Lena restaurant has a swim up bar in the main pool and their menu includes pizza, sandwiches salads, and tacos. The family pool also has poolside service for food and drinks. Shout out to Fidel and Angel for their excellent service! The family pool is near the kiddie pool and play area which has a water system kids can run through and a small water slide. Mio restaurant is on it's own small pool with an infinity edge and beautiful view. Mio menu includes sushi, noodle dishes, pad Thai, and poke, all of which were excellent. We had several dinners at the Sotol restaurant off the lobby. Their menu includes tacos, steak quesadillas, and pasta dishes. Bartender/server Jesus provided great friendly service and made us feel cared for each night when we stopped by for after dinner drinks. Talavera restaurant is where the huge breakfast buffet was each morning, offering a very affordable continental breakfast, or a full breakfast. We found the continental offered more than enough options to satisfy us with lots of great choices including oatmeal with an array of toppings, granola and other cereals, about 20 different types of pastries/breads each day, and a fresh fruit bar. The full breakfast also offered meats, cheeses, custom made breakfast tacos, breakfast cocktails, and a smoothie bar. There's also Los Arcos Roasting Company coffee shop off the lobby, and Starbucks coffee and ice cream available in the Dulce shop near the family pool. This Hilton also has a doctor onsite 24 hours a day. This was a relief to us as one member of our family had an ear ache. The doctor did an exam and diagnosed an ear infection and provided the antibiotics right then and there. The doctor had her come back in the next day for a follow-up and the infection cleared up. Talavera Bar is the only difference. Another notable matter is the 15% service charge on everything! And you find yourself tipping on top of the service charge! As a Diamond member, I receive a complimentary breakfast for two each day, but I was billed $12 service charge and a tip each morning. The pool is only about 4 1/2 feet deep, and after enough doubles, I'm proud to report that I did not drown. The beach is absolutely stunning, but Mother Nature said, "Look, don't touch." The waves are no joke, so the beach is closed for swimming. Service was amazing everywhere we went. Some of the food had us saying, "ehhhhhhhh..." The beach area is lovely, also lacking shade unless you grab a beach side cabana, although we never had trouble finding a few free ones. The ocean here is brutal, even at this "only swimmable beach" in Cabo. My 6'5/300lbs husband and other friends were getting tossed around. There's a spa that definitely has some high priced services, but as a reserve member we were able to use the spa sauna, steam room, and pool area with a reservation. Pros/Positives of Paradisus: Great food, wonderful, caring and kind staff members, very enjoyable amenities, a wonderful place to relax. Adults only. Cons/Negatives: Not made for partying, this is a resort made for adult relaxation. He took care of us the whole week for our dinner reservations restaurant and Bali beds (by the pools) Kevin was in charge of getting our favorite bali bed every day! Our pool service was extremely efficient. We had Jasmine (aka Jazzy) and beware: Angel and Pablo are mind readers...these boys brought our drinks and snacks before even us asking! They kept us hydrated! The resort was clean and updated on some areas. Bathroom were clean and updated specially those in the reserve area. Food was plentiful and fresh. We were able to try " Sante "one of the reserve restaurant for those staying on the upgraded rooms. We tried both breakfast and lunch there- but our favorite was lunch! Try the catch of the day and shrimp mango...delicious! And have the bartender surprise you with a drink of his specialty. This restaurant it's Mediterranean style at night-which opens for the rest of the guests. This became our favorite place to go for dinner, the other restaurants in the property were a Japanese ,Italian (Capella) and Mexican (Cielo) For our surprise my second favorite restaurant was the Italian, then Japanese and last the Mexican. It's a great idea to have a popsicle cart by the pool and lobby-Love this around !! Specifically when it's so hot -a popsicle it's the right thing to grab. Beach: it is swimmable and grainy. If you want to take a walk on the beach bring water shoes. Always follow lifeguard instructions for jellyfish or other critters and water conditions. This hotel is at the "corridor" meaning half way to Cabos San Lucas (25 minutes south) and San Jose del Cabo ( 25 minutes north) highly recommend head to San Jose on Thursday for the art festival. Entertainment at the resort was good . Jesus had the mornings activities and the DJ was ok during the day with some current tunes and some oldies. The resort had different activities every night. (Like karaoke)...This is not a party hotel, if you want to party, you need to head out to Cabo San Lucas for that. We loved that fact that it had enough activity but not all night. Pretty relaxed atmosphere. As a kind reminder: