Our appointment was confirmed ahead of time & all prerequisites complete with Flor R. Once we arrived, we waited 40 minutes past our appointment before anyone even greeted us. Come to find out, although Flor R had texted that morning, she wasn't ever coming in because she was "sick". Although an illness is completely understandable, at no point in her text did she mention she was sick and would not be showing up. Zero regards for the clients time & completely unprofessional conduct. Furthermore, Flor R failed to even try to make amends or reschedule in order to help alleviate the situation. But when I went for second one, they said you did not have an appointment, you had to make new one. Also, for third session, I made an appointment 2 times but then I canceled before 24 hours ago. When I went there for third session, they told me you did not canceled 24 hours ago so you had to pay cancelation fee. I said please check your system. After that, she said ok you called us 24 hours ago for first cancelation but for second one you still had to pay. I did not pay anything. After half an hour, they said ok we did not charge you. Then, I got third session but it was just half an hour instead of an hour. I do not think to go there next time. read more

Upon making my appts for my gift I was informed that they could Not honor this Groupon as I was already a client and the Groupons are to bring in new clients. I have tried numerous times to come to a resolution with Laser Derm. I still have Groupons for other services but it's just not worth it. The employees don't Care to do right by me. Don't you ever come to this place. I purchased a spray tan because I am getting married and I wanted to try it out before my wedding. Well; unfortunately, it did not go as planned. The entire spray tan got smeared all over, my arm pits turned green all over, my belly had marks and lines all over. The girl who did it was very sweet but when she realized it had gone wrong she did not know how to handle it. I got upset and I told her all I wanted to do was to get dressed and leave that place, she forgot to mention that she was not done and she needed to dry me, instead she called her manager to schedule me to come back at another day. The manager came out with sun glasses and apologized and offered to schedule me again. I called back asking for a refund instead of me coming back and they said they don't do that and that they will call me back-of course they have not. I took a chance and got a Groupon for a 60 minutes massage and 3 treatments for microderm abrasion. Man am I glad I did. First of all the staff are very friendly and the place is comfortable. Manuel did my massage and was so very attentive. His hands are magical. He did a combination of medium and forum that I wanted to go on forever. Karitza followed that up with my facial treatment. Great experience with a spray tan! I used to be a sun worshiper so have lots of sun damage on my lower legs and when I tried fake tan lotions or spray-on tans at Palm Beach Tan (where you go in a booth by yourself), it always made my sun damage spots really dark and looked way worse. But after giving this professional spray tan a try, I'm sold. Crystal was able to customize where the spray went (light pass over shins and face) and blended everything perfectly so that it looks very very natural and the sun spots were not exacerbated. I'm fair skinned so did the lightest setting of spray and I love the results! It's sun-kissed without any orange. And no weird streaks around the feet or fingers. We had to reschedule our appointment and so my sister did me the favor and called to cancel. The employee made an error and only canceled one of our appointments and claimed that's all she was aware of which made absolutely no sense since we were going together. She tried to cover her error in front of her boss but it ended in a completely rude and unprofessional conversation (she interrupted me several times over the phone) and threatened us with fees. Purchased a deal on GROUPON for my mom. She was looking for a local teeth whitening and we found a deal for $45. We were able to call in and schedule an appointment for the next week. When she arrived the service was friendly. She reported that the teeth whitening procedure was quick and painless, and that the attendant warned her that her teeth may develop some sensitivity in the next couple of days. They also recommended that she try a whitening tooth paste for an additional price. All in all, she paid an extra $30 in merchandise and tip. For the next couple of weeks, we monitored her sensitivity and whitening, but did not notice any significant change in color. She was a little disappointed, but continued to use the whitening toothpaste. I