This was my first time here, and I was wanting a dip-manicure as a walk in (didn't make an appointment). The front desk woman was super helpful and accommodating, and I was seated to have my nails done within 15 minutes! I can't quite remember the name of the sweet woman that did my nails (Noki, I think?) but she did an AMAZING job. I showed her an inspiration photo off of pinterest, and my nails ended up being identical to the photo (pics attached)!! She was very easy to converse with, and her service was exceptional. I worked all weekend on my feet and decided a pedicure with calf and foot massage was needed. Eli arrived at my chair with her sweet, cheerful personality and offered me a drink (non alcoholic) and went over my choices on the menu. I came in for a mani pedi, and ended up getting a 90 minute massage as well. All of my services were great. I loved that they took their time removing my tips and acrylic. Most nail techs rush and file off layers of the natural nail. My nails still feel strong after having them removed here. My massage was amazing. I fell asleep at one point. It was a full body massage, including the feet. Aromatherapy was also included. Aroma options are jasmine, peppermint, lavender, and I believe maybe one other that I can't remember. I chose Jasmine. It was so soothing. I didn't get the name of the guy who did my massage, but I wish I had so I can request him the next time I'm in town. I decided to get a manicure on a whim and trusted the Yelp reviews in order to find this gem in a city I was unfamiliar with. There is a coffee and tea station at the front of the salon though there were no cups, so I was confused if it was self serve or not. Luckily, the lady at the counter eventually came by to ask what I wanted and brought my requested green tea over to me. The salon is pretty therapeutic and regardless of whether you're a believer or not, the Christian music softly playing in the background is quite relaxing. There's really nothing better than calming music and Food Network. I chose the Shellac gel manicure ($35) and was given a bunch of color options once I sat down. I chose a pastel baby blue color as well as a holographic sparkly blue color for my ring fingers. I guess this addition constituted as a "special design" or maybe because the holographic color used a dip powder that there was a $5 upcharge. I wish I would have know and I would have just paid $40 to have dip powder on all fingers. There was quite a bit of a wait between when I picked out a color and when I met my assigned esthetician. The long wait is forgiven though because he was extremely meticulous and did a PERFECT job on my nails. This will be my go-to nail salon whenever I'm in San Antonio! read more

I made an appt for 11am for a facial and massage. I have been here before for a massage which was ok and also had my nails done here. Also ok. But when I was there before at least the people were friendly even if the finished product wasn't fabulous. This time I get there a little early, was asked to fill out paperwork and told the technician was finishing up her last client and would be with me in a minute. No problem at that time. At 1105 someone came by took my paperwork and said they would be with me in a little bit. Ok. 1110, 1115 no word I see some staff getting ready for a pedicure- others wandering around in the back but no one has yet to give me an update. My time is valuable too and so is my decision to give you my money. At 1120, I thought will now your cutting into my time for both services and it was kind of rude to have me waiting and not say its going to be another 25 or 30 minutes and treating me like a walk in instead of my scheduled appt. So I just left, no fussing, no tirades, not a talk with the receptionist. I gave the same energy they gave me. And here's what I think of that treatment. Do better. read more

I went here for eyelash extensions and I had Kathy do them. Process took about 90 minutes and being it my first time, they were patient in answering my questions and the lashes look natural. I would recommend my friends here. It's $159 FYI for those who are brand new for the individual lashes to be placed and to have it look natural. For the fuller eyelashes which is just a strip, I believe it's less in price but not sure how much for sure. I also got a dip done here as well as a pedicure. Dip costed $39 and the basic pedi was for $35 so not a bad deal. The color is holding up really well after being out and about during the weekend. They are requiring face masks for those who are coming for service so just FYI. They took their time and were very conscious about their work. They were great. I think the problem is the product they use for dipped nails. My nails cracked the next day while putting on my seatbelt, and I had to go in and get one fixed. The technician was so great! She ended up fixing a few other nails she was not happy with. Unfortunately, within the next few days they all cracked and today when doing to dishes one fell off completely and another fell off picking something up from the floor. Just after 6 days. As you can see in the picture I literally have a coffee cup in my hand and drank two cups of my complimentary coffee. The man about 8 feet away from me was eating a snack and drinking water he even has his hands up to his face. She was mad because she made a fool of herself. She forgot her shoes (they were on the floor next to her seat) she walked back in, didn't see them, and then accused the staff of taking her shoes. When I arrived they were 15 minutes late getting me into a room. They explained they had over booked and would have to do my massage in their waxing room. The lights are bright and fluorescent- so to help "dim" the lights they wrapped a towel around my head. (Yes, seriously). Also, I was never talked to- all previous massages were handled with care, they asked about trouble spots etc. This one was awful. Rushed. They clearly didn't care. When I explained to the manager she was rude and combative. I gave her multiple chances to apologize, and she continued to insist there was nothing wrong with the service- so I left. Anyway, they were super patient while I picked a color which is always hard for me to do. She even let me try it on a finger before we got going to make sure it was neutral enough. I came in for a massage, a facial & a pedicure. Let me say this 1st as soon as I walked in I noticed the Christian music playing & the scripture on the wall. Right away I felt at ease. I was promptly checked in and started my services. The massage was very relaxing not my usual deep tissue massages I get elsewhere (my husband set this spa day up) but relaxation was the goal & it was accomplished. I don't think I've ever fell asleep during a massage. My facial was was great there was a lot going on but oddly they didn't use tools to extract my black & white heads. I went in to get valentine nails well I walked out paying $70 & plain buffed nails, now going elsewhere to get my v dy nails. I was told the price for acrylic removed is $25 after 1 hand had already been removed & was asked if it was ok on the price, really? Your half way done & your askin me so i said "wow thats alot just to take off" the gentleman said 'yes we raised the price for acrylic removal because it takes longer.' Really well your online is $5-20 how is that price determined. It honestly didn't take him long the same time as dip powder removal.. I wanted heart designs (showed a photo), he said i can "try to do it," I then decided i would just get the manicure, no design or polish bcz he wasnt confident he could do design not to mention the price, walk out paying $37 pedi+25 removal+(tip) for plain jane nails i could've done myself at home. Ha! I left disappointed, then get a call to go back bcz he had overcharged me for shellac that he didnt do, he said he would 'have them credit me the next day,' i said "how will it be credited i paid CASH," he then said to go back & he would refund the difference. I went back got my $ & left definitely wont ever be back thats for sure. Unfortunately can't take the tip back lol bcz obviously he didnt deserve it. .They really need to get coordinated bcz the staff is all over the place noone knows what to do or how, sad because its a very nice & clean salon & centrally located to the med center but aside from that service needs significant improvement!
