After my initial consultation, Evangelia gave me 3 options for ortho corrections: metal, ceramic, and Invisalign. Then I got 2 different types of payment options: payment in full and office financing with 0% interest. There are some discount incentives if you pay in full. I ended up going with Invisalign and the 0% office financing. To make things even better, I had a bunch of questions about my dental insurance that I didn't fully understand. Evangelia sorted out all the details so I was able to get an accurate quote. Fast forward 15-16 months, I am in the process of deciding when I should cancel my dental insurance and I was able to get assistance running the math! As for my teeth, they look amazing. Originally every orthodontist was telling me that I needed to undergo surgery to shave out the ends of some of my teeth but Dr. Lee said I didn't need to it. I also had a bunch of questions that Dr. Lee was able to square away for me throughout the 15-16 months. And any questions that I randomly had throughout the process was readily answered with a quick phone or email. Last note but they also do an amazing job with all the COVID precautions! They claimed my last scan was taken three months prior to completion and is "inaccurate," yet they successfully fabricated a final retainer for me at the end of treatment--which is impossible without an accurate final scan. This appears to be a misleading tactic to force me into a new office visit and a $500 fee for a new scan and retainer. Withholding records to coerce a sale is a violation of HIPAA (45 CFR § 164.524) and NY Law. I have officially filed a federal complaint (Case #683173) and a report with the NY State Board of Professional Discipline. I will update this review only once my legally-entitled records are released. I strongly advise others to be aware of these gatekeeping tactics before starting treatment here.
