We were not staying at Las Ventanas but we dined at their Italian Restaurant called Alebrije. Since they don't have their own Yelp page, I'll submit a review for it on the resort page. The moment we stepped onto the resort property, I thought it was stunning. The views and decor to the stairs and down to the restaurant are beautiful. We were greeted by several staff members along the way who were very friendly. When we reached the stairs to Alebrije, we were greeted by the lovely hostess Fernanda, who escorted us to our table. The table was on the upper patio just off center looking at the water. There were two acoustic guitarists playing popular music while everyone dined. They were so talented. We really enjoyed their music. We had a team of people attending to us so we were never left waiting for service. Our server Samuel was so pleasant and went over the menu very thoroughly. When we asked about something on the menu, he dove deep into the details of each dish. He was very informative. We brought our own wine and were told it was a $50 corkage fee for each bottle. I've never paid that much anywhere domestic or international travels so it was shocking. Since it was a special occasion and very special wine we brought from the states, we went ahead and opened the bottles. Our sommelier....I found her pleasant enough but she was very persistent about something with our friend and kept pushing him and making side remarks when he said no. If a guest says no to something, she should have let it go but she didn't and kept insisting. Unfortunately that set the tone for an uncomfortable dinner setting for a brief time. We were brought bread under a smoke dome. It was warm and delicious. Following was a small piece of beef tartare over a potato. Tasty. I ordered the Lasagna which was cheesy delicious, it was served in a crock rather than a plate so it stayed nice and hot until finished. My husband went with the catch if the day. Ot was a local fish called Turbolt. He said it was absolutely amazing. Our friends ordered the eggplant Parmesan and the carbonara. They both loved their dishes. We decided to order the table side tiramisu. Wow, what a treat. Edgar pulled together the desert and it was so light and flavorful. What a treat. Edgar did an amazing job. I wish we would have walked over to the bar near the restaurant for a drink after dinner. It looked lovely and looks like a wonderful view of the water. If the weather was nicer, I would request a table near the beautiful lit tree on the lower patio. It looks like a beautiful spot to dine, however, any table is a great spot to dine as far as I could tell. Overall we had a wonderful experience. My husband and I would like to dine again on our next visit. read more

Dined at the Sea Grill in November 2025, not as resort guest this time, but I would like to on a future visit. I imagine this is the top property in Cabo. Descriptors that come to mind: subdued, serene, zen, family, Architectural Digest, zen, garden, design, "perfect moment." We ubered here from The Waldorf and the security is tight as in you need a reservation to even enter the resort. It is gorgeous here and is reminiscent of the 80's with jazz music playing close to the beach. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable like a 5 star resort should be. I don't know what happened to this resort. I used to love it. I had a bat land on my neck while I slept and they said it was a moth but I don't know what to believe. The AC did not work nor did the lights in the bedroom or bathroom. When the bat incident occurred I sat in the lobby for over an hour and they didn't offer another room I had to wait for the bat to be removed. I am stunned at the service. A gentleman just came to my room and said he was sorry that the AC and lights do not work. I indicated I just want to be able to sleep tonight after I couldn't last night. I would expect better from a Rosewood and Las Ventanas. I will go back to the one and only or montage. read more

Amazing! One of the prettiest hotels ever. I highly recommend, the service is incredible too. Super kind and helpful. The restaurant here is also to die for Árbol super delicious. I love the unique touches here for example aromatherapy , they have diffusers and Incense you can smell before even stepping inside. Once you step inside the set up is so majestic pretty lights everywhere and super super sweet staff. The staff made our time extra special and even helped accommodate us with last minute dinner reservations and left the restaurant open an extra two house for us! The service was not good but we ordered a glass of Cabernet thinking it was a house wine and ended up paying 70.00 us for a glass of wine . It was highway robbery talked to management and they only adjusted our bill by one glass of wine . I will never go back to that restaurant it takes advantage of hard working everyday people. No glass of wine is worth that . My meal was just ok we ordered more bread and never got it and also ordered extra mashed potatoes and never got them as well. The amount that we paid for a nice dinner out with friends turned out to be the worst dinner experience we all had . We come to Cabo every year and will never go back there . . read more

