The flow of the event space from where the ceremony is held, to the cocktail hour, to the reception to the dance floor felt like everywhere had a specific place and purpose, but allowed for guests to still have places to talk outside of just sitting at the if they didn't want to be on the dance floor. It still felt like everyone was in the mix of the night, even if they were playing some provided games like corn hole, or sitting above the reception area and viewing everyone else from above. We got so many compliments of the space as well as the food! Personal Touch dining is included in the venue fee, which was such a relief because they had the best food options and amazing staff! I didn't have to worry about anything involving catering because everything was handled for us. Side note, we randomly got so many compliments about the garlic mashed potatoes and the mini churros in chocolate, LOL. We got so lucky with Ashely W. as our event coordinator throughout the process and the day of. She was so calm cool and collected the entire day, kept us on track with our agenda, all with the smile on her face. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a seamless, beautiful elevated backyard wedding vibe!

I had a few loved ones host their wedding at other Trademark venues like Green Gable and really loved the vibe. They do self tours in the mornings on the weekend so it was nice to just wander and check out the space. It's so spacious and you can really do a lot with the space. A note is that because it was such a big venue, it can be hard to gather people so definitely plan around that. We really wanted a venue that had a lot of nature in it and Botanica had that! I wanted an outdoor, romantic atmosphere and it was just perfect! It was such a beautiful location and fun canvas to play with. Trademark also has a catalogue with pieces you could choose to use. We liked that there were pieces to choose from that were included in our package. That helped us a lot with decor. There were other pieces at a cost as well. Trademark will also host menu tasting nights to help choose your hor dourves and mains. We were able to meet Eli, our head caterer there, and he was at the wedding day of. The food tasting was a great experience and he was so, so helpful in answering all of our questions as well. Each Trademark venue comes with a wedding coordinator! They will meet you with you a handful to times to make sure the day of goes smoothly. We had Mikaela and she was the absolute BEST wedding coordinator that we could ask for. From the beginning, she gave us great guidance and information. Any question we had, she had answers! The worksheets that Mikaela had given us were also very helpful! Planning out the schedule so that we were all on the same page was super helpful. She is very detail oriented and gave us all advice that we never even knew we needed. Mikaela stands on business! Dress rehearsal was so perfect in getting last details together. On the day of, she made sure that we did all the things we planned for, even with the unforeseen delays. Her behind the scenes work made everything run so smooth! Our family and friends absolutely loved her. Also shout out to Aiat who specifically supported me and the wedding party. We felt so cared for! Thank you for always offering to get us water, checking in if we needed anything, etc. We also got great feedback from our loved ones that they loved the bartenders; they were very friendly and got drinks out in a timely manner. Honestly, such a beautiful venue and the staff was sooooo great. They made our day so special! Everything looked absolutely beautiful. We're sure that there is a lot of behind the scenes work to make it all happen smoothly.

You're driving through farm land and an area of home development, but once you enter the driveway of Botanica, you'll come to a beautiful lush oasis with lots of trees and greenery, and a little pond. It gave me Hawaii vibes. The ceremony takes place in the front area, cocktail hour/restrooms are in the middle area, and the dinner reception took place in a tent in the back. The service here of everyone I encountered was very good. The dinner was pretty good, and was served family style. One of our dishes was a smoked salmon & shrimp farfalle pasta - but there was only 2 pieces of shrimp in the whole bowl. While the bartenders were very nice, the cocktails were ok. One major thing they need to improve on is their ceremony set up. If this place is catering to weddings, you have to make sure people can actually see the wedding. The wedding party was situated lower down by the water, think of it like the couple having their ceremony in the orchestra pit. Because of this, anyone sitting past the 3rd row wouldn't be able to watch the ceremony. I was in the 7th row and all I could see were the backs of people's heads. I ended up staring up at the trees and listening to the whole ceremony. =( Luckily their mic & speakers were working.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. I could not contain my emotions walking down the aisle in the Grotto--it was the most beautiful setup I have ever seen. The space was perfectly shaded, and our photos turned out stunning. After the Grotto, guests moved on to the bar area and starlit lawn, then under the tent for the reception. The flow between each space was beautifully planned. Not to mention the giant lawn, perfect for sunset photos. Our guests loved every minute of it. The staff were AMAZING! You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. They checked in with us every step of the way. I tend to get anxious with events like this, but I had zero anxiety on my wedding day--which rarely happens! They took care of everything, from keeping the timing smooth to packing up at the end of the night. A special thank you to our coordinator, Alyssa Dubois. She has a natural ability to connect with people and make everyone feel comfortable, including my mother-in-law--which is no small feat! The ceremony under the hanging ferns has got to be one of the prettiest ceremony spaces I've seen. The dinner area that was under the white tent was also very well decorated and spacious. Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. Kind of cool/helpful that they have walkie talkies to converse with each other throughout the venue.

At first I was nervous about the 10pm cutoff but most outdoor venues in San Diego also comply with this rule and after actually going through a wedding as the bride I was exhausted by 10pm lol! The office manager was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. The vendor recommendations were awesome as well as I found a lot of great people that helped bring the party to life. As someone who has planned events in every career role I have had, I feel the space could have been better arranged. The Centre has various venue choices of different sizes. They are used for weddings, reunions and celebrations of all types. They may not need to be booked but it would be great to see more non- profit, charitable and flex functions here in the future.