even though it's not mandatory...please don't forget to bring tip money, they greatly appreciate this. Overall experience was 9/10. Location was perfect. Service A+ from concierge to staff and those behind the scenes! Paradisus made our 1st time in Cabo unforgettable and memorable! Looking forward to staying here again. Based upon a YouTuber's advice, I decided to plan a trip to the Grand Velas Los Cabos Boutique resort. Michelin starred restaurant included in the all-inclusive resort? Check! Beautiful and spectacular landscapes? Check! Impeccable service? Check! Wonderful food and beverages? Check! You need to catch whatever ride you can get to this resort. My best friend and I found out that August isn't necessarily the best time of the year to visit Cabo San Lucas, but the landscape still spectacular. And with regards to the quality of the food and beverages, I can't say enough about how high of a quality everything was. Sometimes, all-inclusive resorts don't necessarily serve high quality food in every onsite restaurant. You don't have to worry about the Velas Boutique hotel. As my sister Luch would say, everything was beyond stat! I don't know how to express just how wonderful this resort was. And the "Boutique" is the "Adults Only" part of the Grand Velas complex. The regular Grand Velas Los Cabos is a haven for families with everything that a kid could imagine. Picture yourself on a balcony with the ocean in front of you while you sit in your personal hot tub. Then imagine yourself sipping your favorite beverage while the sun rises and sets. Are you there with me? If not, close your eyes and picture it. Yeah, there you go... And if you're looking for a comparison, I've stayed at the St.Regis in Miami and you can't beat this place for the price. Ask for Victor R and Fernanda M for exceptional service!

Opening initially in 1994, and later being renovated in 2017, the Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas is…read morea huge complex consisting of the main semi-circle complex and a owners-only smaller area called Baja Point. My wife and I spent two nights in 2 BR/2 BA, using our Marriott Vacation Club points, and really enjoyed our stay. All Westin and Sheraton vacation clubs became part of Marriott Vacation Club in 2016, around the same time that Marriott International acquired Starwood Hotels and Resorts (owners of the Sheraton and Westin brand). We came to Cabo to stay at another property, so decided to lengthen our stay by staying at a Westin vacation club property for the first time. About a week before our visit, we got a welcome email and a suggestion to use their shuttle service from/to the airport. It was the first time to the Cabo airport, so decided to use their services, provided by a local company, Baja Pacific, for a fee of $95 USD. It took about 40 minutes, traveling on the main highway going from the airport to Cabo San Lucas. The unit was way bigger than we needed, over 1,206 square feet. It pretty included everything one would need for an extended stay: laundry facilities (stacked washer and dryer); fully equipped kitchen with oven (microwave, convection, air fry combo); electric stovetop and all necessary utensils, pots and pans, including a large kettle to boil water and pitcher in the fridge to dispense. Tap water is not recommended for drinking, so buying bottled water is a necessity. Wifi worked well throughout the property, with fast enough speeds to stream. There is mandatory nightly fees: Room tax - Owner occupancy of MX$354.94; Environmental Tax MX$158.40. Good internet speed of 80 Mbps, enough to stream. There were plenty of channels, with local US channels being from Miami. We came during the low season for Cabo (mid September), allowing most of the common areas to be sparsely used. There are many pools throughout the property, and most were unused. There were plenty of loungers throughout the complex, so didn't have to worry about making sure we got a chair. It's a big property, built on very uneven terrain so getting around the complex could often be confusing. Even though we were told that the adjoining Baja Point property was usable, getting there through the complex required a map. It's just a lot easier to take the beach to it. It's worth going to....our favorite pool was there including a kiddie pool that was great to use to cool off. Towel cards are used to make sure you return beach towels before your leave. The beach was an easy walk down from the hotel, and had plenty of open space. There were no dedicated chairs/umbrellas, but some areas had rock outcroppings which were nice to sit on and gaze at the sea line. The water drops off very quickly, and with the very rough surf, swimming is strongly discouraged. The rule "Don't ever turn your back on the ocean" definitely applies. The water is warm, nice to dip your feet in. We needed to go to our next stay, and decided to use Uber, which worked really well. Uber drivers are not allowed to go inside the guarded gates, but was easy enough to walk outside to pick it up. One was available within 3 minutes, and cost considerably less than what a taxi or hired shuttle would have cost.

