The boss explained different tans I could do & I ended up getting a monthly membership. I stopped due to my move costing so much but came back as soon as my money got up. FAITH has been amazing! She literally makes coming in an experience, a vibe really. The other girls just help you get set up but Faith actually shows interest & has me leaving in a better mood, than I walk in with. It's to the point where I ask when does she work, so I can go in then. The magic tan, however, is amazing! I love it so much. I've had so many compliments on my tan too! read more

Here we are a year later and they are STILL charging my bank!!!!!!!!!! This place is absolutely horrible!! I was NOT to stay paying for ANYTHING and I've just pinpointed charges on my bank that have been reoccurring for a whole year after I asked to be completely refunded and did not agree to stay active w them. She suggested I could try a different bed when I had time and go from there. I tried another bed two days after her comment and it was just a hot and miserable so I told them face to face to cancel everything and I was assured it was. WOW!!!! I don't even live in Texas anymore either! I will be disputing this with my bank! What a fraud!!! read more

Had been quite awhile since I'd been to a tanning salon. Needless to say, I was a bit hesitant. Although, "Gloria" took all hesitations away. Not only was she very thorough in educating me and out the tanning beds & products but she was very professional and patient. Salon is in a great location and very, very clean. I am soo glad to have come to this business. Emma was the one who helped me. She is kind, engaging, beyond helpful. She speaks very well, knows about the beds and memberships. I visited another tanning salon, ( not tansations) one location had a bubblehead and the other location had 2 girls too busy with their cell phones. so I'm glad they didn't care because Emma more than made up for it. The girl at the front was very friendly explained the options on beds and fees, but when I went back the next day (different girl at desk) I was told that there is a 24 hour waiting period. That was frustrating that I had to drive all that way to then be informed. If you are a new customer, this should have been explained upfront. read more

Alright, lean in close...every once in a while...I tan. Don't tell my husband. I know it is not 2002, so let me take care of that confession. This place is wonderful. Reasonably priced, one time tanning, never packed, friendly staff who don't push product, very pretty boutique clothing and jewelry for affordable prices. Nice place. Was very pleased when I signed up for 1 month.... AND THEN... I got hit by a drunk driver only 4 days in to my contract...The guy totaled my truck and I'm glad I'm alive... So... I showed up the last week of my contract to tan finally and told the owner guy what happened... (I couldn't tan for a couple of weeks after the car wreck.) Well, he made no attempt or offer to offer me back the two weeks I missed out on. He isn't obligated obviously, however, it would have been nice to not had to waste $100 + tax on 4 or 5 tans. #dontdrinkanddrive! read more

Tansations has 2 locations and is the best tanning establishment in San Antonio, spray tans are AMAZING in the versa spa pro and they only use the best product. Beds are always maintained and it is a very clean salon. I recommend using their lotions while you tan i never looked to toned tanned and glowly in my life read more

I love this establishment!! I can't say that enough. A few months ago I went to the Stone Oak location and instantly knew that whenever I come to San Antonio that I would be a repeat customer. Yesterday I went in as a walk-in for the first time at the Castle Hills location and met Erika Valdez. She is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable right when I walked through the door. She is very knowledgeable and helped me make the right decisions about which products to use. Both locations have very friendly staff and I would recommend them both anytime. read more

Tansations is the best place to go to for a tan. It has 2 locations but I am closest to this one and enjoy it very much. I'm so glad I found this place, it is my go to when I need to be golden I used to tan at other places and wouldn't get the best tan while paying a lot for it. Here, there is still a great selection of beds to choose from or spray tanning w AMAZING prices you just can't beat. Not to mention, my tan is always on point looking so beautiful!! I could never successfully tan like this at other places. I do pair my tanning experience with some lotions. I always choose iblack. The lotions help, unlike at other tanning salons. & these lotions aren't high prices either. Since the day I walked in, Katie has helped me and has been amazing!!! I only come in on the days that she is there. Since I met her, she has been kind, informative, knowledgeable, always looking out for me, and sweet of course. She's never had a terrible attitude. (And trust me that's hard to find, especially at the other tanning places the ladies are not pleasant) We always chat and carry on a great conversation when I arrive. That makes my tanning experience even more great, also because when there's great customer service it keeps people coming back. I always get a sunbed tan and every time I go to tan it's always clean in the room, the bed is clean, and it has a towel and protective goggles every time. That's important to make sure things are sanitary and this place gets 5 stars!! I go in weekly and get my tan and I enjoy everything about Tansations. I've been tanning here off and on for a year or so. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is always helpful and provide great customer service but the real, exceptional service, is from the owner. He is very knowledgeable and a true expert in this industry. He knows exactly what bed type and the minutes to maximize my tan (I personally like just a basic "natural" looking tan). I recently went in 1 week before an event asking for help to get from stark white to a healthy glow, without a burn. The owner educated me, put me in the right bed for the right time even having me get out 2 min early, had a stool adjusted so I could just do my legs those last 2 min...so I would not burn in the more sensitive areas. I'm very impressed and will take my daughter for spray tans for her high school functions. If she chooses to tan at 18, I will insist she go to this location so she doesn't over do it, ending in that look orange and/or "leathery" look I see so many over-tanners have... and can benefit from the owner's knowledge. read more
