Dr Kozmary recently gave me spinal injections which sounds scary. It is a little. However, he competed them in his own office with amazing equipment and a sterile environment. He chats along with the staff to distract and then gets it done quickly w real time X-ray. I was having post surgical problems and my right shin became numb and pain in a new location. Initially there was relief the. Swelling set in for a few days and the relief was gone. After the swelling went down my feeling came back almost entirely in my shin and the new pain was almost gone. I've had many injections in the last that never worked. I wish this would have taken care of all my other pain but I'll take it!!This one really made a difference for the underlying condition it was supposed to help. I will likely need more in the future but the few seconds of pain from the injection was worth it.

When this office called to book a last-minute cancellation slot, I jumped at the opportunity. However, the entire experience turned out to be a massive waste of time and felt entirely like a revenue grab. Despite having my referral paperwork naming a specific physician, no one on the scheduling staff bothered to inform me that the doctor no longer worked with this office. They had me fill out extensive paperwork, wait and go through a full examination with a practitioner I never requested. It wasn't until the end of the exam -when I realized the provider wasn't addressing my actual medical needs-that he informed me he specializes in Pain Management, not Physical Medicine, and that the original doctor was gone. Instead of being upfront from the start so I could find the right specialist, this office rushed me in, wasted my time, and offered me imaging and medications for a specialty I didn't even come in for. Save yourself the frustration and double-check everything before booking here-their front desk communication is abysmal and they clearly prioritize filling open appointment slots over actual patient care. I asked them do you see my requested doctor at the top of my referral? She said we get these ALL the time and we don't question it! Unbelievable, so I'm not the first, it happens often here!

I asked for an oral swab they said they don't do that! I offered a hair follical test they don't do it! But I'm in renal kidney failure and can't provide a UA for that reason and they make no concessions and say your treatment will be drastically impacted if I can't, but I haven't been able to except for one or two times a day! In all reality the doctor that graduated from college should have said I should go to the emergency room, knowing I have multiple myeloma and that's the situation. Also that I have renal kidney failure ! Make your own decisions, but even a medical malpractice lawyer could see this is negligible! Just saying! Especially after reading everything they did and didn't write in my chart and all those patients who gave me their names in the waiting room. They should have realized I wasn't alone and I was talking to those patients and the one hugged me and gave me her information! Witnesses are incredible. I never received any communication from them or a bill for the service prior to being notified I was being sent to collections. I could not find any information about this company online. They didn't have a website. I called several different phone numbers and kept being sent to someone else. I ended up needing to contact the collections agency to resolve the account, which I was hoping to avoid as I do not want a mark on my credit for a bill I was never sent. The staff at SSC were awesome from the first walk through the door to escorting me to my car after the procedures. I was the first procedure of the day. I was greeted and taken back by Wendy who was an absolute HOOT. She had me laughing and joking and so relaxed, I never gave another thought to anything negative. I was greeted by several other nurses and attendants, my doctor, the anesthetist...and each and everyone I met was pleasant, seemed happy to be there and it made me happy to be there too. I knew I was going to be in good hands. Very professional organization.
