First thing to mention here is that I'm a Hilton guy. I have been since 2004. In fact, I only stay with other chains when forced to by my company. I say that so it helps the reader understand my perspective here in that, I'd stay with this chain again. All things being equal, I put it on par with a Hilton Garden Inn. The interior is nice and modern. For the most part, the hotel was pretty clean too. The staff was friendly. One thing I noticed is that there usually wasn't anyone at the front desk when I came down in the morning. In fact, when my room didn't get serviced the first night, I stopped at the desk to ask if I needed to request it. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes before I left because no one came out to help. That and the fact they don't put microwaves in the rooms were the only inconveniences I experienced. The rooms are quite small, but not too bad. I don't know how I feel about everything being in the same room, but at least there is a pocket door for the bathroom...but that is required by code. Lastly, if you are going to stay at this property, you need to be forewarned about the elevators. They are super slow. On at least 3 occasions during my week-long stay I had to wait 10 or more minutes for an elevator. Considering there are only four floors, I would have expected them to be faster. All in all, it was a good stay and I'd consider staying again. If you're in the Livermore area, and looking for a hotel, you should consider this one. read more

Had an amazing stay at this Aloft for a number of nights here. Rooms were cool, nice square studio layouts. Gym was impressive for a smaller hotel, treadmills, free weights and a giant Smith machine with a bunch of stuff. The staff were incredible, special shout out to Jeanne R., for taking care of us so well. I remember going to bed at like 11ish, saying goodnight to Jeanne at the front desk. I get up to trade with the markets at six ish and she's still at the front desk when I went to get fresh coffee. Holy cow! She made our stay incredible pleasant and easy. The lobby is nice and quiet in the mornings to work, spent many hours with my dog like that. The free coffee 24/7 is not bad too. Slight issues...include the residential complex behind the hotel...there are some freaking psycho drivers and I almost got run over on the straightaway next to the backup generator. Not sure if anything can be done about that realistically. What else..the ethnic smells from the neighboring businesses are not fantastic...at all. Nor the 20-30 ethnic kids who show up to steal snacks every weekday afternoon. But man, a great spot in the Bay Area, two Costco's. Country Waffles nearby. Some of the best dim sum is here too with Mayflower (RIGHT OUTSIDE, YAY) and Koi Palace two blocks away. If you're into golf, Bridges is nearby with a beautiful course that's hard as hell. I stayed here while on a work trip and felt so unsafe that I checked out early and they STILL CHARGED ME for the full stay knowing I left and went to a different hotel. I was at the restaurant/bar to order food and was talking to the other guests when a VERY drunk man tried to fight the man sitting next to me. He thought the man said something to him and pushed him knocking me off my stool. Prior to that, the drunk man was inappropriate things to me of a sexual nature that I ignored and never even looked at him. The bartender knew the man and started laughing when he accosted the guest and knocked me off my seat. I immediately closed out my drink and left before even ordering my food. I went to the front desk and let the person working know what happened and that they need to pay attention. I was grabbing stuff from the little store (for my dinner) and the man aggressively walked over and got in my face asking me if I "tattled" on him. I ignored him and went to the elevator. He pushed his way onto the elevator and began saying more sexually explicit things to me and I was afraid he was going to try and follow me. I made it to my room and got scared since the bartender had my last name and room number. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to a different room and they told me there was nothing else available. At that point, I threw all my stuff back into my suitcase and went down to check out. At this point it was after 10 PM and they knew I had to go find a different hotel to stay out since I didn't feel safe. I was told at the manager would be informed and would reach out to me and I never heard a single word from anyone at the hotel. I emailed the manager and never got a response. I could have handled some drunk guy being a jerk, but when the bartender who was female was laughing about what had happened and made no acknowledgment to the fact that this man accosted multiple people sitting at her bar and the hotel manager did nothing about it and never even responded It's truly unfortunate. I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel in all of my many years of traveling on a weekly basis. read more