think the results vary from one person to another; and overall the experience was positive. No complaints at all, I've read some of the negative Yelp reviews and I honestly do not understand how it went so wrong for those customers because I have referred at least 5 people here and they all have loved it as well. Okay experience, but I won't be returning. My husband purchased a facial/massage Groupon for me for Christmas and I was super thrilled for a day of pampering (or 2 hours of pampering, whatever, haha). I scheduled both services back-to-back, but was called a few days prior to my appointment to be informed that the masseuse was unavailable and would be so for an undetermined amount of time. I decided to stick w just the facial on the originally scheduled day since I was so looking forward to some relaxation, and was told I would be contacted to reschedule my massage when they had more information about the masseuse's availability. I would rate my facial 5/10. The esthetician was *super* duper nice, but the experience wasn't very relaxing and felt like something I could have done for myself at home. I figured that's okay, my face is nice and clean and I'll follow up with my massage soon. FOUR weeks later, no follow-up call, not even to say that they didn't forget me and are still working on a schedule. I called to schedule my massage and was told the soonest available massage was a month away. When I arrived for my massage (only 6-7 minutes early, I should have known to leave more time), the girls at the front seemed very nice, but very scattered. They couldn't locate my file at first, then handed me paperwork to complete a few minutes after my appointment time had started. They were very busy, I can understand that, but I was feeling bummed to already be cutting into my massage time. BUT, Mary (the masseuse) swooped in very quickly and hurried me back to the room as soon as my paperwork was complete. She didn't waste a minute and started working on me right away, which put me at ease. She gave a very thorough, solid massage, and a very relaxing experience. There wasn't a mirror in the room as I was getting dressed, so I couldn't check myself over before leaving. I paid a tip at the front desk and chatted w the girl there for a moment before returning to my car and realizing I had mascara smeared badly under my eyes. I'm so glad that I went to my car instead of shopping at the adjoining stores. I was embarrassed and wished the girl would have mentioned something to me. Overall, it was an okay experience for the price, but there are Groupons out there for the same price and a better experience (Shawna at Benjamin Hair & Co gave me the best facial I've ever had!). I bought this Groupon years ago and had a regular facial done-wasn't great, but I wanted to give them another try cause I want to find a good aesthetician. I guess they have you sign a paper that says you can't use a Groupon again for any type of facial. 3 years later, I bought a Microdermabrasion Groupon (hesitant to try someone else and see if they got better) and they tell me they can't refund or change the service since I did not remember signing anything like that. First let me state how awesome and friendly the staff is. Then the fluffy couches in the waiting room along with Netflix and hot green tea brought to me. The treatment were excellent. I had my teeth whitened and a microdermabrasion facial. Every step of the way they were so caring. Designed to you and making sure it's all about you without pushing products (because that gets old real damn fast). I ended up loving my products so much I chose to buy them on my own, at the point the lovely lady who did my facial helped me to find the right items. I purchased a Groupon for teeth whitening and scheduled appointment today at 3:00pm. This was booked a couple weeks ago and I confirmed my appointment through the text reminder. I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork and did so as expected. However, I became concerned when over 20 had passed and not once was I checked on. When I approached the front desk, I was told that there was another appointment and my services were "just a whitening" but I'd be brought back immediately. I felt very under appreciated as a new client and under valued perhaps for using a Groupon. My appointment was ultimately rescheduled because my experience was so humiliating in front of the other clients. I'm hesitant on returning for my rescheduled appointment in fear of repeating the same experience. Unfortunately for me, the front desk marked my Groupon as redeemed when I had checked in, so I cannot ask for a refund and this may just be a loss for me. I'm truly dissatisfied and disappointed in today's experience. read more

