I booked this via Viator, which was super easy to do. We originally booked the 6 a.m. tour, but the day before, they said the 6 a.m. tour was no longer available and changed our time to 10:30 a.m. When we got there at 10:20, it turned out the actual leave time was 11, which I felt should've been more up front about. as we had to wait for a bit of time before we left. The bus ride there was great as our guide was able to share many things with us in the surrounding area. It was also cool to cross state lines to Arizona and even have a time difference change. The actual ATV itself was maybe an hour long, which I wish it was a bit longer. This is my third ATV tour in the last year and I have to say that, I don't know if its because the group we went with was more experienced riders, but they rode so fast. So fast in fact that I fell off the ATV and tumbled onto the ground. I did appreciate that they had me riding up in the front and slowed down the pace a lot more, but I wish it was a bit slower so I could actually enjoy the desert views a bit more. I also thought the 10 minute break for pictures was not super necessary, 3 minutes would have been enough. Overall, great ATV tour when in Las Vegas. I would recommend not booking this place if this is your first time riding an ATV and are a bit nervous about the pace. Came here since my friend visiting wanted to do an atv tour. We didn't have a lot of time so we picked the Las Vegas dune tour. The payment was kind of annoying since they ask you to send your ID for confirmation. The day prior, we got a text on instructions for the day and it was clear so we parked at Mandalay Bay. It said we need to be there no later than 9am but we waited a long time to sign waivers and actually get on the van to go to the atv site. Total time was probably 3.5 hrs and not 2-2.5 hrs like I was told when I was booking it because of all the wait. It was a thirty minute van ride from the strip Meetup point to the atv site and we were taught to drive the atv and Kobe was a great guide. Straight to the point. We did two test rounds and then went on the road. I have a very short thumb and so it was kind of tiring for my hands to drive the atv. But otherwise it was kind of fun. I was invited on this tour by family that was visiting with a group of friends and decided to tag along. We did the Nellis Dune tour. This was a single file ride over a trail and you are subject to the pace of the slowest driver. There was a brief break halfway through the 1hr ride. I would have enjoyed a faster pace and some off trail time. It wasn't bad, just geared more towards a first time rider. Pros: They have a location on the strip and round trip transportation is included. Van has good AC, safety gear was provided and water is available. Logan was our tour guide and he was pretty friendly and made an effort to chat with the group. He also took some photos of our group as well as others in the tour. He provided a quick, informative safety intro and tried fo maximize our riding time. Cons: I received a text confirming my payment card and ID, After that, nothing. No email or texts. We booked under a group name, so perhaps only that one person got texts. Fortunately the group told me where to go and what time. Upon arrival I was charged $20 cash only for parking, then rudely told it was in the text so I should have been prepared. Check in was a bit chaotic with many people needing to sign waivers and only 2 tablets available for everyone to sign lengthy waivers. All ATVs were extremely muddy from recent rain but could have been hosed off the day prior, even if only the seats. There are extra fees for everything, so don't get hurt or become sick. Also the tour guide tells you on the way back that they work for tips only so you feel obligated to tip more than may have based on service. Overall I did have fun, but I would be hesitant to book with this company again because of the lack of communication and fees. read more

Found an offer on Groupon for a 4 hour ATV ride. The staff were efficient in setting up the appointment. Once we arrived to the pick up location, our guide was Kenny. Kenny was the best!!! In our group, it was 3 women (including myself) and the rest were guys. Our group was great. Kenny was 1) a great tour guide on the ride to the location, 2) very knowledgeable about Vegas, and 3) very intentional with making sure we had a positive experience. As it was my and my friend's first time riding ATV's Kenny kept me right behind him. He was patient, humorous, and helped to build my confidence. This was such an amazing experience!!! Kenny told me I kept the group up to about 30 mph! The course itself was widespread, flat with minimal wild turns and angles. Enough for starters. I have discovered a new love of riding ATV's and will definitely do it again when I come back to Vegas for a visit and plan to search for places to do it near home. read more