4/5/2024 Happy April Yelp fam! We booked one night here yesterday for a wedding we attended. Modern hotel which gives you the same expected feel of most Aloft hotels we stayed at previously. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean but abut tight in space to roam between beds, table etc. We had a 2 bedroom queen room. Room also has corner seatings and a table in the room so not a ton of space in our opinion. Staff was friendly upon checkin/checkout. Worked for one night stay for us. read more

This would be 3.5 if we could give half stars. I would even up it 4 stars if the cleanliness would have been a bit better in the rooms. So..... Overall this places vibe is if a modern hotel had a baby with a retro hotel. The decor is quirky and fun. The layout is pretty nice. It's in a great location which would be 5 stars by itself. It feels safe and is very accessible to lots of stuff. The front of the house staff upon checking in (Jean) was welcoming and very knowledgeable. The lobby was very eclectic. Pool table, game area, bar. I can see it being a fun place to hang out if you're with a group. They have a nice little grab and go area for snacks. They have a free coffee and infused water set up upon entering. You can set up getting breakfast the next morning. Grab and go simple menu choices. They feature recycling bins along side every trash can, in and out of the rooms which is nice to see. Our stay was 1 night, king bed regular room. The room was good on size and decorated bright and fun. Modern feel, like no closets only a hanging station and a 2 drawer luggage table. Makes the room feel more open without all the doors and cabinets. For short stays who really needs closets anyway. The bathroom is okay in size, with a huge shower. The water pressure was decent, the temperature was okay. Had to turn the knob to full hot to have it at what would be regular at home. The bed was very soft. Pillow top and super sinking in feeling. Okay by me, but my fiancé needs firm. For one night this was okay, but had we stayed multiple nights, that bed would have lead to severe back pain by the end of the trip for them. Nice large TV, although we didn't use it. Mini fridge and great coffee set up. 2 bottles of free water were included in the room. Unfortunately they're were a few things that could use attention. The room wasn't as clean as it should be. For the rating this property gets and prices charged, I expected better. The room had a musty scent, quite noticeable upon entry. Thought using the air conditioner might help but it didn't. really. Either we got used to it or it dissipated a little as the night went on. The air conditioner was a little wonky. When it was blowing cool air it was great. But when it got to the set temperature or just below it started blowing normal air, instead of just shutting off and on as needed. Kind of like it was self regulating or something. It was frustrating because I kept waking up hot, then cold and so forth. We did have breakfast there. We got a breakfast biscuit sandwich and egg bites, apple juice and coconut water. Prices were fair. Fortunately for this visit we were comped. The robot butler that delivers to the room was unavailable due to maintenance during the morning, so we didn't get to experience that feature. Kind of a bummer. Wanted to see what that was all about. Checking out was easy and again a very friendly staff member. (May....Jean's sister, haha... great attitudes just run in the family) Staff wise this place is 5 stars. I stayed here overnight and I would say it was good but not amazing. It seemed pretty clean, although some of the finishes were starting to fray. The bed in particular seemed very clean and they let me know that they change things like pillow protectors for each new guest. My interaction with staff was limited, but they were pleasant and helpful. I thought the bed was very comfortable and I got a long sleep on it. However, I did wake up several times, because... There isn't much in the way of sound insulation in that building! People walking around normally in the hallway sounded like wall-shaking bass. Once I realized that I started walking very softly. The heat was also very loud. If you're sensitive to noise, this is not the place for you. Other reviews have mentioned that the toilet-area door doesn't give you much privacy, and it's true. Your fellow guest won't see you on the toilet, but they'll be able to hear and smell whatever you're doing, even if they're not in the bathroom themselves. Parking was plentiful and there are several restaurants in the same sort of parking lot conglomeration, so a very brief and safe walk away. read more

