Dined at the Sea Grill in November 2025, not as resort guest this time, but I would like to on a future visit. I imagine this is the top property in Cabo. Descriptors that come to mind: subdued, serene, zen, family, Architectural Digest, zen, garden, design, "perfect moment." Loved the Sea Grill, outstanding wine list, incredible beach view, superb seaside dining, and fabulous, well-trained, and attentive staff. Peak experience in Cabo, a truly wonderful evening. Love it.

We ubered here from The Waldorf and the security is tight as in you need a reservation to even enter the resort. It is gorgeous here and is reminiscent of the 80's with jazz music playing close to the beach. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable like a 5 star resort should be. I will be staying here next time we come to Cabo!

Beautiful resort with impeccable service from start to finish! Rooms were spacious and well appointed.. loved the jacuzzi tub and outdoor patio area. We had a delicious lunch at Sea Grille and awesome dinner at Arbol and breakfast at Alebrije. We enjoyed their cavernous lazy River and La Botica speakeasy. Staff was very friendly and helpful and enjoyed the many gifts bestowed upon us!

The service is fabulous, the staff attentive, the rooms are gorgeous and the food is amazing! We celebrated our 40th anniversary and I don't know how it could have been any better.

We basically had this pool to ourselves until the day before we left.

Where do I even begin? Las Ventanas is perfection. The views, as you can imagine, are sublime. Day or night. It is next to impossible to take a bad photo here. The atmosphere... sophisticated, luxurious and serene. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well appointed. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. You will be at peace here...to rest and rejuvenate. No detail is overlooked and the answer is always, "Yes, of course". More often than not, you don't even have to ask.. your needs are often anticipated before you even realize that it was something you may have wished for. Truly, every member of the staff here is genuinely helpful, friendly and engaging. I cannot thank them enough for making my birthday celebration an absolutely unforgettable delight. There are so many reasons why this resort consistently wins awards as one of the best. I can't wait to return.

Sunrise each morning with coffee on the veranda is spectacular!

Par excellence from the moment you step from your taxi upon arrival. Arturo, Gabriel & Gabriela were the three who attended to our every need during our entire stay. Honorable mention by the main pool area were Jose who's personal attention brought a smile at every appearance. Citlali who I believe is responsible for a portion of the crew. Her delightful presence and knowledge enlightened us to more areas of the resort to explore. We made a few trips to the Tequila bar for sushi and had a wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff there! However, had I not enjoyed the tequila so much perhaps I would have remembered their names to credit them for our enjoyable evenings. Homemade Sangrita is the best! The attention to detail is appreciated. The gym, Spa, Taco bar, Main restaurant, several choices of infinity pools....We will return!

Being at a place like Las Ventanas al Paraiso, is like being in an art installment. Everything is immaculately groomed and thoughtfully procured down to the very flooring that you walk on. Even the architecture of the building itself with its clean lines and never-ending grand staircases feels intentionally curated. Your eyes will be drawn to the natural curvature of gem-colored infinity pools, robust towering palms, and beach cabanas with crisp white linens sunken into an endless coastline of hot sand. As if Las Ventanas could not get any more phantasmal, just wait until nightfall. Twinkling lights, candles, the smell of freshly grilled seafood, the sound of laughter and in-depth dinner conversations, and the taste of Tequila so pure it slides down the throat without hesitation. Whether you're a guest of the hotel, or merely coming for a meal at one of their many acclaimed restaurants, you're treated with unparalleled hospitality (as is standard of Mexico) and the notion (whether true or not) that anything you could possibly want can be found here. As with all dreams, there are endings- or in this case, caveats. You will have to pay to experience it, and even the most economical option here will force a pretty penny from your wallet. Is it worth it? As one not commonly swayed by prestige....even I find myself thinking "yes".

