What's not immediately visible is the team behind the venue. There are so many integral pieces that go into putting on an important event like this, and everyone we worked with was awesome - the tasting/food event staff, bartending staff, setup/teardown staff, office staff, etc. Laura (wedding coordinator) and her assistant Stacey (bridal assistant for me on the day of) were both so incredibly helpful and ran a tight ship. They were so attentive, and constantly ensured things were going alright. You can tell they've done this so many times. I can't recommend this venue or Trademark Venues enough. This is the second property of theirs that I've attended a wedding at (1 obviously being my own), and both were spectacular. I would highly recommend checking out all of their locations! They all have their own unique charm and style.

I had a few loved ones host their wedding at other Trademark venues like Green Gable and really loved the vibe. They do self tours in the mornings on the weekend so it was nice to just wander and check out the space. It's so spacious and you can really do a lot with the space. A note is that because it was such a big venue, it can be hard to gather people so definitely plan around that. We really wanted a venue that had a lot of nature in it and Botanica had that! I wanted an outdoor, romantic atmosphere and it was just perfect! It was such a beautiful location and fun canvas to play with. Trademark also has a catalogue with pieces you could choose to use. We liked that there were pieces to choose from that were included in our package. That helped us a lot with decor. There were other pieces at a cost as well. Trademark will also host menu tasting nights to help choose your hor dourves and mains. We were able to meet Eli, our head caterer there, and he was at the wedding day of. The food tasting was a great experience and he was so, so helpful in answering all of our questions as well. Each Trademark venue comes with a wedding coordinator! They will meet you with you a handful to times to make sure the day of goes smoothly. We had Mikaela and she was the absolute BEST wedding coordinator that we could ask for. From the beginning, she gave us great guidance and information. Any question we had, she had answers! The worksheets that Mikaela had given us were also very helpful! Planning out the schedule so that we were all on the same page was super helpful. She is very detail oriented and gave us all advice that we never even knew we needed. Mikaela stands on business! Dress rehearsal was so perfect in getting last details together. On the day of, she made sure that we did all the things we planned for, even with the unforeseen delays. Her behind the scenes work made everything run so smooth! Our family and friends absolutely loved her. Also shout out to Aiat who specifically supported me and the wedding party. We felt so cared for! Thank you for always offering to get us water, checking in if we needed anything, etc. We also got great feedback from our loved ones that they loved the bartenders; they were very friendly and got drinks out in a timely manner. Honestly, such a beautiful venue and the staff was sooooo great. They made our day so special! Everything looked absolutely beautiful. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. I could not contain my emotions walking down the aisle in the Grotto--it was the most beautiful setup I have ever seen. The space was perfectly shaded, and our photos turned out stunning. After the Grotto, guests moved on to the bar area and starlit lawn, then under the tent for the reception. The flow between each space was beautifully planned. Not to mention the giant lawn, perfect for sunset photos. Our guests loved every minute of it. The staff were AMAZING! You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. They checked in with us every step of the way. I tend to get anxious with events like this, but I had zero anxiety on my wedding day--which rarely happens! They took care of everything, from keeping the timing smooth to packing up at the end of the night. A special thank you to our coordinator, Alyssa Dubois. I was the officiant for my friends wedding here. The groom and bride rooms were spacious and really clean. The ceremony under the hanging ferns has got to be one of the prettiest ceremony spaces I've seen. The dinner area that was under the white tent was also very well decorated and spacious. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. Kind of cool/helpful that they have walkie talkies to converse with each other throughout the venue.

Jenelle was also able to make some great vendor recommendations that worked out wonderfully. The venue itself was beautiful and many of our friends told us during the night that they would have gotten married here if they had known about it for their weddings. Every member of the staff was so helpful and two steps ahead of every single one of our needs for the day before we even knew we needed them. One of the biggest advantages of this venue is the flexibility they provide. Unlike many newer venues that require you to use a limited list of vendors, Estrella allows couples to choose their own vendors. They provide excellent recommendations and preferred vendors while still giving clients the freedom to work within their budget, as long as vendors meet insurance requirements. We recently stayed several days at this venue, with a wedding party. First off, the grounds are…read moreabsolutely lovely. Unfortunately, everything else was subpar. When we arrived, we couldn't help but notice how filthy this place was. There were cobwebs in every room, including the bedrooms. There was filth behind the pedestal sink, in our room as well as others and the floor beneath the trundle bed had not been vacuumed in ages. The windows, kitchen floor, oven range hood, range top and dishwasher were filthy. I had to wash the coffee maker because it had old dried out coffee grounds inside. The kitchen floor was so filthy, I wiped up a small bit of water, with a paper towel and was nearly black. The oven would not close properly, which rendered it nearly useless. We were only able to use it by propping a trach can against the oven door, to keep it closed. The seal, for the freezer drawer, was literally hanging out of the bottom of the drawer. There were no dish towels and insufficient washcloths, bath towels and face towels for guests. Several bedroom smoke alarms still had the yellow "REMOVE TO ACTIVATE" plastic strips in them, which meant they were inoperable. I removed those strips, from several smoke alarms, only to find the batteries were dead and expired 22 months earlier. The pool was too cold to swim in. It was supposed to be heated and it was not. We had to request paper towels for the restrooms, in the reception hall, because both dispensers were empty. Several guest rooms smelled of sewer gas. We contacted the owner regarding the odor however, maintenance personnel were unable to resolve it. For the prices this place charges, they should be ashamed.
