I was by awe on my first visit, everything was explained in details and they try their best to assist you to make it happen for you. In my case, I had to get wired braces so I did the acrylic ones. It lasted 18 months and today was my day of removal. I had to get on here to make my rating! Dr Lee did a phenomenal Job as well as his workers. I went to a few dentists and orthodontists but I have never found a staff more professional than Braces and Smiles. Everyone remembers your name and follows up with any questions or concerns that you may have. They also text and call you the day before your appointment! After my initial consultation, Evangelia gave me 3 options for ortho corrections: metal, ceramic, and Invisalign. Then I got 2 different types of payment options: payment in full and office financing with 0% interest. There are some discount incentives if you pay in full. I ended up going with Invisalign and the 0% office financing. To make things even better, I had a bunch of questions about my dental insurance that I didn't fully understand. Evangelia sorted out all the details so I was able to get an accurate quote. Fast forward 15-16 months, I am in the process of deciding when I should cancel my dental insurance and I was able to get assistance running the math! As for my teeth, they look amazing. Originally every orthodontist was telling me that I needed to undergo surgery to shave out the ends of some of my teeth but Dr. Lee said I didn't need to it. I also had a bunch of questions that Dr. Lee was able to square away for me throughout the 15-16 months. And any questions that I randomly had throughout the process was readily answered with a quick phone or email. Last note but they also do an amazing job with all the COVID precautions! I just had my xrays done yesterday, I was a bit nervous. I made initial free consultation with 2 other locations but decided to go here in the end. Although price was 10% cheaper with the first place I went to. It was in flushing and I didn't know how many times I'd have to go there once the trays started, since Its a bit further out for me. 10% doesn't sound like too much but It was such a hard decision as a student. The location worked out for me, it was clean, the receptionist, the assistant were very nice. I only started so I'll keep this review updated. The person that took my X-ray had a face mask the whole time, and it was soo hard for me to understand her. I'm sure I had to say "excuse me" "can you repeat that" an annoying number of times. I'm sure it was for safety measures, but I feel like after the X-rays she could have taken them off to talk to me. I have high hopes for this place, and I'm so excited to finally get invisalign after years of thinking about it. I will say though when I left, I was not really given any additional information. The lady that did my X-ray just said okay you can leave. Which I almost did and then I was like wait so when do I come back? How long will this take? Do you call me or do I call you for updates? I asked the receptionist and she answered my questions. It wasn't the best feeling, because I just paid so much money, and I feel like all my questions should have been answered before I even asked them. But let's see where this journey takes me! As an adult, I was very hesitant to get braces. However, I got my consultation at Smiles and Braces and eventually moved to Jericho smiles which is their second location and closer to my work. I really appreciated the honesty that Dr.Lee stated and how he walked me through the braces procedure. I had to get some dental work done so I couldn't come back for another 6 months but they gave me the same price and the price was unbeatable. I opted for Invisalign. I was still doing my treatment when COVID forced businesses to shut down but Jericho Smiles kept me updated the whole time via email so I was never worried about the progress of my treatment. My treatment is completed on time and my teeth are straight which is honestly all I hoped for. As an added bonus, my jaw is now aligned as well which was shocking to me since another orthodontist said I need jaw surgery to correct it. The staff is also very accommodating. During my treatment, I had to get a lot of work done with my dentist so it delayed my process in getting the retainers but Dr.Lee and his staff made sure to work with my schedule and squeezed me into the schedule even when there was no appointments available just to make sure my teeth won't shift and my hard work won't go to waste. Being 36yrs old at the time I was quite conscious about the fact I needed to wear braces. It took many years of trying to convince myself to finally do this. I did go to many other orthodontist who told me I needed to remove teeth in order to straighten my over bite. In my case I didn't see that was necessary due to the fact I had a lot of space and an overbite as well. I was referred by my niece who had Dr.Lee do her braces. I found Dr. Lee through a random Internet search and I would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone who needs an orthodontist. I have been going there for over a year and a half. Update: 2 months after my new permanent retainer was put in, the right side (tooth 22) came off. This happened at the beginning of a 3 week trip to Hawaii. They made good on their warranty and offered to reimburse me for getting the repair done on island and set up an appointment for me to get a check up when I get back to NY. I was referred here from a dentist when my permanent retainer broke. They saw me on short noticed and even took me when I arrived to my appointment late. They also gave me a good deal on fixing my permanent retainer! I recommend checking them out. read more

Dr Lee was unprofessional and disrespectful. After putting his hands in my mouth he mumbled that he would take me as a patient. All I needed was a part of my fixed retainer that I have had for 17 years reattached. He then started to leave the room without explaining anything or talking about the cost. I then had to call him back to ask him what the plan was and how much. He told me 200$ for a little bit of glue. I said that doesn't seem right because I called my insurance and they said it was entirely covered because it shouldn't be more than 150$. He told that's what it was and if I didn't like it I can go somewhere else. So I did. 3 hours later I saw Dr Davids and she fixed the retainer for well under 200$ and it was covered entirely by my insurance. It was the principle of the matter. I don't plans to let someone into my mouth with no respect for me, or my wallet. Do not go to this guy. read more

I have been wearing Invisalign with dr. Lee for the past year and half. The whole process was nice and pleasant. And the result is great.

I have had a few people I know come here, having heard the "good reviews", I came for a consultation. I have minor teeth problems I wanted to fix with Invisalign and knew this was the place to go. At the office, a young looking orthodontist came in and reviewed my teeth. I explained to him that I wanted to straighten my front teeth because I am not happy with the way they looked. He then asked what I am trying to accomplish with the braces in a condescending manner after I pretty much answered his question already. I reiterated again that my front teeth were visibly not as straight as my bottom because there are gaps between my lateral and front incisors and wanted to fix them( minor fixes are what Invisalign is made for). The genius orthodontist then said from his point of view I didn't need any Invisalign and that the it wouldn't fix my problem. I insisted with him that I wanted to go through the process and was willing to pay whatever the cost, he repeated that nothing could be done. And rudely shook my hand, told his assistant to write down no treatment pursued and walked out. The orthodontist was a unhelpful as hell, so I got a second opinion from another orthodontist and was told Invisalign could definitely close any gaps and fix my teeth issues. I am now in the treatment I highly recommend you don't come here if you want to fix your teeth, Dr lee or whatever does not know what he's talking about read more