You will be at peace here...to rest and rejuvenate. No detail is overlooked and the answer is always, "Yes, of course". Par excellence from the moment you step from your taxi upon arrival. Arturo, Gabriel & Gabriela were the three who attended to our every need during our entire stay. Honorable mention by the main pool area were Jose who's personal attention brought a smile at every appearance. Citlali who I believe is responsible for a portion of the crew. Her delightful presence and knowledge enlightened us to more areas of the resort to explore. We made a few trips to the Tequila bar for sushi and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff there! However, had I not enjoyed the tequila so much perhaps I would have remembered their names to credit them for our enjoyable evenings. Homemade Sangrita is the best! Being at a place like Las Ventanas al Paraiso, is like being in an art installment. Everything is immaculately groomed and thoughtfully procured down to the very flooring that you walk on. This place is stunning. I can see why the name translates into "windows to paradise." If you like a desert modern spanish architecture you will like Las Ventanas. There are 4 pools here of different sizes and styles to accommodate your needs. Each room gets a butler that will accomodate your needs. They offered to unpack our clothes. I don't generally take them up on that but I did and have to admit I kind of liked it. I got back to the room and all my clothes were in the closet and in drawers. Every night they would make sure the place was nice and tidy. I can see why people would love this place. I only had one gripe: the beach is not swimmable. We didn't see anyone swimming on the beach and when we asked they said the red flags were up due to rip currents. Since a big part of the reason we come to Cabo is to be on the beach that was a big drawback. This place is so stunning. If you're into posting on social media this would be heaven for you. This is an overdue review of our extended Memorial Day weekend at Las Ventanas al Paraiso. The resort exceeded our expectations -- the beauty of our room and the grounds, the gracious and thoughtful service, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Thank you to our room butlers, Demetrio, Connie and Luis, for making our stay really enjoyable. Balloons in the bath one night and surprise desert delivered to our room after dinner (while we were out) were especially memorable, as the trip was an early celebration for a June birthday. Our room, number 408, was a junior suite with an ocean view and a rooftop terrace. The weather was in the 80s during our visit, so not too hot, and we used the rooftop terrace more than we initially anticipated. Dinner at Arbol was my husband's favorite. For me, it was a close call between Arbol and the casual ceviche bar. At the airport, I highly recommend Cactus rentals for a rental car. This was our third or fourth time renting with them. We had a terrible experience with Hertz over Christmas (Cactus' cars were all booked by the time we went to reserve a car) so I would avoid Hertz. We will definitely return to Las Ventanas al Paraiso. read more

Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights for a company organized vacation with my fiancé and wow... we got a taste of what it's like to be treated like a king and queen. Kind of felt uncomfortable because we're not used to it but it tells you how above and beyond their treatment and service was. Everything is an experience from start to finish, they'll offer drinks and treats pre and post services on the house, and make everything feel like it's yours in a blink. When we first walked in, they had a mariachi band playing and offered us drinks, accommodating that we don't drink alcohol. Given when you peak at the prices it's INSANELY expensive, like if I did the conversion right, our three scoop ice cream was $20 US dollars?!?! But I guess it makes sense for the level of customer service and experience they give you. The customer service really is insane, there's lots of details that they take care of and initiate that you wouldn't even think of -- like folding your clothes, setting your room to a vibe of your choosing in the evening, and remembering anything and everything you tell them. They are also always accessible through the WhatsApp so we could literally message them at any time and they'd help or set up services just like that. They are always wanting to help you, and there are lots of free treats involved like daily tarts replaced each day. Breakfast was also on the house and set up in room on our terrace. I'm not sure what was part of what the company paid for or if it's all around what they do, but they went above and beyond with making sure we had a good time and took care of us very well. We'd personally never spend this amount of money out of pocket for ourselves but through the company made it happen. Grateful for the experience because it definitely is one. The visit to the Las Ventanas was nothing short of excellent! The service is superb as their attentiveness to every move was spot on. They have unseen pathways the staff travels and radios to one another to ensure someone is right there if you need them. The food was delicious and went down well with the bottles of Caymus! During my time there Lisa Vanderpump, her husband and daughter were there too. She is tiny in real life and her husband can't be more than 5'5.. crazy to see them in person and their dog too. My time at Las Ventanas was spent mostly at The Restaurant, which is hands down one of my favorite dining experiences in Cabo, and also, EVER. Although I was not a guest at the resort my experience before, during and after my meal was so special I had to post something on the internet about it. THIS PLACE IS JAW DROPPING-LY BEAUTIFUL. THE SERVICE IS INCREDIBLE. THE ATMOSPHERE IS MAGICAL. I only visited at night so I did not get to really appreciate the all encompassing ocean view but the the elegant and luxurious entryway that greets you at first is beyond welcoming. Sitting here at the airport and just amazed with the experience we had at this hotel. Service is OUTSTANDING, so outstanding that I felt the need to immediately write this review. The room quality was excellent. The bedding, the bathrooms, the towels, the amenities. No detail was missed. Daily aroma therapy options for the room. Seriously? It's a different level. It seemed like they were watching us and every time we remotely needed anything a butler was there to help. Every single person we encountered greeted us with a smile and many knew our name. Even when we got the airport going home, as soon as the taxi door opened there was somebody there from the hotel to greet us, handled the luggage, personally walked us to the check in counter and checked us in. las ventanas sea grill is an amazing dining experience and the resort also looks like something from a windows background. it's so perfect it looks fake. not to mention the food was nothing less than delicious. i ordered the braised fish which was a blackened red snapper dish; cooked to perfection. we also joked around and sarcastically said it was my dads birthday and i think they took it seriously because he got a free dessert hahaha. not only that but they gave us a free loaf of their fresh bread on the way out! also make sure you leave some time to walk around this fabulous resort if you find yourself at this fine dining establishment! read more

