Laspo is my type of golf course. It ain't fancy shmancy but they offer a bang for your buck! For the amount of damage that this course endured with all the rainstorms earlier this year, it is fairly maintained. There were a few holes with some necessary repair but overall, not bad at all. Fairways are tight and those greens are tricky! Pace of play here sucks. There was a tournament going on the day I played but after reading some reviews, that seems to be a common issue here. Something to keep in mind if you are a picky golfer. I've always seen this course off the freeway and glad I finally gave it a try. I'd definitely play here again, it's modest and affordable. Beware of the wild turkeys! I've heard great things about Beeb's. It's a large restaurant with patio dining, several TVs and a full scale bar. I just did my chilled tequila shot to end the round but I'll have to stick around and try the buffalo chicken sando next time.

First time golfing in almost a year, and had an absolute best time golfing here! I've always seen this course from the freeway and finally got a chance to give it a go. The course itself is not super easy. While it's links style, there's plenty of fairway bunkers, hazards, and tight fairways that can make the round tough if you can't keep it straight off the tee. The rain this year flooded parts of the course and they are slowly working themselves back. The greens were nice for a public course, and sneaky fast at some points. For $75 on the weekend for 18 holes and a cart, it's definitely one of the more affordable weekend golf rates in the bay. The tri valley does get super hot at times, so trying to snag a early tee time would be ideal. The pace of play was a lil slow due to a tournament but I didn't mind bc I really enjoyed the company I was with. Overall, I'd definitely play this course again.

Back 9 is more open. Rip it.

But yet, the hotel complained that we were loud and decide to kick us out in the middle of the night without any warning. Called the cops to escort us out. No a dog friendly establishment nor is the front desk host at night, the evening of June 30 into July 1st. Two cop cars rounded up in front of this hotel, they were nice. But, the host of the hotel was rude!!! We had paid for extra dogs and extended our stay. This is so very unprofessional, unexpected, unreasonable. I would not recommend this hotel!!! It shouldn't be part of the Marriott brand, this hotel ruins the name!!! I would never stay with this hotel ever again nor would I ever recommend this place, it's a shit hole! I say that so it helps the reader understand my perspective here in that, I'd stay with this chain again. All things being equal, I put it on par with a Hilton Garden Inn. The interior is nice and modern. For the most part, the hotel was pretty clean too. The staff was friendly. One thing I noticed is that there usually wasn't anyone at the front desk when I came down in the morning. In fact, when my room didn't get serviced the first night, I stopped at the desk to ask if I needed to request it. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes before I left because no one came out to help. That and the fact they don't put microwaves in the rooms were the only inconveniences I experienced. The rooms are quite small, but not too bad. I don't know how I feel about everything being in the same room, but at least there is a pocket door for the bathroom...but that is required by code. Lastly, if you are going to stay at this property, you need to be forewarned about the elevators. They are super slow. On at least 3 occasions during my week-long stay I had to wait 10 or more minutes for an elevator. Considering there are only four floors, I would have expected them to be faster. All in all, it was a good stay and I'd consider staying again. If you're in the Livermore area, and looking for a hotel, you should consider this one.

The coffee was great, the staff was much more helpful and welcoming, and they actually asked whether my order was for here or to-go and made recommendations. They also helped me with the Wi-Fi and password, and I really appreciated that staff checked in at my table to see if I needed anything. The space itself is great for working remotely or getting some work done. Once you know where to pick up your drinks and how everything works, it's much easier to navigate. I've been here multiple times, and it's always been clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a professional setting. It's one of those places where you can focus, have a productive conversation, and not be distracted by the environment. Looking at some of the photos and seeing how the space is set up, I can also see this being a strong option for hosting parties or personal events. It feels like the kind of place where you could have a catered dinner with friends and not have to worry about cleaning your house or dealing with restaurant wait times. From my experience, it consistently delivers on what it's supposed to be -- a reliable, comfortable space. If you've used it for an event or gathering, I'd be interested to hear how it worked for you. Give it a try and leave your review. The Barn was the best fit for us. Things to note about the Barn: -There is an old wooden bar that you can move depending on where you want it -250 person capacity -There is a dusty smell to the Barn as it's older, with candles we didn't notice it -The Barn isn't super clean, there is a little bit of dust and cobwebs, but it is a barn afterall -The bathrooms are pretty minimalistic, the men's room actually doesn't have a door -There are big white panels on the indoor walls of the Barn which look great with uplighting -They make you have security, but it wasn't prohibitive or even noticeable -There is plenty of parking -They don't allow kegs -It is better for a night reception, as the night makes the Barn's flaws less noticeable -There is a minimal kitchen for a catering company to use -We rented chairs, tables, and a dance floor, rather than using what came with the Barn -They don't clean, so make sure you arrange for cleanup Overall it was perfect for our wedding, I just don't think it would be perfect for everyone's wedding. The LARPD staff were very easy to work with and we got our full deposit refunded without a problem. I'd recommend the Barn hands down for someone looking for rustic on a budget and at night :). Great service before, during and after the event, however there were 2 issues I encountered. 1- we got double-booked hence the party being on Friday but we did get compensated for it. 2- i was told no alcohol and the security guards were like really?! In the end though because of the rainy weather it was meant to be because of everyone's safety. If you are creative this is the place for you (personally I'm not). I'm use to walking into hotel banquet rooms and then off to have fun so unless you hire a staff or have a great support system like me this is a good choice. We embraced the walls. Rather than covering it up our awesome DJ lighted it up did then popped it with a monogram. Overall yea I'd rent here again. The kitchen was great and we just added a little bathroom necessity basket for the guests to use. Have guests bring a jacket because it can get cold but since we were all dancing and having fun we warmed up quick!
