My kids are simple and easily chose character paletas. Noah got a Tweety Bird and 'Em chose a Powder Puff Girl. Both were lemon sherbet based and didn't last very long, but ended up all over their faces - par for the course. I tried something different. I got an agua loka. This was a cup of fully dressed pepinos with chamoy and tajin powder, over a cup of limonada. It was refreshing x2. My kids poached off my treat and enjoyed it more than I had bargained for. The staff were super nice and came out to greet us...we were stuck using the wrong door. We must have gotten there right on time. As soon as we got our order 3pm-ish. The empty parking lot filled for folks ordering a variety of other treats from helotrs to smoothies. Next time I may try the mangonada smoothie. The dining room is roomy, and we'll decorated with papel picada. They even have a picante station in case their version of amole topping ain't enough. I am confident that Fruteria Chavez is capable of taking care of your needs.
