Chimichurri Sauce
Richard B.

What a neat little place. Very clean. Friendly staff. The chimichurri sauce is amazing. Picked up a jar at Ft Thomas Farmers market and fell in love with it. Bought some brand name from a grocery store and had to throw it out. The Empanda's Chimichurri sauce is amazing. If you try it you will be hooked. Great food. Great place. Give them a try.

So many empanadas to pick from. Available fresh or frozen to take home. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly .

This is the type of place the five stars speak for themselves. We absolutely loved what we got. We got the Jamaica which we both think it might be their best one it was so good lol. Really you should just go & try a few different ones for yourself. They're small so definitely get more than one. Service was great & helpful. Loved all the plants & brightness of the place. 10/10 Recommend

All four empanadas we tried were delicious! Quite a few vegetarian and vegan options as well. Our favorites are the Kentucky, California, and Buenos Aires. Staff was friendly and it was overall just a cute lunch spot for a quick bite!

My son and I wanted something good but light. Being from the Caribbean I was totally on board for some Caribbean-esque type foods and jumped on board at the suggestion to try it out. Oh my word on a billboard was this place worth it! As we walked up to the door the serious smells alone were causes for serotonin overload. We had the audacity to think we could handle 8 empanadas between us but the server /cashier assisted us expertly to choose four. We ended up splitting 6 total when including the guava and apple empanadas as dessert. No lies were detected. Everything was skrt skrt. (Isn't that how the young people talk these days?) Whatever your flavor profile is Trey have something for everyone. Had my son emulating Keith Lee as he gave nothing less than 8/10 accross the board.

Very tasty. Not deep fried like a lot of empanadas. Very flavorful, unique, and easy to carry out a box of frozen ones.

We came good a dinner before a show and wow, what an excellent meal! We ordered the Seafood Paella…read moreimmediately because it takes some time to cook. In the meantime we got the warm olives and goat cheese as a starter. We got a bunch of other fresh dishes like their jicama/green mango salad (very okay, a little light on flavor) and their venison crudo - so so good and great flavor. The paella was fantastic and had so much seafood in it, nice charred rice, great flavor. We also got patatas bravas and pulpo. The pulpo octopus is a must-eat. It comes cut up in very tender pieces on light fluffy mashed potato - seriously so good. We were stuffed after trying everything. Highly recommend! Mita's also qualifies for Chase Sapphire's dining credit, so if you're looking for a spot in Cincinnati, look no further.

Visiting Cincy, we decided to make a reservation here! We loved the thought of family style…read moredinner!! There were only 3 of us, so we figured ordering a few plates would suffice... except when our server told us we would need way more. We were a bit surprised to be told that everything basically came in twos or was a very small portion! (Confusing because when I think family style I think BIG plates) This is a TAPAS place... family style but small appetizers and drinks style restaurant!! So you probably won't leave here full!! The server was kind and very knowledgeable! She gave us plenty of time to pick and choose! We decided on bread w/ oil & salsa ($11), guac & tostones ($13), ceviche of the day ($22), 2 chicken skewers ($19), 2 pork belly tacos ($16), & 3 beef empanadas ($22.5) I will say all of the food was PHENOMENAL... chicken skewers were perfect (might be spicy for some), ceviche (red snapper our day) was my favorite... just a super small portion for $22, empanadas were perfect, and the oils and bread was top notch!! Seriously have nothing bad to say about the food (BRAVO Chef Jose Salazar.... You really know how to do your thing!!!!) I loved it and really enjoyed my time, but if you're looking for a fancy, cute, SMALL dinner vibe - this would be the jackpot find! Or even a drink/apps before a bigger dinner date. (But if you're looking for a traditional large family style meal, I wouldn't go here) Our bill ended up over $150, but when divided it was really only around $55 each!! Not too bad for a fun fancy meal! I would love to come here again and try more, especially knowing the menu has lots of daily rotations (ex. The ceviche) Thank you again for a lovely experience!!!

The service was great and the food was excellent. I got the birria quesadilla. I would definitely get it again. The meat had soooooo much flavor. With the melty cheese. This was remarkable. I couldn't finish it so i took some with me and it reheated perfect for the next day. Be aware it is messy but so so so worth it. My husband had the birria on a sandwich and he loved it as well. They had drink specials 2 for the price of 1 or $8 each. This was for some main staples: Margarita & Mojitos Absolutely recommend going here. They weren't very busy and with how good the food is. They absolutely should be!

The waitress was very helpful, and made a few suggestions and answered all my questions. And the food did not disappoint: it was authentic, well-executed and flavorful. I tried the chicharones, which consisted of generous chunks of pork along with charred fat that was a tasty chew. On the advice of the waitress I got the steak dish, and was not disappointed. It was cooked to a tender medium rare, and was perfectly seasoned. I also got the tostones con queso, and they became one of my favorites. All told, it was a feast of familiar flavors and new flavors to me -- all cooked and presented well.

I ordered the chipotle chicken taco, salmon teriyaki taco, and the crispy fried fish taco, and all three were delicious. The flavors were unique and really well balanced. The salmon teriyaki taco was a standout for me; something a little different from your typical taco but it worked so well. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

It honestly reminded me of authentic Korean bulgogi, super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also had the fish taco, salmon taco, and one of their steak tacos, and across the board the meat and fish were really tender and well seasoned. Nothing was dry and everything had great flavor. I also ordered the drunken brisket burrito, and that thing is huge. I'm not even exaggerating when I say it could easily feed two people, maybe even three. The portion sizes here are seriously generous. I tried their wings too and those were amazing. The mix of seasonings and flavors they use really stands out. Overall everything was flavorful, the portions are big, and it's definitely one of those spots you tell your friends about like "yo, we gotta go back there."