Our daughter is getting married nearby and she reserved a wedding block here. I can say that I have enjoyed staying at Marriott's hotels over the years and apparently there are different levels of hotels. Service has been exceptional as I called and requested early check in and Abder was able to get us a room before the 3 PM check in time because we needed to leave our dog in the room before going off to the wedding rehearsal luncheon a block away. Also chatting on the Marriott Bonvoy app, I was able to confirm that Abder also made a notation on my sister's gift reservation that her name was put on the room I reserved for her for check-in so that I won't need to be present when she checks into the room. The hotel has many amenities such as electric charging stations for cars in the parking lot, free parking, luggage carriers near the inside of the entry door, complimentary infused water, coffee and tea in the lobby, swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, game area with billiard table, and a bar for relaxing. The king bed room that we are staying in is basically functional with clothing rack with iron and ironing board, safe, refrigerator, coffee maker, drawers for your clothing, a table/desk with a small curved sofa, dispenser toiletries in the shower, soap and lotion near the sink. 3 things come to mind that need improvement but perhaps cannot be remedied: 1) Lack of breakfast which other Marriott's either provide complimentary breakfast or restaurant that offers breakfast 2) Room was not designed with practicality in mind as a) there is a towel rack in the shower/toilet area which is a plus but if you are washing your hands or face in the sink outside, you have to grab your towel in the adjoining shower area which is not convenient, and b) all the lights are bright and if you turn off all the lights, it is pitch black and hard for you to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning on one of the bright lights. The shower and sink area lights are all connected so you can't leave that light on as it is too bright to sleep. One solution to the darkness in the room is to leave the window shade partially up so that moonlight or lights from outside give you enough light to walk to the bathroom. So far I have been able to use the fitness center to get my workout in, a must while traveling! There are several machines, free weights, bench, stability balls, yoga mats as well as water station, towels, sanitary wipes, and complimentary packaged earphones. Breakfast in the nearby surrounding areas outside the hotel are lacking unless you drive to the closest breakfast/brunch area is 8 minutes away. read more

We've used Aloft for about 3 years for our conference, to host our speakers. As far as cleanliness and up to date rooms this is the best around. Trust me we drove around and checked. I've had multiple people help me throughout the years. Most recently Manuel helped me and he was so kind and handled our multiple check ins with such ease. He did such a phenomenal job that I asked for his manager to compliment him and turns out he's the manager. I haven't received that level of care and customer service for a while. Today I was helped by Nadine and same! Great experience and just making it so easy to be a guest. Their type of customer service is such a lost art. read more

Stay on Sat 01/04th: Booked this room online. Check-in was quick. The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Pillows were nice as well. We went downstairs to Wyz bar and grabbed a couple of delicious drinks. 4 stars out of 5. I believe we stayed on the 2nd floor. Decided to stay here again this past weekend. A little staycation since we had a good experience the weekend before. Stay on Fri 01/10th: Our room was comfortable and clean. Once again, no issues here. Room #222 (2nd floor). Stay on Sat 01/11th: Because we decided spur of the moment to extend our stay. We got a different room. Room #327 (3rd floor). This is where things didn't go so well. The a/c was malfunctioning. We would set it at the desired temp, and it would get extremely hot. When we turned it down a bit, it would go extremely cold. We ended up trying to turn off the a/c completely with the keypad. It still kept blowing, despite it being off! After sometime, we got runny noses and a sore throat. We were all bundled up and even had to ask the front desk for extra blankets! The robot delivery butler delivered the extra blankets 1.5 hours later. We finally figured out how to turn off the unit completely, by turning it off on the actual unit itself. The bed wasn't the most comfortable either. Huge difference from the 2 previous experiences, so I am hoping this is an isolated issue. I did mention it to the staff so hopefully someone can fix it. The property is located in a great spot, as there are many eatery choices around there. Their complimentary coffee is nice. Plenty of parking. As a Bonvoy Marriott member, I have experienced my fair share of hotels, and this one doesn't really step up to be that amazing Aloft experience. We loved this boutique hotel ! The staff were all so welcoming and the rooms perfect ... clean and stylish ! Comfortable beds and fantastic maid service ! We enjoyed the complimentary coffee downstairs, the microwave on each floor and the gym! This place is perfectly located near several restaurants and stores and a great place to take a walk around the new developments. This is our go-to spot when we're town. It's clean and has a charger for our Tesla. It's in the same area as many restaurants and a boba spot that is pretty good too. Check in is always quick. I wish they had room service and a separate light for the toilet/shower area. Overall a reliable hotel but a great tip would be to bring a nightlight of some sort for middle of the night restroom trips. The room is small so may not be ideal if you're planning to stay in the hotel for long but short trips that are primarily just for sleeping is great. read more