Hands down one of the best guided tours I've been on! Our tour guide Vic was amazing! This was my first time getting on an ATV and he was extremely patient with me and a few other people. Warning it was extremely hot it's wise to not drink any alcohol but do drink Gatorade or any of hydration liquids. Pants are a must as well as covered shoes because that sand kicks up into a cloud. Transportation is provided to the area with the ATV's. Water is also provided and they don't mind you filling up and staying hydrated. The views of the mountains were a nice touch as well. I used to work for this company and frankly the only tour I would consider recommending is the longest, most expensive one that takes you to the Colorado River. That tour is fun and includes great scenery and a swim. It's the only one I believe you get your money's worth out of. The shorter options really suck - if you didn't have a good time it wasn't a fluke. The constant customer complaints and disappointment is the reason I left, among other things. Guides want you to have a fun time but there are a litany of rules constantly crammed down their throats that they must follow if they want to keep their jobs. What I'm about to say, for the most part, refers to these tours (Mohave and Nellis as of the time I worked there). Most guides will likely be extremely strict on what you're allowed to do (must ride slow, stay in line, can't slow down and speed up, do not pass, etc) not because they want to be (they don't), but because they will be chewed out or fired if they aren't. The owner cares about moving people through the gates - getting them in and out as quickly as possible, not about them having a good time. You'll ride through a flat, dried out wash in the desert at no more than 15 mph. The slowest person in the (often large - up to 18 or more people) group will ride in front and set the pace. There won't be much in the way of scenery except for mountains in the distance, similar to the way they are in Las Vegas itself. People often believe this tour is near the Strip - it's not. Instead it's nearly an hour drive to Arizona or a slightly shorter drive to the less common Nellis tour near the Air Force Base. You'll be equipped with worn out, dusty goggles that are often difficult to see through and will be provided a short water break halfway through. During much of my time the company purposely stayed extremely overbooked, and because of this tours were often running late and vans were constantly filled to capacity (during Covid). Several of the vans didn't have functioning air conditioning so a hot 2-hour round-trip ride was expected. It wasn't unusual to arrive and stand around for an hour waiting on available ATV's. Guides literally had to fight to get their groups on bikes because there are not enough to go around for the number of people the company had booked. In my experience many of the guides did not have proper (or any) training in First-Aid so I would recommend not getting hurt. If you bust a headlight on a bike (extremely common) it will cost you several hundred dollars to repair and you will not be given a ride back to Vegas until it's paid. Flip a bike (not uncommon either) and it's several thousand. I have a theory that the only reason these bikes have lights is so people can bust them out and make the owner more money, but that I can neither confirm nor deny. All I know is there are no night tours requiring headlights, although they may be legally required. Expect the majority of people on your tour to be high and/or drunk. If you have a large group and are asked to add a gratuity to your bill do not do it - the owner will take a large sum (I believe 50%) and pocket it himself, which is absolutely ridiculous. If you did have a good time tip your guide with cash. All that being said people can and do have good times on these trips, apparently, based on some of these reviews. However, everything I stated I saw first hand on a very regular basis through the busy season (summer). If you do ultimately decide to book with this company I would highly recommend the Colorado River Tour over the shorter, less expensive ones. It's a much higher quality tour overall, with more experienced guides and much better scenery. Many of the things things Ive stated don't apply to that tour, although some still do. Ultimately make sure you can make it for the length of your tour in the desert. Many people attempt to "tap out" halfway through due to heat exhaustion and only find the will-power to continue once they're informed of the $200-500 fee it will cost for them to be picked up. I've read a lot of complaining here about the people in the office answering phones and booking trips. Let me assure you those people are working hard doing the best they can under very stressful circumstances. If they are not able to help you it's not because they don't want to - it's because they're not allowed to and there is no use in trying as they deal with the same issues every day. Everyone at this company is on a short lease and would do things differently if it were their call to make. read more

After waiting till the last minute to book an ATV Trip all of them were sold out online. We came across this company advertising on the strip at CVS and they booked everything for us. We got picked up at our hotel and drove around the strip area to pick up the rest of the group. Then it was about 45 minutes to where we started the ATV tour. Ricardo and Marc gave us an amazing experience. We actually got to do some pretty cool terrain at a decent pace! It was a BLAST! Be prepared to get DUSTY!!! Bring a bandana with you if you dont feel like paying $10 for one at their shop. After the ride they even have a slop sink for you to wash up! Then you head ovee to the resturant for burgers fries and a soda: it was really good. Apparently for like $60 they have a longer tour that stops at the Hover Dam, is a longer ATV ride and they also stop for a swim in the Colorado River. (I wish we had paid more attention when booking bc this tour DEF would have been ever MORE amazing!!) All in all I HIGHLY reccomend this tour! read more