This place is stunning. I can see why the name translates into "windows to paradise." If you like a desert modern spanish architecture you will like Las Ventanas. There are 4 pools here of different sizes and styles to accommodate your needs. Each room gets a butler that will accomodate your needs. They offered to unpack our clothes. I don't generally take them up on that but I did and have to admit I kind of liked it. I got back to the room and all my clothes were in the closet and in drawers. Every night they would make sure the place was nice and tidy. I can see why people would love this place. I only had one gripe: the beach is not swimmable. We didn't see anyone swimming on the beach and when we asked they said the red flags were up due to rip currents. Since a big part of the reason we come to Cabo is to be on the beach that was a big drawback. This place is so stunning. If you're into posting on social media this would be heaven for you. It is so aesthetically pretty.

This is an overdue review of our extended Memorial Day weekend at Las Ventanas al Paraiso. The resort exceeded our expectations -- the beauty of our room and the grounds, the gracious and thoughtful service, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Thank you to our room butlers, Demetrio, Connie and Luis, for making our stay really enjoyable. Balloons in the bath one night and surprise desert delivered to our room after dinner (while we were out) were especially memorable, as the trip was an early celebration for a June birthday. Our room, number 408, was a junior suite with an ocean view and a rooftop terrace. The weather was in the 80s during our visit, so not too hot, and we used the rooftop terrace more than we initially anticipated. Dinner at Arbol was my husband's favorite. For me, it was a close call between Arbol and the casual ceviche bar. At the airport, I highly recommend Cactus rentals for a rental car. This was our third or fourth time renting with them. We had a terrible experience with Hertz over Christmas (Cactus' cars were all booked by the time we went to reserve a car) so I would avoid Hertz. We will definitely return to Las Ventanas al Paraiso.

This property is beautiful. My friend and I dined here during our trip to Cabo. We at at both restaurants. Even though they are close they are totally different in atmosphere. We ate at two on the beach. Our sommelier, Norman, was excellent and available for both locations. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. The most adorable part of this whole this was that my purse had its own seat when we dined in the sand.

My cabana..

The visit to the Las Ventanas was nothing short of excellent! The service is superb as their attentiveness to every move was spot on. They have unseen pathways the staff travels and radios to one another to ensure someone is right there if you need them. The food was delicious and went down well with the bottles of Caymus! During my time there Lisa Vanderpump, her husband and daughter were there too. She is tiny in real life and her husband can't be more than 5'5.. crazy to see them in person and their dog too. Lol Anyways, it was a great time there!

We were also offered a complementary popsicle and I opted for the margarita one which was delicious. Once we checked in, we opted for their upgrade which I believe is called Altamar, which means high ocean and for an extra $150/day we get a top suite right in the center and it includes breakfast buffets, daily mini bar refill, and a few other discounts for massages. Our room was literally right under the Hilton sign on the sixth floor. We had a great view of the whole property from our balcony. It's worth it because the buffet is around $40/person. The property is very nice and well maintained. They have a hot tub, infinity hot tub, an adult infinity pool, and a massive pool right in the center. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great. Everything was really good and it tasted authentic. I opted for the Cook to order omelettes or eggs and chilaquiles. The avocado toast was amazing. They have a Rotating item where a cook prepares it for you on the spot. You must get the nachos by the pool. They're great for two people and they were so good. They have a total of three restaurants which we ate at two of them because we really enjoyed the Italian, called Velas. They had live music the nights we went. We also went to Lena on taco Tuesday, which was their Tacos and Margarita Night. The beach is beautiful, very walkable. There is a lifeguard on duty. Beautiful sunsets. All the employees were always working, they were very helpful, and attentive. It was a very relaxing day.

