I never knew this tiny Capy store was even existed and I passed the store so many times. Being Capy's fan in the past, I went there to get the chocolate tres leches cake for the kids and one strawberry for adults. They were delicious, moist and fresh. The price is also very reasonable. I got these 2 yummy cakes for under $100 The staffs are also very nice and helpful. This is what I love about Capy. All the staffs in every locations that I visited ( Jackson Heights and Corona) are very nice as well

If that is something that you like, your cake tasting like the ice cream already melted into it, then this is the cake for you. So many to choose from as well. Their were some samples they had already available to try. Coconut and Chococaramel. My friend and I loved the coconut, and me not being a fan of eating anything coconut, I went with the choco one. Although it was good, I didn't really care for the wet texture of the cake. What I did care for was the pecan cookies that they had available for sale, not to mention if you make any purchase in the store you get a free coffee, water, etc. Along with other desserts and treats they have, you can buy their cakes by slice, I choose their cookies and cream to take home to the hubs and he enjoyed it. I also picked up some of their truffles. (Dulce de leche, Salted Carmel, and Banana Foster). The staff is super friendly and cool, I see more visits to come.

I, too, was fooled by Instagram. We discovered this place the same way most people do -- through…read morethe cute, trendy desserts that look great online. I also wanted to support a local business. So my husband made the journey across town and brought home a few treats from Happy Cake, including a chocolate coffee dessert shaped like a Starbucks cup with a chocolate lid. When my daughter popped the chocolate lid off to eat it, we found mold growing inside the dessert. This is absolutely unacceptable for any food business -- I don't care if it's "my people" or not. For context, we bought the dessert on Sunday and discovered the mold on Monday. Fresh, properly stored desserts do not grow visible mold overnight. That means this item was already old, improperly stored, or handled without proper food safety standards. None of those possibilities are okay, especially when the dessert was meant for a child. We didn't bother driving all the way back to the store -- it's too far -- but we threw out that dessert and every other treat we bought immediately. I'm just grateful my daughter didn't take a bite first. I cannot trust the freshness or safety of their products and will not be buying anything from Happy Cake again. And if anyone thinks I'm exaggerating, I'm posting a photo so you can see exactly what we found.

The drinks were delicious, the food was just as amazing, and everything was presented so beautifully. You can tell they really care about the details. Luis, our waiter, was incredible. He was attentive, thoughtful, and truly paid attention to every detail throughout our visit. We were celebrating our book club anniversary, and they surprised us with a lit pastry and a celebratory song. It was such a special touch and made the brunch even more memorable. The entire staff was kind, welcoming, and attentive. I will definitely be coming back to be served by Luis and to enjoy more sweet treats. I cannot wait to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend.