UNSAFE AND UNFUN. Just know they charge you an additional $200.00 if you get BADLY INJURED and can no longer drive the ATV. To begin, my friend's ATV kept turning off on her during the practice trial and she brought it to one of the employees' attention which he brushed off and told her it was normal. Then about 15 mins into the tour her ATV had some complications and it ended with her two side wheels riding up on the side of a giant rock wall causing the ATV to FALL ON TOP OF HER. She did hit her head on the ground and ended up with a swollen/bruised fractured arm and leg. She was coming in and out of consciousness the entire time and was too much in shock to fully speak. I stood next to her and the employee kept trying to make her admit and change the story so they would not be at fault knowing she was not in the right state of mind. NO First Aid kit was given to her either. The only "medical attention" they were going to offer her was going to cost over $2500 for a helicopter ride to the hospital. They were also going to charge me $200.00 to go back with her even though I was stable enough to go back on my own. All they care about is taking your MONEY, do not fall for it as 12 other people witnessed how awful they handled this situation. I even heard two employees talking about how they were going to receive lots of angry calls from people wanting their money back and how they had to just calm them down but there were no refunds. When we returned back to the drop off location, they charged us the $200.00 for my friend's injury and on top of that we heard another employee say my friend's injury "wasn't that bad" because there was an accident before ours where the man's leg bone POPPED OUT. We weren't even given copies of the Incident report either but I was able to take pictures with my phone which I later clearly read where the employee SWITCHED the witness words into saying my friend "refused" medical attention and that the ATV fell beside her not ON HER. If I could give this your/ company zero stars I would . Looking back I'm not even really sure why my friends and I got on the atv's . Probably the only positive is they pick you up on the strip and provide water . They have you sign a waiver while you ride in the van . This waiver has several grammatical errors and basically states no matter what happens they are not liable for anything . We had a pretty big group with us, I would say 13 . Getting us ready to go took FOREVER , so much lollygagging and the team just didn't seem to know what they were doing . Very very unorganized . Once on atvs we were given a very quick lesson on how to ride and what to expect . Our tour guide was trying to be funny the whole time , " if you see someone stuck go by them , wave and laugh." " accidents happen OFTEN so please follow the rules . Those are all quotes from our guide. Once started we all trailed in a line , at one point my friend and I were pretty far behind, due to being nervous. They didn't care they just kept going , I got stuck and tipped and had to help myself . Here is the kicker ... a girl in our group ended up falling off hers and the tire went over her foot , onto a rock . I got off my atv and the guide was on the phone and seemed very very flustered. My friend had the girls bloody foot in her hand asking for first aid . I jumped in to help, we are both first aid certified . We kept asking for first aid and none of the guys had a clue . We ended up with one wrap ONE . There was no gauze , no sanitizer , bandages etc . We ended up using water and germ x to wash the wound and our hands . We wrapped her bloody , meat exposed foot as best we could . She ended up passing out and again they had no clue what to do . We helped get her in the buggy . All the girls in our group were scared and done with the tour after this . A new guy came out to "continue" the tour , he was very persistent and rude . " you paid for the tour , so I'm going to give you a tour ." Ummm no , I already stated I was DONE , take me back . They were just concerned we wanted our money back. We finally make it back and the girl is still sitting in the middle of the desert waiting for an ambulance they called . We then had to sit in the van for probs another 45 min for the rest of the group to finish the tour. Just got off the phone with Erica and she lied to me, contradicted herself, and provided incredibly poor customer service. She informed me there she does not have the authority to help me and she would not escalate my issue to her supervisor because she is too busy today. Doesn't even deserve a star! Horrible experience and extremely rude and unprofessional guide. "KIMMIE" was a horrible guide and should not be doing that job. She ruined our group's whole experience and took the fun out of it. She has no people skills and is very impatient. It's very unfortunate because we were looking forward to this experience since it was our first time. When I called to make this reservation, I was assured that they accommodate beginners and there was nothing to be worried about. THAT WAS A LIE. First of, Kimmie was late and the last tour guide to arrive at the pick up spot. Once we arrived at the location, we got a very brief orientation and had to do a practice run before we headed out to the desert. Our group ended up in the back so we were the last to be shown how to operate