Its best to be specific on what you want in your drink. They have a good selection of tequila however we did run into a small issue regarding some bars not having the tequila or mezcal we wanted. The management made it right though, thanks to Fernando. A MUST DO is the French dinner with wine pairing at the Canto Del Mar restaurant. It cost extra but the experience amd food were phenomenal, we did it twice during our trip. Ronny and the staff created an awesome presentation and the chef was on point. Other notable mentions was Esmeralda and Monty at the pool activities. They were always welcoming. Jose at Vista Ballenas breakfast was super attentive when serving us at breakfast. Javier( in the cream colored shirt) always made sure our stay was pleasant. Julio at the pool was great. There were others that I dont remember names. We plan to be back! Upon arriving Jared took care of us and took no more than five minutes to get our vacation started -as our welcome drinks started flowing. Esteban was our orientation guy. He took care of us the whole week for our dinner reservations restaurant and Bali beds (by the pools) Kevin was in charge of getting our favorite bali bed every day! Our pool service was extremely efficient. We had Jasmine (aka Jazzy) and beware: Angel and Pablo are mind readers...these boys brought our drinks and snacks before even us asking! They kept us hydrated! The resort was clean and updated on some areas. Bathroom were clean and updated specially those in the reserve area. Food was plentiful and fresh. We were able to try " Sante "one of the reserve restaurant for those staying on the upgraded rooms. We tried both breakfast and lunch there- but our favorite was lunch! Try the catch of the day and shrimp mango...delicious! And have the bartender surprise you with a drink of his specialty. This restaurant it's Mediterranean style at night-which opens for the rest of the guests. This became our favorite place to go for dinner, the other restaurants in the property were a Japanese ,Italian (Capella) and Mexican (Cielo) For our surprise my second favorite restaurant was the Italian, then Japanese and last the Mexican. Service was good overall. We had Selene both on the Capella (Italian) and Sante (Mediterranean) and she was wonderful and their desserts were great!!! On the Japanese restaurant we felt rushed and our waiter was not friendly. We tried this restaurant twice and both times we got the same waiter and same attitude. At Cielo we had two miniature sopes and some tostada that were delicious! Chicken mole and fish were dried and no taste. But service and drinks were excellent! Food was good at the breakfast Buffett. I liked the fact that it was not a massive buffet. Our girl was Susana aka Susie. She welcomed us everyday with a warm smile and ready to serve us. She remembered how I drink my coffee and brought us our healthy green juice. (Which is made fresh every morning ) skip the orange juice try the green juice instead! It's a great idea to have a popsicle cart by the pool and lobby-Love this around !! Specifically when it's so hot -a popsicle it's the right thing to grab. Flavors are: watermelon, coconut and pineapple Coffee shop had plenty of pastries and Omar was so nice letting us try all the ice cream and preparing not only coffee but teas. Excellent service. Beach: it is swimmable and grainy. If you want to take a walk on the beach bring water shoes. Always follow lifeguard instructions for jellyfish or other critters and water conditions. This hotel is at the "corridor" meaning half way to Cabos San Lucas (25 minutes south) and San Jose del Cabo ( 25 minutes north) highly recommend head to San Jose on Thursday for the art festival. Entertainment at the resort was good . Jesus had the mornings activities and the DJ was ok during the day with some current tunes and some oldies. The resort had different activities every night. (Like karaoke)...This is not a party hotel, if you want to party, you need to head out to Cabo San Lucas for that. We loved that fact that it had enough activity but not all night. Pretty relaxed atmosphere. As a kind reminder: even though it's not mandatory...please don't forget to bring tip money, they greatly appreciate this. Overall experience was 9/10. Location was perfect. Service A+ from concierge to staff and those behind the scenes! Paradisus made our 1st time in Cabo unforgettable and memorable! Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend staying here.

An all inclusive resort in Cabo that hits a lot of the positives in what you're looking for, but…read morealso falls short in a lot of places. First, where they don't fall short is service. Every single person is incredibly nice, helpful, and there to truly provide you with a seamless experience. With the exception of our waiter on our last day who kept trying to clear my plate and silverware before I was done, all facets of the dining experience were great at all the restaurants and bars. Food quality wise is really subjective. There are a lot of great offerings (talking just the included options) and a lot of items that were not great. At the bazaar the bacon seemed either over or under cooked and some bread options stale. The rigatoni we had at the Italian joint felt overly salty like someone dropped the salt shaker on accident. The green juice saved all. The Nescafe coffee shop with gelato was also a nice touch for a quick bite and coffee. The rooms, while clean-ish are definitely showing some age. The light in our toilet room wasn't working so we were essentially going #1 and #2 in the dark. Our friend's fridge broke on their 2nd day. The "garden" view room in the 400 building was an issue. Not the lack of a garden to look at, but the humming of the adjacent hotel's generators or AC was so loud that we couldn't keep the doors open without some noise pollution. The 1 and 2 buildings should be better options. Gym is minimal. 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, 2 ellipticals, 1 bench. This place would also benefit from a free Sauna or steam room. Overall we had a great experience at the pool with all their activities, and would love to come back to this Adults-Only resort. Though what was up with only 1 hour of Karaoke on Friday nights? You need more than that!

