Great store for golf clubs, be they new or used. They have a HUGE selection, including women's clubs. And their set of golf bags is ridiculously huge as well. I was looking for golf shoes. For shoes, the PGA Superstore has a better selection, especially women's shoes. We went around 6 so no one checked on us, which was kinda nice. This is the first place I went after landing in Vegas. As an avid golfer, I've always wanted to visit LVGS. They have a wide selection of golf gear and apparel, but it's a little disorganized. I found a belt that I couldn't get back home. I was surprised by the friendliness of the employees. Little did I know that I would return later in the week. After unpacking my clubs in Mesquite, NV where we were playing, I noticed the club head coming off the shaft of my 8 iron. I drove back to LVGS to get the club repaired. They quickly repaired the club at a reasonable price and did it with a smile and great conversation. Kudos to the LVGS employees. read more

I saved up for months for a new set of irons and a hybrid. Walked in and wandered around the iron section.. no one approached for help. Went to the cashier and ask for help with irons and hybrid, instead of a response to me directly... she just called for an employee and looked back at her phone. So I was just standing there awkwardly while someone came to help while she was playing on her phone. Before the employee came to the front desk, I just left. Purchased my new Mizuno irons and TM hybrid at golf galaxy instead. read more

Been here a couple of times, the last time for my wife to buy some nice womens golf clothing. She absolutely gushed about the great service and 'deals' she got from the customer service folks. Once you get past the neat location (strip view) and the ostensible neighborhood golf shop feel, it now goes down hill. Recently ,I called asking if they had a few empty boxes to spare.The employee was receptive and said sure so I went down there. The employee was really cool and even went to check for specific boxes (driver size,iron size,etc) for me.. That is when this overbearing,nosy, older woman manager(?) felt compelled to step in and intercede. She was an obnoxious busy body. The poor kid working put his head down and the energy just shifted. I can't imagine working alongside this shrew. (Fortunately I slid him a tip)..She doesn't appear to be a golfer ,either..(more like a difficult school board member). A couple of other local buddies also had negative experiences with her, simple exchanges or trades and she felt the need to roar at them and low ball from the start. I then walked around to check the new gear and used area . The energy was just- off , no eye contact and assistance. Place was nearly empty . The cashier never looked up and neither did what seemed to be the manager ....The shop used to be ok, some staff and managers better than others. Furthermore, my best buddy owned/operated a golf shop for decades in SoCal with a wide range of clientele (from low income to studio execs /A List actors) and I spent countless time there. It's a very hard industry .I used to frequent the RDunns in WLA a lot,too,that place had some energy there and was always busy.. Sam the female employee/manager is combative, unprofessional, and clearly not a golfer. I've spent 13k in cash and debit payments (not counting returns, gift cards) with the Worldwide Golf Company in the last 12 months and much more in the last 25 years but this location unfortunately has an employee Sam that takes it personal when someone needs to use their 90 satisfaction guarantee on golf clubs. After excessive returns on new products a final exchange is issued subject to restocking fee or trade in value on your purchase. Totally Fair and necessary, however I was informed by Sam that if I bought 3 sets of irons for friends and family and paid cash that I would be excluded from their 90 satisfaction guarantee. Not sure why she initiated the conversation regarding this, I wasn't even trying to purchase or order a set of irons. It was unsolicited policy talk with manager discretion thrown in my face while in front of other guest. She was ravenous. This conversation was totally irrelevant to my visit and a clear attempt to have a confrontation. On my way out she boasted in front of her own staff that a guest complimented the way she handled it. Well congrats on feeling validated but really just sticking to your company's policy with built in fail safe caveat's is probably the more professional route. Part of the joy of golf culture is Walking in to a golf shop with nothing in mind to buy, and chatting with staff about their game, products, and what's coming in the next few months, then handshaking them a few bucks for lunch or whatever. . From my experience those unplanned trips to the golf store often times end up with me getting clubs regripped, balls purchased, or maybe finding a novelty putter to add to the collection. The energy in that store is much different when she has a day off. On a side note, Dave when a customer handshakes you $100 just to be nice just say thank you. Went here today at 4:00 on the recommendation of co-workers. I was greeted by a gentleman in the irons section, to whom I explained my goal. I want a quality set of clubs that will let me get back into the game after many years, while also letting me enjoy the game by being tailored to me. He suggested a pre-assembled set and informed me that they were "around $300 bucks". I let him know that I wanted something high quality from the start, in order to prevent having to upgrade in the future. He then showed me a second pre-assembled set and told me "these are about $400 bucks". I asked if I could be fit for a set that could be suited to me. He did tell me that it was an option but I would be spending $3,000. I did let him know that I was ok with that if it allowed me to get the clubs that were the best for me. He responded by telling me to look at some used sets, which was the opposite of my intentions. I looked around for thirty minutes with no other interaction. I even went to the fitting area thinking I could explain myself to a different salesperson. There were two, but they continued an interesting conversation about a former employee whom they were happy about no longer working in the store. I walked toward the exit and was asked by a cashier if I had found what I was looking for. I let her know that I had not and that I also felt that there was no willingness to assist me. She had no response. As I was walking out, she stopped me again and asked "Is there something you are looking for"? I explained my entire experience, that I felt like I was in the wrong store, and that I would visit a different shop. She then told me to "Ok, enjoy". No offer to help and no attempt to change my impression. read more

There are a few golf shops in the vegas valley. This is probably my favourite. This is a chain store, but it doesn't feel like it. Don't get me wrong it's a big store, but the vibe is nice. The staff are knowledgeable, and they seem to genuinely care about giving you good service and helping you find the right gear. They carry all the major brands and have a few brands I can't find anywhere else in town, like g-fore or the vessel bags. It's worth a stop and look for sure. read more

Hitting bays were right there next to all the used clubs. We found one for my girlfriend who is getting more into golf. She also loved the store and selection. Then when checking out the young gentleman who helped us even went the extra mile in find a head over for the club we purchased. No additional charge! Fully agree with the others who posted negative reviews. This place just has the worst vibe. I couldn't agree more about the lady with the glasses that works there that the other reviewer mentioned. She is so snobby and just seems like she does t want to be there. Nobody smiles, nobody greets you. Nobody thanks you for your purchase. The store manager is awful, he has the personality of a wall. He rang me up and I tried to make small talk to cut the awkward silence and he didn't say a word. Every time I walk out with my own clubs they just stare at me like I stole something. Create a better check in process if you think everyone is stealing. It's a shame because they have a good selection of new and used clubs. I would avoid this place if you want to be greeted helped and appreciated for your business. If the whole staff was replaced I bet they would be extremely successful. Worst mistake of my 2020 vegas trip. Parked at mgm was told by employee ot was quicker to walk. It wasn't, someone in my party is handicapped. We ed 2 hours in advance to see if they were open and if a reservation was needed. The 702 phone number goes to "sorry the mailbox is full" and then hangs up on you. Went to the front door was told I need a reservation. Explained what happened on the phone and were told too bad. Sign up on the website for a bay. Bat wait was well over 2 hours. My friends and I came out during the pandemic when I'm sure you need business and you turned us away like a smelly cat in the night. We will never return to your property. read more