the atv by another guide that was assisting. The rest of the group had already started the practice and were waiting for us. Being the first time doing this, it took a few extra minutes to get comfortable with the atv. My friend was the last one and was having trouble in the beginning getting used to the atv as well, and she went slightly of track and Kimmie, the guide started yelling at her to get back on track. Just unprofessional. So when we completed the practice, we set out to the trail but the guide was riding fast and we couldn't keep up, which made her angry and she started yelling stating she would have to cancel our ride if we continued to lag behind of which it would cost us another $200/each. The thing is, we were not riding that slow, it just wasn't the pace she wanted because she wanted to accommodate others who wanted to go faster. I reminded her we had never done this before and I was assured during the booking that we would not be rushed during this tour and/or expected to ride like an experienced rider. She didn't care and she just yelled threats of our group being sent back if it continued. One of my friends chose to not continue. Eventually, they moved me to ride behind her and I was able to keep up with her pace but I didn't enjoy it at all. It felt rushed because she rode fast and I was more focused on not falling off the atv than enjoying the trail. We stopped abruptly at some point because there was an incident. Being in the front I didn't know what was going on because all she said was we could take pictures if we wanted to since someone was "off" her atv. I later found out that someone in my group that was at the back fell off the atv on a curvy part of the trail. Fortunately, she didn't have a major injury. Kimmie didn't seem to care one bit. The thing is they shouldn't advertise that they're beginner friendly if they won't accommodate beginners. Kimmie should definitely not be a tour guide because she's unprofessional, very impatient and rude. We did the full tour today and we had a blast. You receive full instructions on how to ride and operate the ATV. You learn hand signals as well to be aware of things on the route. I was a little fearful at first but Manny and Anthony definitely made sure I was ok. Mike and Anthony i thank you for leading us on the 2nd hour ride. You both were great. The track was fun and challenging in spots but we all were cool. We were in great hands. If you are looking to ride an ATV while in Vegas, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you call LAS VEGAS ATV TOURS. I have done every single ATV tour including your Colorado River tour in Vegas. All the other tours were very good except this one. We did not have 1.5 hours on the tour and Roberto confirmed it by saying it was an hour. He was very late in picking me up. He did apologized and blamed it on a guest not being in the right pick up spot. Later he mentioned he was late because of traffic. Not sure which to believe? When I called and made a reservation, I was told I could not be picked up at the Plaza and it had to be the Nugget. No problem. It was quick walk. When I called to see where my driver was, the person on the phone asked me if I at the Plaza or Nugget. Interesting how I was given a choice! Another thing that bothered me is when Ricardo explained to the whole group, on the way back to our hotel, that the guides do not get a salary or get paid hourly. They rely on tips. As a customer, this put us in a weird position that we should not be in. You are quilting the customers to pay the guides and taking that choice away. I been on many many ATV tours and not one guide mentioned I am responsible for paying their living expenses. Not professional at all. The tour should be promoted as a beginning tour. This tour is great for people that have never been on an ATV. The terrain was flat with a few little hills to go up on. Speed 15 miles an hour. The information about the tour should be truthful and mentioned on your site. Explain the level experience that is needed. If that was the case, I would not have wasted my time or money on this tour. It was very boring. Also, you said 1.5 hours. All of us were screwed out of 1/2 hour. This should also reflect the price. Seeing the Colorado River, Lake Mead, and the overpass at the Hoover Dam were all really memorable experiences that I will remember from my Vegas trip. The ATV were easy to ride and in good repair. I had never driven an ATV before and the staff was patient and let customers ride at their own pace. The guide, Joe Gleason, was knowledgeable, friendly, well prepared, and thoughtful. He gave us great tips for things to do in the area, was prompt for his pickup, and was very professional. The burger at the rest stop was very very good. It hits the spot after a long day driving in the desert. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was the gun portion. 