The attention to detail for the daily room cleanings & nightly turndowns are the best we've seen. Never have to worry about having towels, water, drinks, snacks, etc. The staff "for the most part", are all very nice and make your visit very welcoming. The only person who we weren't too thrilled with is the Woman who works the omelet grill in the morning, she wasn't a very nice person but there's always 1 in the bunch. Our concierge Eric was always attentive and available for anything we needed. The pools are gorgeous and we loved every min in them. Things we wish we would've known. For this being a family friendly hotel, 6 out of the 9 daily activities they put together are for 18+, I think they feel the teen room is the reason they can do this, but when your 15 year old doesn't want to hang in a teen room, they should offer family activities to help keep the families together during their stays. We also wish we knew the pools close at 8pm, there's not to much to do after 8 and we found ourselves stuck in the room most evenings. Now the not so good: While we were at the pool trying to enjoy our last day, we're approached while we're eating lunch by someone all dressed up trying to sell is a min 35 day stay that can be used over 10 years for $64,000 USD! That bothered me although they did give us a $300 voucher for the gift shop "VERY expensive in there", just wish the timing on their part was better... Lucca, Velas 10 & Sen Lin have the best food here, but unfortunately for us, that was it. The breakfast & Lunch buffet from Azul was a 2 out of 10 for us, lots of choices but not very appealing and the food was very bland. Fridas food was the same, and room service food was never good. We ate the COSINA DE AUTOR for the 8 course meal, and 2 of us got sick on one of the plates, "possibly the tartar", was a long night for us and only 2 of the 8 dishes didn't make us want to spit them out. Because of how well they treat you and how beautiful and Zen feeling this property is, its a place we would most likely return to, but we would be very prescriptive on our food choices & we would also hope for a little cheaper rate, $1,700+ for their cheapest room for 3 of us, was a steep compared to other all inclusive with the same quality food, especially when you can't use the beach and there's no night life after 8pm for families.

A classic Spanish, almost Greek style - there's beautiful tiles all around and lots of colorful flowers in every corridor. The rooms all have a couch, living room area, kitchen with microwave and small fridge, and a small dining area. There's free coffee and creamer and they give lots of water bottles. Restrooms are very modern and pretty. There is hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, soaps are all provided. Towels are changed everyday. There are also robes in the closet + hangars if you need. The service is pretty great here. We asked for multiple things throughout our stay (like a wine opener, straws, etc) and they were super accommodating. Everyone is very very friendly and nice. There's a pool area which was very beautiful. No jacuzzi, but its so hot anyway. You can order meal service by the pool - alcohol, smoothies, cocktails, you name it. We also got a hotel add-on for a picnic - picnic blankets under large beach umbrellas on their grass so you're not sitting directly in the sun. They serve charcuterie, a few bottles of wine, and some delicious chicken sandwiches. The meals here are ok. For dinner, I got the pork belly tacos and the pulled pork tacos. Both were ok but the price is hefty (about $11 per taco)! The free continental breakfast in the mornings is not bad. There's a buffet area with lots of fruit, granola, pastries, and some hummus/chips. You can also order eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Overall, I'd give their meals a 3/5. The next time I'm in Cabo, I would want to try an all-inclusive resort. But for non-all-inclusive, it was nice to stay here. I recommend it!