Nice hotel with a teeny tiny little pool. It's a mini size pool. They allow kids with their floating devices, baby boats, and swim toys which doesn't leave much room for other guests :-( Unfortunately on the day we stayed, a mom with her daughter stayed for a tournament. That mom called her sister who lived locally who brought her kids who brought their friends who called their brother who brought his wife that had kids too. In this teeny tiny small pool, there was no room for actually paying guests. The employees are very nice. read more

Very disappointed to see the staff did absolutely nothing about our noisy neighbors blasting music and yelling. I called the front desk and even messaged via the app. Nothing! Let's talk sound first. I had to unplug the mini fridge upon arriving to my room because it rattled so loudly and drove me nuts. The walls are paper thin; I could hear my one neighbors television all night, even with earplugs in, and the other neighbors loudly 'doing the dirty' both at night and in the morning. The floor is peeling in the bathroom, which kind of grossed me out. The staff are friendly and the lobby has a cool area to hangout in the evenings. I do wish they had an area for morning coffee orders instead of the for-sale drip, and, LBH, the room keurigs never cut it! Wow! This is the first time I've stayed at such a modern and up to date hotel. I've recently stayed at Aloft and had some doubts about it having just a 3 star Yelp rating, but I am actually very happy that I went ahead and booked a room here. Firstly, parking is free! There are no valets, no parking garage, but parking was extremely convenient. Location: The website warned that there will be noise due to construction, and when you look at photos on Google, the hotel somewhat looks like it's in the middle of nowhere with construction sites surrounding the entire building. This doesn't make for a nice view, but the good thing was that since we stayed on the weekend, there was no construction going on at all. Peace and quiet. Right across the parking lot is a convenient plaza with Tandoori Pizza and Q Tea for boba and snacks. The lobby is very hip with a pool table, jenga, various board games, and a bar. Though when we arrived on a Friday evening, there must have been a party being held in the bar area because it was extremely busy, making the lobby a very tight space. There was only 1 person working the front desk and once we checked in, a large line formed behind us. The bar: The website lists the hours for the bar which the website claims you can enjoy live music and small dinner plates, but when we went down to the lobby on Saturday, it wasn't open. Breakfast is not complimentary, but I did see some reviews where you could order breakfast on the large touch screen in the lobby, but that screen wasn't working. The room: I was content with our room with a king sized bed. It doesn't have a tradition office desk and office chair like older hotels do, but a corner couch with a table you can move around. There is no clock at all in the room, but I'm always used to turning over to the bed side table to check the time. What's weird about the bathroom is that the door to the shower and toilet is a sliding door that doesn't close all the way, so there's a large gap when you're in there. There is also no vent and no light switch in the bathroom, you have to turn on the entire hallway light, which controls the lighting in the bathroom. Things I really enjoyed: The TV lets you watch YouTube, HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime video (you have to log into your subscription) but it was convenient to have those options rather than basic cable. Gym, heated pool, and hot tub. We used these amenities each day and the heated pool was the best. read more

I was here for four days and found the ambiance and atmosphere quite charming especially the lobby with board games and neon. See pictures for various art/wall details. I was a huge fan of the sliding door to the bathroom which was practical and sleek. Food and Drink was 3 or 4. The lobby was often lively. As though it was rented out like a function room for events throughout the weekend. The outdoor seating was also lovely with a fire pit to watch TV from, but here are a few roadblocks for a good review: :(: Inconsistent cleanliness: There was a pool bench with trash that stayed the full duration of the four days I was there. :(: Mediocre staff. There were instances upon using the gym that the staff would look into the gym and stay looking while I and my friend were working out. :(: Poor soundproofing in general. Can hear what's going on in the bathroom from your bed. No protection for my sleeping ears from my drunk neighbors. Unpredictable automatic behavior of AC in the middle of the night. There were neighbors that we had who weren't really at the hotel for sleeping, and so this place may have been worth it for those kinds of guests. A plus to this place was location being near the center of Dublin near Bart and the freeway, but also nestled in residential. My friend was there for graduations from Las Positas, and from this hotel is easy access to the freeway as well as surface streets that could end up in Livermore. It was tough to review this spot... Quite mixed, but unique. Perhaps some improvements could take it to 4 stars, though the general facility felt like it could be 5 stars for functionality. read more