It's challenging to convey the magical experience of staying at LVP in simple words because it's one unlike any other. That's probably why it's a celeb favorite. I have almost nothing critical to share of my stays there, as they truly do everything right to a T. They truly make you feel SO special and personalize your stay. I have yet to go to another hotel that pays such incredible attention to their guests and the level of service they provide to clients. Before going there (now regularly), I didn't realize hotel staff could contribute to, and dare I say, improve the happiness of my stay. Las Ventanas staff is the real deal and unlike any other level of attention I've ever encountered. It speaks to the whole unforgettable operation that'll make you want to keep coming back. IMO - It's safe to say they raised the bar on hotels in that all other top-rated five star resorts seem (to me) cold and corporate in comparison. This is my Disneyland. read more

I've stayed at Las Ventanas five times and pray I can return many more! My husband and I have made it a tradition for our anniversary. At the main restaurant, get the taco experience. Anything at the Sea Grill is excellent and the location is stunning. At the ceviche/sushi bar, I recommend the tuna and kampachi sashimi prepared serrano style - plus chips & guac, of course, with a spritz of fresh lime, if you're feeling it. The taco stand by the pool is fun, but the new restaurant, Arbol, is not as good as the others on property. Service across the board is sort-of over-the-top but incredible. The hotel concierge made an error and booked my spa retreat (which was to be followed by a special dinner for my husbands 50th bday) ON THE WRONG NIGHT! They would not accommodate THEIR error, nor did they apologize. I would expect more after I just spent $800 on spa services. So disappointed! I have stayed at Bulgari in London, Four Seasons in Bora Bora, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, The Nam Hai in Danang, and many, many other luxury resorts around the world. Although all these are top-notched hotels with impeccable service, Las Ventanas Al Paraiso still surpasses all of them in my experience. There is no request, no desire, no need that will go unfulfilled. "No" and "Sorry, we can't" do not exist here. And the attention to detail is incredible. Do not come here expecting that you will raise a finger to do anything other than signaling someone to come to your beck and call. They are ever present to service without being overbearing or intrusive. You will not know that they're there until the moment you need something and they miraculously appear (or run like crazy mad to you) to take care of you. When we first arrived on property, our butler asked me what my nationality was. I told him and never thought twice about it. When we got to our beachfront, they had written "Welcome" in both English and my native language in the sand. THAT is incredible in my opinion. I agree that it is not the cheapest place to stay at (a 1-bedroom beachfront luxury villa will run you $5K/night with a 35% tax on top of it), but for the level of service and amenities and all the pluses that come with your stay, if you can splurge, it is definitely worth every penny. And if you live in Southern California, you cannot beat the short 2.5-hour flight to get there (to feel like you're thousands of miles away). read more

They were all wonderful - Silvino, Eduardo, and Brenda. I am not kidding you when I say you do not have to lift a single finger here. Everything is done for you, down to cleaning your sunglasses and adjusting your beach chair. Just the slightest indication that you would like to adjust your chair, order a second (or third) drink, or there's too much sun, someone (and many times, two), will come and make sure that whatever it is that you desire, shall be taken care of - by them. My stay as Las Ventanas was one of the best experiences in my entire life. I am a huge traveler and thus hotel is comparable to none. Not only did it feel like I was in heaven but the staff is God sent! They treated us like we were princesses and made us feel like royalty. We were offered ice cold Coronas in the hotel car that transported us from the airport to the hotel along with WiFi and phone chargers. Everything from the breakfast food to the pool staff coming around feeing us ice cold hand crafted popsicles to getting our glasses professionally cleaned on a whim. I still can't get over it! They even come around and pass out Evian Water spray bottles to keep you cool and refreshed. It was beyond anything I couldn't have ever expected. Amazing property and service! We go once a year and we always have a wonderful time. The staff is extremely attentive. Food is magnificent! Very personalized service. They will even allow you to meet with the chef to plan your own menu for your private beach dinner. Be sure to reserve a beach cabana one of your days. It has a plunge pool/jacuzzi and a great view.