Title: Come for the Views, Stay for the Watered‑Down Drinks and CSI‑Level Housewares…read more Dreams Los Cabos has stunning ocean views, but everything else feels like the resort is being held together with hope, duct tape, and a prayer. Let's start with the room. Ours featured white patching on the closet wall, fixtures that looked like they hadn't been polished since the early 2000s, and a safe that opened only when it felt spiritually aligned. The ironing board cover looked like it had been part of a forensic investigation, and the iron was missing a knob -- which I assume fell off sometime around 2018 and nobody bothered to replace. The drinks were so watered down I'm convinced the bartenders are trying to keep guests hydrated for liability reasons. I've had stronger beverages at a toddler's birthday party. And speaking of beverages -- I injured my tongue on a chipped glass. Not a tiny chip either. This wasn't even the only cracked or chipped drinking utensil I found. At this point, I started wondering if the resort was running a secret "guess which glass is safe" challenge. Then there was the cookie‑jar incident. I accidentally broke the glass cover on a cookie display and they tried to charge me $30 USD to replace it. I explained it was an accident and asked them to show me the security footage so we could walk through what exactly I was supposed to do differently. Shockingly, they didn't take me up on that offer. The "24‑hour" Coco Café? It closes early, and the ice cream machine gets shut down at night because they "don't want to clean it later." Truly inspiring hospitality. And let's not forget the timeshare reps, who are so pushy they could probably sell sand to the beach. Even when you tell them upfront you're not buying, they treat it like a personal challenge. The staff themselves were wonderful -- genuinely the best part of the stay -- but they're working in a resort that desperately needs updates, maintenance, and a management team that actually walks the property. And just to confirm this wasn't a one‑off, we stayed in the penthouse at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, and that property was also a dump. So apparently this is a theme with older Hyatt all‑inclusive resorts in Mexico. Come for the views. Stay for the stories. Leave wondering how Hyatt signed off on any of this. FORGOT TO MENTION: 1. STAINS ON THE SOFA 2. TOWELS I WOULD NOT EVEN WASH MY VEHICLES WITH 3. POORLY DRAIN BATHROOM SINK WE HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE FOR A SONS WEDDING AND ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO IT WAS STILL NICE. NOW IT SHOULD BE THE LOW-ETT AND NOT THE HYATT AS FAR AS STANDARDS GO AND EXPECTATIONS. BAR SET BELOW GROUND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PROPERTY IF THAT IS WHERE YOUR STANDARDS ARE

Dreams Los Cabos checked all the boxes. Welcome champagne upon arrival. Check-in process was quick as we had paid in advance. They will try to sell you an upgrade and timeshare by offering you free dinner on the beach and massages. Stand your ground and say no, unless you're interested. We were only staying for 3 nights so it wasn't worth it for me. The room was spacious, adequate, and clean. A bit outdated but the bed was comfortable and good hot water pressure for the shower. We also didn't spend much time in the room. The balcony was nice and we were able to watch a sunrise one morning. The mini fridge was replenished each day with bottled water and sodas. There are two pools. I like that there is an adult only pool that's quiet. People are there to relax, read a book and sunbath. The main pool is a bit more crowed with kids, family and daily activities. We did SUP yoga, finger painting and bracelet making. It was a lot fun. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We've tried every restaurants on the premises and all very good. I didn't have anything that I didn't like. Oceana is seafood restaurant - get the crab cake and chowder! Portofino is Italian. Bordeaux is French - get the prawn linguine and creme brulee for dessert. We went to Seaside Grill for breakfast and lunch. The Cerviche was amazing! World Cafe is the main dining room buffet style. We had breakfast there twice. It's really catered to family with young kids and no wait time. Not that we had to wait a long time for any of the restaurants because we like to eat early to avoid the crowd. Coco Cafe is 24 hours serving coffee, teas, smoothies, pastries, cakes, cookies and gelato! No reservations needed for restaurants. Each night they have some sort of show and entertainment. I recommend bringing $1s, $5s and $10s to tip the waiters and servers. It goes a long way.
