The office staff is good, but as with many medical facilities, it's not always easy to get calls returned or messages directed where they need to be. My provider got upset that I seen her colleague so they lowered my dosage on my medication that I've been on for 24 years. It's my insurance. It's up to me who I want to be my provider. It's not up to the providers. After 10 years of being in this office, I can't believe the way I've been treated.. my provider had the nerve to call me and confront me about seeing her colleague which should be up to the patient because it's my insurance. The staff was kind, caring, and extremely helpful. I was provided with a great amount of education on trauma and how it impacts substance use, the parts of the brain that are impacted by trauma and substance use, anger, depression, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and how to communicate assertively. What really makes this place great is that there are no more than 10 clients, and it is more personalized with more one-on-one counseling and in-depth process groups. Lastly, the food is amazing. Both chefs put a lot of love and effort in preparing healthy meals and snacks. This has been the most effective treatment program that I have been through, and I highly recommend it to others. The proper balance between mind and spirit is what I am seeking. The current psychiatrist that they are seeing did put them on medication. The side effects of these medicines are scary and I do not want them to be something they are on for years. Seeking new answers to current issues they are experiencing, I am hoping medication will be a second decision made. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. When I checked into their office the lobby area is very small but we are not going to sit here very long. Plus outside the office in the building that the suite is located in the lobby is huge with tables to sit at and a large tan couch if one seeks real comfort. After filling out the paperwork we were called back to the room where we would meet the doctor. The doctor who took care of us was very helpful and pleasant. Her assistant was charming as well. Feeling very comfortable the doctor and her assistant put us at ease as we discussed the twins business. The doctor informed me of what services that they offer and addressed my concerns about the medications that the twins were currently taking. They offer wonderful and caring psychiatrist here that if have too will medicate the patient, as needed per case. They evaluated the medicines they were taking. The doctor also took into consideration family history and if a diagnosis of the twins is necessary. All could not be accomplished in this visit so I will be returning for another visit, in the mean time the doctors suggestions will be applied to our lives.

We are new to Medicaid and we were seen that very next day. Now you know, as soon as they hear Medicaid, it's usually going to be booked way out! Nope. And never looked down upon us for it, I appreciate that! I look forward to being seen here as well as my daughter.