A new ALoft hotel (part of the Marriott group) in booming Dublin-Pleasanton. We stayed for two nights on memorial day weekend. We had a king room on the third floor. The room featured a large space with ample room to spread out, a small sitting area and lots of windows. As a newer hotel it was equipped with all the latest USB charging ports bedside and a sleek modern design. There was ample free parking and the location near the freeway was good as a base for wine tasting and exploring the area. I found the bed comfortable but I like the firm beds and the AC did a good job keeping things cool but was the noisy older style unit (but at least controlled by a thermostat). The super low flow shower head in the small bathroom was an annoyance but with the water situation in California something I've come to expect. read more

I hated this hotel. I had the unfortunate experience of having to stay here while traveling to our Livermore Plant for work. They 'pitch' themselves as a business traveler hotel but the refrigerators in the room break, they only have 1 microwave per floor, offer 3 hangers, has no desk, has no complimentary breakfast, and their store really has no meals. I lost $60 worth of food when my room's refrigerator broke down - they offered nothing as a compensation even though I could easily show that the refrigerator was (still) broken and filled with food. I had to purchase a fold-able table/chair so I could conduct work in my room. The air conditioner would shut off most nights waking me up because my room was hot. The water coming out of the sink is not clear. For the price of the rooms the hotel needs repairs, cleaning, and deep cleaning in the rooms, in the ice/microwave room, and in the lobby area. The outdoor games by the pool where missing. The room service robot they pitch still requires you calling the front desk which could take several attempts to get through. Cell Phone service sucks in the rooms so if you are trying to use a hotspot for security it is spotty, I had to use my VPN and hope for the best using their Hotel Wi-Fi. Moreover, my car was damaged in their parking lot. Lastly, while there was 1 nice employee and 1 nice bartender, most of my experiences were dealing with the rudest staff I have every experienced including a rude evening manager. All in all - hated, hated, hated staying here. HATED IT. read more

I spent several days in the hospital and when I tried to see if they would at least refund me half my money they said no. I ended up getting refunds from my flight and rental car. This is the newest hotel in Pleasanton, CA - and it is GREAT! The lobby and staff are spot on - the design is modern and clean. ALL of the staff that I have interacted with are friendly, courteous, and efficient. They go out of their way to help and support their guests. The rooms are clean and smoke-free. The perfect hotel for a business or leisure traveler. They also have a restaurant and a full-service bar. Another cool and unique thing they have is this super cool robot who will deliver items you ask for - a robe, more towels, etc. Aloft is way ahead of the curve. We booked a room for the weekend Friday to Sunday for a wedding and the headache it too just made it frustrating. We were charged for 2 rooms but only reserved one and getting our money reversed was a huge run around, we ended up getting a refund for the extra charge and the next day we were recharged for the second room again and were told to call this company and that company (it was just too much). We finally ended up getting it all settled and were told we would be upgraded for the hassle. Upon arrival there was no upgrade available. The room was really basic. We did like that they had a bar, allowed for us to have an area to chill pre wedding. read more