My husband and daughters got me a certificate here for my birthday good for a facial and massage. When I arrived for my appt., they could not locate the certificate (even though it was online) and I should them the email that my husband had sent me but they literally turned me away and told me to find the certificate number and rescheduled me for the next day. Luckily, my husband was able to locate that so I tried again. Arrived and was told on the spot that they don't have a massage therapist today. They apologized and offered a complimentary facial to make up for this inconvenience. I thought that was nice of them until today...when I came back for my complimentary facial and massage. Only to be told again that they actually don't even have a massage therapist on staff. They are looking to hire one as an independent contractor who makes their own schedule etc. I mean, maybe don't sell certificates for services that you can't actually control. So after not getting a massage for a 2nd time (on my 3rd trip there actually), I asked if they could sub that out with a service that is similar in price point because they clearly don't even offer massage and I want to redeem the full value of my certificate. They said sure...how about another facial or microderm. I schedule my microderm for next month. Only now I got a phone call from them today saying nevermind. They will be charging me for that appt but will be nice and offer it at a discount for me for the "miscommunication". I was appalled that they were seriously going to charge me for something that was already paid for. On top of the shady billing and appointment practices, the actual services I've had have been mediocre at best. I would consider myself fairly experienced in the world of spa services and this place lacks professionalism, etiquette, and general common sense when it comes to running a business. If you let a 3rd party, unaffiliated independent contractor (massage therapist) create this many issues for you then that's a huge business model flaw, especially when you then tell clients they will have to pay for something that they've already paid for and you give something to them then go back and take it away. Unbeliveable! Run from these people as fast as you can!!! There are so many other better places to choose from. read more

I purchased two Groupons to try out this spa. I went in for a micro dermabrasion treatment. They requested my ID and took a copy of it, very odd for a place that doesn't have any services that are covered by insurance. When I asked why, the receptionist shrugged and said "It's just policy" in a cold manner. She had me complete 3 pages of paperwork that was mostly initialing and signing all their policies about no- show appointments, arriving late and children. She put me in the waiting room to complete the paperwork and shut the door. There weren't any windows from the waiting room to the rest of the spa, it just felt very cold and not welcoming. It was ironic when the spa tech brought me into the room about 10 minutes after my scheduled service time after having to sign their late arrival policy. The spa tech told me that she didn't recommend that I have the service because I had used a certain topical treatment for acne recently. I agreed because I didn't want to scar my skin. She said that they may have to charge me for the session, so she called her manager to confirm. Her manager directed her that they would have to charge me because they have to "fill myg slot." I argued this because no one informed me that I shouldn't use that product when I made the appointment or when they confirmed. The spa tech argued with me then called me rude...she stated "it's just policy." Funny, that wasn't policy at all. No place in all of their policies did it say that you shouldn't use that product before the service and if you do, you will be charged for a visit. Luckily, Groupon customer service came to the rescue and reimbursed me for both vouchers. I will never go to this place and don't recommend it to anyone else unless you want really poor customer service. read more

One star review because of results and satisfaction . First I must say I was quoted one price on the phone then another in person. Apparently the "new girl" got the prices wrong but some how that was my issue and not theirs ? False advertising in terms of bad training . It wasn't a huge deal to me so I purchased a 4 package laser hair removal . While receiving the services I was happy and felt that the service was working but what they fail to tell you is that once you STOP service your hair grows back as normal. I am completely aware that the hair was not to be removed forever but TWO months after service and my hair comes back normal doesn't seem right. I called to ask question and the girl kept telling me I can buy more sessions but failed to address the real issue. The fact I've already paid 300+ dollars and was being told to buy more sessions that didn't work the first time didn't settle with me . Really upset at the way they treat their customers. I missed my second appointment due to a last minute conflict. When they called me the night before I let them know I couldn't make it, they said it was against their policy to reschedule WITHOUT charging me $35 (which is more than the cost of one visit) so I said no worries and scheduled my third and last appointment. When I showed up they refused to honor the 3rd and last visit of my Groupon unless I paid the $35 FOR MISSING MY SECOND APPOINTMENT. Understand, they were paid for that appointment AND WANTED TO TACK ON $35 EXTRA. In addition to being poor business practice, it is illegal. Not worth my time to take them to Court, Groupon gave me a partial refund so received $40 of the $60 I paid, but unethical companies like these who take advantage of their female clientele need to be called out. read more

This place never changes the sheets after a client, they don't have warning laser signs, they have mirrors in the laser rooms, you only get $10 an hour but you don't get a set amount of hours, you don't make commission and you don't get your tips, such a money guzzler. read more
