does a great job of ensuring the wait times are kept as minimal as possible. The food is excellent, the service is above standard and I have personally recommended and taken many friends and clients there. read more

We have been there about 5 times the food is typically good. The staff tries to do a good job but often fall very short. Manager never engages with patrons. Really should be fired. Wait staff have to take care of half the restaurant so expect an extremely long wait for anything. It really is to bad was a good place to eat. read more

Had dinner here last night. Right off the bat I was turned off by the waitress. Took her a while to come to the table. And her attitude was just off. And no I am not one of those picky people. I get that's it's busy which it was but not overly at 7pm on a Friday night. Food was delicious. I will tell you that. I was not a fan of the salsa because it was really spicy but my husband liked it. I got a bean burrito and the tostaguac. Everything was so good!!! My husband got the fiesta dinner. He loved everything. Also $14 for a margarita is outrageous. Ok it's patron tequila but still come on!!! I made sure I drank every last drop of that thing. I would be more than willing to give 5 stars but the attitude of the server knocked my rating down to 2. Yes it was that bad. She didn't want to be bothered with us. Plus asking us for the check after we were done paying was something I have never seen before. You usually leave it on the table and they get it after. She wanted it before we were ready to leave. Close by, so decided to give it try. Wait staff not familiar with the menu. I had the Shrimp tacos, which were pretty good, however the two sides I chose were nothing special. Black beans were like I would make at home straight from a can. Cilantro Rice was just white rice with Cilantro sprinkled on top. Should have just been called Rice WITH Cilantro, not Cilantro rice since thats what it was. Without a piece of Cilantro with the rice it was totally without any taste. Give it a year and it will be gone. Nothing says AUTHENTIC MEXICAN like a store ran by young white dudes. Don't waste your time and money. Nothing to see here. read more

The first time I ate here in March 2018 I had bad shrimp and was sick for 3 days. Giving it a second chance, I tried again on May 18. The service was absolutely terrible (and it wasn't that crowded). I complained to the hostess desk and explained why I was not leaving a tip. She apologized. However, imagine my surprise and anger when I saw that they had added a $7 tip to my charges. Paid a visit to the manager and, although they did issue a credit, this was a case of credit card fraud with their unauthorized charge. Never again! read more

My family loves this restaurant. Convenient location at the corner of K and Hwy 40. The food is high quality and very reasonably priced. Overall the experience is very good. I went here when it first opened over a year ago. At that time it was bad service, waiting for chips, waiting for a waiter/waitress to take drink orders, long time before food arrived, etc. I figured it was because they were new and gave them the benefit of the doubt. My daughter has come here with a friends' family and has said they are much better. I figured i would take her to dinner here to try again since enough time has passed. When we got there they gave us a post it note with a number on it and told us 15-20 minutes. More people continued to come in and get post it note numbers. After about 25 minutes when higher numbers and large groups of people who arrived after us began getting called, I approached the counter and I guess they realized they overlooked us. No problem, it happens. When we were brought to our seat and given menus, they left there was no one was bringing any chips and salsa. After about 15 minutes a waitress showed up and asked what we wanted to drink. I had to ask if we could have chips and salsa with our drink order. After our food arrived I noticed there was not hot sauce so she brought some in a small salsa dish. About halfway through our meal, my daughter pulled out a long curly hair from her refried beans. She then said she just lost her appetite. I should have asked for another order of it but didn't. She just said she would get a to go box for her fajitas. When the waitress came and brought our check, I opened it to discover there was someone else's debit card still in the bill folder, along with their bill. I sat and waited to flag her down but didn't see her so I just put their debit card in view and stood it up on our table like it was ours. She then came by and took it away. After discovering it was the wrong bill she quickly came back with the right one and apologized. I paid for 2 fajitas, a couple sodas and a margarita. Our bill was $42 but on our way to the car my daughter thought that was too expensive for what we ordered. In my haste to just get out of there, I didn't review my bill and in hindsight thought that it did seem oddly high. Perhaps the margarita was $15, who knows. The bill was probably wrong too. I told my daughter that after a year and a half I would have thought they would have better service but I was disappointed. And I am almost never disappointed in any restaurant. read more

Ok let me just start by saying that the man running the front of house was rude and wouldn't acknowledge any customers walking in. That pretty much set the mood for the whole visit. When we finally got seated we had waiters and waitresses walk passed us over 20 times and none of them asked us if we would like a drink or brought us chips or anything. Finally a man who looked like a manager asked us if we had been helped yet (he had walked passed us about 3 times himself). When we finally got our drinks we had been ready to order for 30 minutes. The food was not great. I've never seen a quesadilla that wasn't cut. Also it was so soggy that it fell apart when I even tried to eat it. After being there for 2 hours we finally had to ask for our check because no one would bring it. Turns out the don't out there drink prices on the menu for a reason. $18 for two drinks!!!!! Never going back. Over priced. Rude. Slow. Nothing special. read more

We stopped by to try this place for lunch. My wife had a strawberry margarita and I had an ice tea. Service was good. Chips, salsa, and queso was good. My wife had the lunch fajitas. Went for the first time last Friday. Took over an hour to get our food which was just OK. I thought it was on the expensive side for the amount of food. My entree did not come with rice or beans which worked out well because we had eaten plenty of chips and salsa during the long wait for our food. Drinks were OK, nothing special. The frozen veggies in the rice is a gross surprise, don't expect cheese to be melted at all because the food arrives barely warm and what kind of mystery meat is in that "beef" taco? Visited for lunch and was disappointed. The enchilada, burrito and taco combination was underwhelming. The meat was the same in all three, nothing was different between the enchilada and the burrito except the amount of meat. All covered with a thick, tomato-y sauce. Gave the restaurant another try April 15 for dinner. There was a wait - no big deal. Waiter was friendly on his fly-bys past our table. Waited a good 20 minutes for our food after ordering and was disappointed again. We both had fajitas, mine steak - his the combination, and the meat was miniscule and not flavorful.