We have been coming here for about 2 years now almost every weekend and the front desk ladies are always extremely accommodating to our early check in. Ramika who was working the front desk on 5/24 did not try to help us at all she did not even ask for name or look me up. She told me check in 30 min then she said no and said another hour. We survived the September 2022 Bay Area Hellpocalypse thanks to Aloft Dublin-Pleasanton and their reasonable rates and well-air conditioned rooms! After 4 days of trying to grin and bear it without AC through the worst heatwave California has ever experienced, the husband and I threw in the towel and booked 4 nights at Aloft to try to ride out the rest of this weather with some comfort. This review isn't about the hip Aloft esthetic, the great lobby bar, the modern and clean rooms, or even the complimentary Alexa hub in the rooms that controls lights, music, news reports, or knock knock jokes. Nope, this is just a review of the air conditioning! This bish doesn't fool around. We walked in from a 106°F afternoon to our room, immediately dialed the temp down to 65°F, and it was as if the Night King summoned his frost from north of The Wall. What a blessing it is to live in a world where we can have the resources to escape the worst that climate change throws at us, leave our sweltering home, check into an Aloft, crank the AC, and then put on extra layers of clothing and dive under every blanket available in order to stay warm. Are we contributing to more climate change? Absolutely. Will we do this again if hell opens up shop again in California? You bet your ass! Stay at Aloft. You won't regret it. read more

Do not stay here!!!! Horrible and got sick!!! 1) This is the water that came out of our hotel room sink and shower! It wasn't even clear! I had to go out to the grocery store, and buy water bottles to brush my teeth!!! I didn't even want to shower anymore during my stay. 2) Cheap Bottled water and professionalism: They offer 2 free Costco water bottles the first night i of your stay. I was unaware of that until I called front desk, and he was so unprofessional. He said " didn't you get water bottles the first night if not, get your own water bottles from now on . " Wow!!!!!!! This is part of Marriott?!!! What a bad taste in my mouth!!!! I will never stay at aloft again. 3) The hard wood floors and air circulation was dusty and filthy. It is very hot over there. I had to use the ac. In the morning, I saw the dust circulating in the air. It didn't hit me until after I checked out. Back in town for a couple of evenings to attend a concert I had purchased tickets for before I moved out of state. Picked here to crash. I arrived late and was exhausted and I must have looked the part because they upgraded me to a suite. It was HUGE! Everything was clean other than the rugs. Cute decor. My room was quiet, I only heard the person above me once. My 22 year old daughter stayed with me the second day and upon entering the room was like WOW! My only complaint would be the sheets and towels. The bed looked inviting but the sheets were like sleeping with sandpaper. Towels after taking a shower, same thing. Located right off the 580. The parking lot has plenty of space and has electric vehicle charging stations. Bed was super comfy nice pillows and a very clean, hip decor vibe. They have dry bar toiletries now which is a plus although I will miss the bliss products. Only down side in the shower the shower head was placed abnormally tall. I think it was a builder mistake or just expecting very tall patrons. I have to say the internet and functionality of the tv in the room was amazing. Having the ability to stream, STARZ, Netflix, HBO max and Amazon Prime was a plus, even though just stopped over for 1 night. Will most likely if need to stay in the area again book this hotel. In terms of decor, atmosphere, and ambiance, this is hands down, the coolest hotel I've ever stayed in. Pros: Bright, attractive, colorful, modern hotel Plenty of parking Across the street from a shopping center with a handful of restaurants A short drive from bars, restaurants, a movie theater, and Stoneridge Mall Amanda at the front desk was absolutely awesome. She made me feel so welcome and make sure I had everything I needed. She even saved my life with chocolate. The small pantry has lots of generic, organic sweets that I've never heard of and sometimes you just don't want to take that chance. Amanda managed to rustle up some brand-name goodies for me and I tell you I have never been happier to see chocolate in my life! Thanks Amanda! There is a large digital kiosk where guests can order breakfast in the lobby. I chose a breakfast bowl with quinoa, brown rice, avocado, cheese, and poached egg. While it was good, the portion size was definitely smaller in the picture and it was not filling at all. I was hungry an hour later. :( Nadine (front desk) went out of her way to find me more quiet and suitable accommodations after the guests above me kept me up all night. Even though it was the middle of the night, she was able to figure out the source of the noise, address it, and later the next day she had a brand new room ready for me. There's Halo Top ice cream in the pantry! There are refrigerators in every room, as well as one microwave on every floor, in the room where the ice machine is housed. Chic, colorful minimalist, cleverly decorated rooms loaded with personality. Abstract art murals on the walls, comic strip throw pillows, and seemingly innocuous window shades that, upon closer inspection are covered with hundreds of tiny numbers. Instead of a closet, there's a small rack for guests to hang clothes and place shoes. The hotel carries the Bliss toiletry line, and even has Bliss shower gel and shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower. The washcloths and towels are the perfect balance of plush and firm. The hotel has a robot that delivers items to guests rooms. It's like something out of the Jetsons. So cool! The hotel also offers its own version of Alexa and allows guests to make requests there. The hotel has a swimming pool, as well as a fitness center, but if you use the fitness center, I would bring my own wipes to wipe down the equipment because the wipes they provide are barely damp, so I'm not sure how much antibacterial solution is actually getting on those machines. The wxyz Lounge on the main floor is a great place to have a drink and a snack and just hang out for a while. There are all kinds of board games, an assortment of books, a pool table, a few TVs, and great bartenders who make amazing drinks and offer even better conversation. Cons: Welcome gifts are not the best. I received a coupon for one free breakfast and one cocktail voucher (but only on my first visit). As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I'm accustomed to hotels offering free breakfast for every day of my stay, as well as at least one drink voucher every time I stay at a property. No Concierge Lounge. No complimentary breakfast or afternoon/evening snacks. The aforementioned generic, organic candies and treats. No skirt/slack hangers in the room. Only regular wire hangers. The acoustics in these rooms are not the best. I could hear toilets flushing next door as well as hear/feel heavy footsteps pacing above and beside me late at night. I can sometimes hear the TVs in neighboring rooms. Also, the hotel doors slam loudly. Top floor rooms are highly recommended if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, but it won't prevent hearing footsteps next door or door slamming. While the shower pressure is decent, the showerhead is so high on the wall that is difficult to adjust (and I'm 5'7). And with no hand held shower nozzle, rinsing off take a little longer than I would like. Was informed that my room was being upgraded on my next stay only to arrive and find that that was not the case (because someone had booked the suite. That's fine, but don't offer what you're not sure you can deliver.) The hotel decided to throw an all-out bash (complete with the DJ) on a Tuesday night. As a result, all of us with rooms overlooking the pool/patio, we subjected to the loud bass thumping through the windows and walls... which definitely ruined any hope I had of going to bed early that night. (and I'd been up since 3:30 that morning, so I was definitely looking forward to sleep). From what I was told, there were multiple complaints from guests, and the police were even called to address the noise. That was incredibly irresponsible of the hotel, and whomever authorized the event. If they plan to have events like this in the future, then the windows of the rooms overlooking the pool and hotel need to be a lot thicker. Not everybody comes to this hotel to party... especially on a weeknight. read more