Upon checking in, they will take your bags for you and offer you a welcome drink. They'll also scan your passports. The rooms are very pretty! A classic Spanish, almost Greek style - there's beautiful tiles all around and lots of colorful flowers in every corridor. The rooms all have a couch, living room area, kitchen with microwave and small fridge, and a small dining area. There's free coffee and creamer and they give lots of water bottles. Restrooms are very modern and pretty. There is hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, soaps are all provided. Towels are changed everyday. There are also robes in the closet + hangars if you need. The service is pretty great here. We asked for multiple things throughout our stay (like a wine opener, straws, etc) and they were super accommodating. Everyone is very very friendly and nice. There's a pool area which was very beautiful. No jacuzzi, but its so hot anyway. You can order meal service by the pool - alcohol, smoothies, cocktails, you name it. We also got a hotel add-on for a picnic - picnic blankets under large beach umbrellas on their grass so you're not sitting directly in the sun. They serve charcuterie, a few bottles of wine, and some delicious chicken sandwiches. The meals here are ok. For dinner, I got the pork belly tacos and the pulled pork tacos. Both were ok but the price is hefty (about $11 per taco)! The free continental breakfast in the mornings is not bad. There's a buffet area with lots of fruit, granola, pastries, and some hummus/chips. You can also order eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Overall, I'd give their meals a 3/5. The next time I'm in Cabo, I would want to try an all-inclusive resort. But for non-all-inclusive, it was nice to stay here. I recommend it!

My husband and I both got sick after eating their fish tacos. And the resort next door had the loudest live entertainment that kept us up all night. I Gave them two stars, because the breakfast was good and the views were amazing! And overall the property was pretty clean. I just wish more people were honest with what I should expect. I wouldn't have booked our wedding anniversary here if I had proper expectations.

If you are concerned about privacy with a swim up room, don't be, we have never had an issue with other guest doing "swim bys". I HIGHLY suggest looking at the hotel map before you book, do not get a room near the walkway or golf cart road-you will have traffic all day and most of the night. The breakfast buffet is well worth attending, with dining outdoors a bit too toasty in the summer months, look for a spot inside or a table with an umbrella. The shop on site offers everything you need "just in case", and the prices are more than fair. Assuming the higher price and positive reviews meant better quality, we booked it. It turned out to be a massive disappointment that ruined our family trip. From the moment we walked into the hotel entrance, we could not help but compare it to our past stays, and Dreams fell short in every way: * Buffet and Food Quality: The buffet was a complete joke. It didn't even have a third of the variety or quality offered at Riu, and the food was terrible. * Hygiene and Birds in the Dining Area: The sanitation was appalling. Sparrows were freely flying around the buffet and landing directly on the food stations especially around the dessert section. They were picking at food meant for guests while the staff stood by and completely ignored it. The rooms were another major disappointment. There was a very strong insecticide smell throughout the room, like bug and mosquito spray, that was difficult to tolerate. We tried to air out the room, but that wasn't possible because there were many mosquitoes outside and the windows did not have screens. As a result, we were stuck with the unpleasant odor during our stay. * Entertainment and Nightly Shows: The evening entertainment was nonexistent. The only thing they put on was a ridiculous, low-effort pirate show one night, which did not come close to the entertainment at Riu. We paid significantly more expecting an upgrade in quality, but instead, we got subpar service, terrible food, and zero effort from management. Dreams completely wasted our money and ruined our family vacation. We will never return, nor will we ever recommend this resort to anyone.
