They ran…read moreextra cable for future use where I wanted it, helped me tidy up a lot of messy wiring that was around, and did a nice job using existing can lights so the only holes that had to be cut were in the garage. They were the third low voltage/security camera company I called in Las Vegas, which I found by looking at Yelp reviews. The first company said that they don't really recommend IP cameras, which is insane. The second company said that they only do jobs where they provide the cameras, they don't work with customer provided cameras. Smart Tech was the third I called, and they came out and did a long walkthrough/discussion of the job and provided a free estimate. I think the biggest reason to recommend them is because of all the finishing details they did on all the different aspects of the project. They cut a hole in the garage for access, but they let me give them dimensions for an access panel that I would order and cover the hole with, so I didn't just have a random sized hole to deal with. They terminated all the ends of some extra ethernet cable that wasn't going to be immediately used, they ran extra cable, and a bunch of other miscellaneous extras that really improved the end result over what I would have gotten from another installer.

Some of the cameras are at 12 FPS, and I cannot adjust to a faster speed. Suggestion: Go to Best Buy and tell them what you are looking for. Another option is to go online. This is three years in the making. I tried. This business is the bottom of the barrel. I would rather give a 0 rating. The owner, Ronny, knew I was not satisfied, but he did nothing unless I forked over another $89. Whatever he says in response to this review, I'm not buying. I'm a senior. This guy duped me. Clauses like the company is not responsible for any verbal promises made by employees. The credit application is not only a credit worthiness. It can be used against future credit ratings if not fully in compliance or back out of the contract for unforeseen reasons or dissatisfaction. Watch your credit card charges you many be charged for services even as I was which can result in a credit card dispute. Do not rely on the office manager or billing clerk to correct anything you think is wrong. Above all remember you cannot rely on verbal promises it changes as much as the weather in Las Vegas. If you cancel your system, your fault their fault or not satisfied the service. Keep in mind that credit application it can be used against you in unfavorable credit reporting. He did a through floor plan agreed to my terms to keep the current system in place and have the installer check the all circuits to insure they were still active and install a new attachment to the current panel box for $99 dollar install with $49.50 up front $49.50 upon completion using my credit card. My questions was there a requirement for a credit application on the original only and why didn't appear on my copy?? Why did Brian never consult with me on the reverse side of the additional terms and conditions of the agreement. Which may have been a factor in accepting or rejecting the S&S agreement. Side didn't notice it for months after signing it with a friend point it out to me? Installer took about 20 minutes to install an attachment to the Control Panel. I pointed out all the window, movement and door circuits, inside screamer. outside bell which notifies neighbors since it my be ancient to the young installer. I request a new battery for the control panel, and couldn't remember the last it was replaced and didn't want a communication breakdown!! I was told by the installer that the office manager/billing clerk it was $59 plus tax which had to be paid upon install??? Why would a battery be charged against a if a completing new system for $99 same billing clerk charge $199 for install to my credit card Disputed with credit card company had one other isse with another credit on the account Is currently inactive with a new credit card pending. Issue of a password, some how after checks of the system technician set up the security password to this system not Brian, with in Bold Letter Attention is directed to Conditions on the Reverse Side and had me back date it 3/4/2026. More than a questionable business practice!!! I am awaiting a response from your company with a detailed explanations of each of your business practices. No accredation with the Better Business Bureau and which can be referred to the AARP Nevada stop Scams and Fraud hot hotline!
