My family and I had an unbelievable experience at Las Vistas Café. Upon arriving, we were personally invited in by the owner, who was warm, welcoming, and took special care to shake each of our hands and learn our names. She was funny and full of love, and she immediately felt like, and made us feel like, family. She let us know that all food is prepared fresh, to order, and if you're in a rush, it may not be the best place to be. Which was appreciated! The food did indeed come out fresh and it tasted like she went back there and ground the coffee beans, sacrificed the pigs, and picked every fruit from a nearby tree. Like it was THAT fresh. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast in Fajardo, it's hard to imagine getting any better than Las Vistas Café.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Call ahead and Make a reservation!! Don't be in a rush the food is made with love and takes time. The owner Gladys greets you and ask for everyone name. She makes you feel welcomed and part of the family. Amazing experience and so nice to get out of the resort. This place is so worth it. The views are great. The staff is top notch and friendly. The food is amazing. You start with a fruit plate. The French toast is awesome. The Benedict was great.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? This rooftop restaurant is a gem located in Fajardo, near the water. The views are gorgeous. But that's just the beginning. I took a chance and went this morning without making a reservation. You should really make a reservation. But I arrived before opening and got lucky. I was greeted by the lovely owner, Gladys. As other people mentioned, she asks your name......and remembers it. I had a fruit salad for starters. Everything is locally grown and delicious. I can tell that Gladys takes pride in her ingredients in the way that she describes the menu items. I enjoyed the fruit salad, as well as the homemade sauce that accompanied it. For my main meal, I had the Coco Banana Pancakes and Sausages. Oh.....my....God. It did not disappoint. The exterior is slightly crispy and the interior is nice and fluffy. With or without syrup, it's delicious. I stuffed myself silly. Gladys told me that it would be a little wait as everything was made to order. It was worth the wait. The food is delicious, the rooftop views are gorgeous, and the service is impeccable. I already made reservations to come back next week. As I was leaving, I saw people beginning to come in. I sure hope they made reservations.

Absolutely unique experience that is highly recommended. Gladys and her staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive. The pancakes are a must try and like Gladys will tell you, try it without the syrup first. The fresh fruit bowl was another highlight at this cafe and all of us enjoyed the various other breakfast options ordered. The cafe is located on the rooftop and has really pretty views. Reservations recommended.

Really good foods the views from rooftop are breathtaking. The highlight of the experience was Gladys-the owner. She is so sweet, and personally welcomes each guest with personal introduction. Steak and eggs were really well prepared. Pancake are as advertised!

Las Vistas came highly recommended by our rainforest tour guide and it did not disappoint!! Gladys (the owner) personally greeted us at the front and walked us to our table. The service was excellent and the coconut banana pancakes were absolutely out of the world! Everything was so fresh! Delicious fruit salad with her homemade dressing. I can't recommend enough. If you are staying at the conquistador or are anywhere near Fajardo, you have to stop by!!

What an amazing experience this was coming here. This was one of the best meals I've had during my week long trip in PR. Gladys is so welcoming, she asks for your name and makes you feel like family. The fruit bowl was perfect. All of the fruit was grown in her backyard & you could taste the love. The pancakes were also perfect. Tasty, fluffy & filled with so much flavor. As for the views, it was beautiful, the restaurant is located on a rooftop & you get some beautiful panoramic views of the area. I can't wait to come back here

If I could go every day I would. Gladys is the heart of her establishment and her pride for her restaurant and Puerto Rico shows is obvious from the moment she warmly greets you. Be sure to make reservations early. The views and food are amazing. I bring my family and friends here every time we visit and highly recommend her to all of my Airbnb guests as well.

For the second time, I've come here, and once again, it's truly amazing. From the moment you walk in, you're warmly welcomed by the sweetest soul, Gladis. She greets you with such kindness, it feels like a hug in human form. Her food? Absolutely delicious! Every bite is fresh, flavorful, and made with so much love. And let's not forget the view it's to die for. Eating with such a refreshing and peaceful nature views makes every bite even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a breakfast to remember, this is the place to be.

We had a variety of smoked meats, the mahi mahi over coconut rice, and the smoked pastrami. Their sides were also really good, and so were the mixed drinks. The outside seating was made comfortable with numerous fans and cover for rain/sun. The service was also great. You will definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time.

There is an uncovered patio with seating and straw-covered umbrellas. We did not have a reservation, but were able to get seated within 10 minutes of arrival. A reservation is a must. There is an area adjacent to the restaurant that sells the food items by the pound. This is one of the more expensive places to eat on this side of the island. The smell of the smoked meat and seasonings is intoxicating, drawing you in. I had a glass of lemonade, Caribbean Chicken Wings Ceviche, and a smoked tuna dip. My main course was the grilled lobster and fries. I sampled the cole slaw, red beans, and rice. The lemonade was very watery, as if it had been poured before and was ready for guests when they ordered it, since it was served quickly. Would take a pass on this. The Caribbean Chicken Wings were delightful. It has a sweet, smoky, slightly crunchy texture, with just a pinch of spice, heat, and flavor. I enjoyed this and did not want to share with family. The smoked tuna dip was delightful, not overly creamy, and retained the tuna's texture and flavor; I wanted to order another and would have appreciated a few more wings than what was served. The Ceviche was a little underwhelming but done well. I am on the picket fence on whether pineapple helps or hurts the dish, so I would pass on this when going back. The grilled lobster was beautifully presented. The spices and grilled marks were prominent and beautiful. The spices and flowers were just amazing, and they retained the lobster flavor despite the bold seasonings. The red beans and rice were well-cooked, but had very little flavor. This was disappointing given how ubiquitous this dish is on the island and the restaurant's ability. My son had the El Matahambre: "Kill your hunger" BBQ sandwich. Pulled pork, smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, and cheddar on a local bread called Mayorca. I sampled the pork. Tender, well done, seasoned, and perfect. This is a must-stop place. Remember to set a reservation, and that this is not a cheap place to eat. I want to go back soon, and I am wondering if they would ever consider chicken beyond the appetizer.

What's nice about this place is that they offer a variety of the fried foods Puerto Rico is known for- alcapurrias (fried fritters) and pastelillos (empanadas). I ordered the pastelillos de jueye (crab), garrucho (conch- HIGHLY recommended!!), pulpo (octopus), and Pollo (chicken). The 2 favorites of mine were the conch and octopus because the chunks of meat were so ginormous! They were also flavorful and fresh! You can tell they weren't stored for a while on some shelf. They tasted like they were caught that morning. One caveat about this place is that if they run out of food, they will tell you it's about a 5-10 minute wait to make more. Not the case. It took them upwards of about 30 minutes to make it and they did not seem like they were in a rush to make it. That is a big put off. That's why this is only a 4 star review and not a 5 star. They'd make more business if they were faster.