This is one of Marriott's "hip' properties. That includes an expansive lobby, bar, (WXYZ) and outdoor areas, interesting no-closet hangers/mirror and sitting area in the loft, and a robot room service delivery service. I I previously stayed at their Portland Airport property and enjoyed the comfortable bed and nice shower. My stay here did not disappoint that way, plus the mid-week rate was very reasonable. The Marriott Bonvoy points also helped. Yet, for a couples stay (me and Gayle), the King room seemed a little small in terms of common hang out space. Maybe in Pre-COVID times with a bustling lobby/bar area, that's the point. But in "lockdown" mode, there's obviously a different dynamic. As for staying in a Hotel in a Purple classified Bay Area, there remained some nice comforts, starting with a small, but roomy loft refrigerator in the room. Decent coffee was available downstairs, a selection of interesting "for purchase" food was available, and the bar was open for takeout. Outside the building was ample parking, easy in and out access, and a small park next door for a nice walk. read more

stayed here for 1 night with my daughter. it's a fairly new hotel. it was nice and clean. the room is modern looking. the dining table and the sofa in the room is a nice touch. the tv with lots of stations to watch is good. i use tv to let me fall asleep. the only thing is the shower leaks into the bathroom floor although there is a towel to step on. breakfast was included although it was not a buffet breakfast which we were looking forward. it was by order. and then jean from front desk helped us with our breakfast and accommodated us with our questions. thanks jean for your help! such a good and nice receptionist. might come back again. just hoping that they will bring back the breakfast buffet!!! read more