1/5 for Overall Experience. Would NOT recommend. Pros -Open during pandemic. However, they also cram 15 people into a single van (side by side) to a location 20 minutes away. Let's hope no one in your van has COVID. Cons -FALSE ADVERTISEMENT: Tickets on Groupon cost the SAME as tickets on their website. Buyers beware, if you buy on Groupon they'll ask for an extra $20 cash before you get in the van -TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: After booking my tickets, I received an email that said I would be "emailed, texted, or called" the day before my reservation to confirm my pickup location. I was not emailed, texted, or called at all. I called the night before and the morning of to confirm the pickup time and both times the women on the phone said they would send me a new text with an exact pickup location and time. Neither of them did. Not only that but the front desk women were rude and dismissive. -BORING: Each group ~15 people drives in a single file lane through the desert with absolutely no view. The speed is determined by the slowest person in the group. In my case, we ATV'd for 40 minutes TOTAL going an average of 5-10 mph. When I tried to slow down and speed up to the person in front of me (boomerang) or swerve along the path, I was told to cut it out immediately or be forced to return to the van. -BUZZKILL: Tour guide John seemed like a nice guy but was extremely strict. On the drive up, he spent 15 minutes lecturing us about all the things not to do and all the ways we could get fined. Yes, we get it. ATV'ing can be dangerous, but no one wants to hear about the $45,000 helicopter lift to a hospital 3 hours away or that we'll be charged an extra $200 for every scratch on the ATV. We were very excited to take this tour, prior to booking the first question/statement i had for the booking agent was. I have a flight at 735 today will we be back in time for the flight? If not no problem we just won't book this tour not a problem. They insisted and ranted and raved oh ya we will have you back at the hotel at 5pm at the latest. So having heard that i booked. Once we got out to the location it already seemed we were behind on time, we got a mile and a half into the tour and one of the other clients started panicking stopping the whole tour. This caused the whole tour to have to go back in and start over. By this point i realized we would be risking missing the flight now if we continued. I kindly voiced my concerns to the tour guide Ricardo, who might i add was amazing! He told me he's just the guide and i would have to talk to his boss Richard. So we called Richard and relayed my concerns. I stated to Richard that i just wanted my money back because we could not do the tour and i would get my own transportation back to Las Vegas. Richard then started with the excuses of how this isn't his fault. I stated to him that the only reason i booked was due to the assurance of the time frame given. We got back to the staging area where i was forced to make a quick decision and was unable to go back out on the tour due to the scheduled flight. Richard then became very rude,unprofessional and outright nasty. I kindly stated again to Richard to please return my money as i did not get to use the services, he kept going with excuses. I then told him if he left me no choice I would just contact American Express and dispute the charge. Still giving him the chance to make right on the situation as a fellow business owner nobody wants charegbacks against them. He then nastily said FINE I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR DAMN MONEY BACK. I thanked Richard and asked him to please send me a confirmation email, when i did so Richard became enraged and started yelling saying no tomorrow none of the girls from reservations are here. Meanwhile 2 miniutes prior i was speaking to the girl who took my initial reservation and charged me and made all the promises. When i brought that up Richard became even more angry and starting cursing and yelling. It is now July 6th and i have no refund, no email no anything. This tour was on July 2nd. So quick to charge but yet nothing when it comes to customer service. Richard should not be in a business dealing with costumers as he is very unprofessional, not understanding and rude! DO NOT book here. I booked a 7:00AM reservation for a group of 4. We were all so excited to go on this your but when we arrived they had moved our reservation to 5:30AM with no contact. They were incredibly rude, hostile and blamed US even though they booked over our reservation. They are a fraudulent company. read more

I have called several times during office hours. I have left a VM without a return call back. I was lucky enough to have someone answer the phone and put me on hold without even saying hello. Hung up after 4 minutes on hold and got the VM again. I was trying to book a tour for 13 people but I guess this is my lucky sign letting me know not to use them. read more

I have gone ATV several times. This was first time to ATV in Vegas. There isn't an actual office so you have to call to get picked up. Staff was friendly helpful and answered questions. We reserved with no issues. The pick up was timely. He was well articulated and friendly. We arrived at the location of Atvs in a reasonable time. Staff was organized. Timing and instructions were on point. Staff were very informative to guide us for our time. We paid for extra tine. Pricing for the extra time to run was more than worth it. Good well guided friendly staff. Bad not as much freedom as other Atvs I have rented. I would come back. read more

This experience definitely made my trip!! it was my first time 4 wheeling and i'm already ready for seconds!! From our pick up with Liz she was prompt, friendly and very informative, to once we arrived to the others Spencer was our guide and he was AWESOME!! We probably had the best group!! I started off a little scared and didn't think I could go up and down the steep hills however once i got comfortable it was soo much fun!!
