I've bought several different packages for laser hair removal here and everything has always been fine until today, but today was so bad I'll never go back. I no longer live in Mass so while I was home visiting family last November I made an appointment, and the tech I had told me I still had a few sessions left but they never expire so I could just use them the next time I was home. I'm back visiting again this week, so a few weeks ago I called ahead and confirmed the number of sessions left and made an appointment. The person I spoke with even left a note in their computer system summarizing everything, that I had enough left to cover 4 of the 6 areas I wanted done and I'd pay for the remaining 2 areas. Cut to today, this tech wasn't sure how many sessions I had left so she got another woman (manager?) who immediately got this horrible attitude and said I had no sessions left and would have to pay up front for everything. No apology for their mistake, no explanation for how they suddenly "lost" 4 sessions, no offer for a discount since they massively messed up (you can't just spring hundreds of dollars in extra charges on someone!!) but what upset me the most was that she was acting like it was MY fault, like I somehow arranged this to scam / steal from them. I've never been so insulted in my life. At that point I knew I'd just have to leave because I couldn't afford spending hundreds more than what I'd planned on, but I wanted her to at least understand and acknowledge how crazy this was - their shoddy records means I have two of their employees telling me I that I have 4 sessions left; one employee who isn't sure what the records say, and one employee who says I have 0 session left. That's nuts, how can anyone trust them? Customers should be able to rely on what representatives of the business tell them, especially since she (manager?) confirmed that they did indeed have a message in their computer system stating that I had 4 sessions left, but they wouldn't honor it. I pointed out that I called weeks in advance to sort this out, then relied on their info to change my schedule, borrow a car, drive an hour and a half each way to get there, all for them to "lose" my sessions and her dismissive response was "well we lost an hour appointment slot so we're hurting too. We're already 30 minutes into the appointment time - what's your decision?" I pointed out that we're only 30 mins in because the tech was 20 mins late. She just kind of grunted. (Also, I was there 20 mins early so we had 40 mins total during which this billing issue could have been handled, but all the front desk staff were too busy calling people hawking Botox "get in now before the prices go up next month!" Their methods just seem... Ick.) So to summarize it sounds like I got screwed out of at least 4 pre-paid sessions, but since I've bought several packages that got commingled together, and it takes so long to use them up, and they are the ones who keep the log of appointments and they do such a terrible job at it, I'd have no way to prove it. I now also suspect that a few times when I went in and they'd say "oh we can't treat X today cause you look like you got sun (I didn't) or we double booked appointments and don't have enough time, etc, I think they may still have counted me as "using" those sessions.) To top it all off they acted like I was a freaking thief. I'd steer far clear of this place. As other reviewers have said the new management is rude and as I witnessed today they're focused on nothing but sales, and they seem shady as heck, but if you do decide to go here keep VERY thorough records of exactly what you bought, dates used, etc for your own protection. read more

DO NOT DO ULTRASHAPE!!!!! I paid $3000 for permanent fat removal on my stomach. I work out regularly and eat very healthy. I just have that extra pudge around my belly which I can't get rid of. I was assured that I was an excellent candidate for this procedure as I was in good shape and my fat was isolated. I went through a series of 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart. I am the same weight as I was when I began and the difference in my stomach is less than 2 cm. It is so insignificant. If I had known that this would be the result, I would have just had traditional liposuction. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I went in to speak the manager, and was told she was busy but would call me back to discuss this issue. She still hasn't. I am disgusted. read more

I just finished my last session for underarm laser hair removal, and I felt that I HAD to write a review. Mind you, I have not reviewed much in the past few years. My last experience, less than 30 minutes ago, made me so upset that I think that it should be known. Up until this point, I have been extremely happy with the location, cleanliness, results, and the staff. I usually have Shannon, who is the sweetest and very good at what she does. My results have been excellent. The girl I just had was the first bad experience I have had in almost a year here. I just saw Amanda, and I felt that she was rude, and judged me because I was wearing gym clothes (I'm sorry- I've been up for 14 hours so far, worked as a nurse and small business owner, now about to get to go workout finally today). I explained to the nurse that I saw before her that I had a spray tan a few weeks ago and that was why parts of my arm were discolored. She didn't have a problem with that at all. When I told Amanda, she said, "we're doing your underarms so it doesn't matter", then went on to scrub my underarms (I understand that she was doing her best to get the remaining bits of color off), and when I suggested I come back if that made it easier, she didn't think it was necessary. However, she went on to educate me that I shouldn't be spray tanning 2 weeks prior ( I let her know that I must have misunderstood, as I thought it applied only to regular tanning), then she said "Well, we ask you every time before hand, it's protocol", which I responded that I've never been asked about spray tanning so I wasn't aware. Again, if it was an issue, I could reschedule. We agreed that she would just do a smaller area, because at that point, I wanted to move things along so I could finish doing my errands. When I was Checking out, it was like she had satisfaction in announcing I had no more sessions left of my Groupon. I still tipped her (minimal, but I'm not a jerk). Little does she know that her attitude comes off as rude and unwelcoming, and I could very well afford a FULL PRICE package, but I would rather save some money. I'm hoping this was just a bad day for her, but the management should be aware of how some of their staff could turn loyal clients off. read more

I tried another laser place before, and after 8 treatments I still wasn't even close to hair-free. I decided to try Laser Gentle in Braintree from a Groupon and am so glad I did. Everything was modern and professional, and best of all I was WOW'd by the laser. After one treatment I had more hair loss than the 8 with the other laser. Will definitely be buying more services from them. I'm surprised by the negative reviews about being pushed to buy more. I had no problem using my Groupon for my first purchase and have not been pushed to buy anything since starting there, and I just did my fourth session, so maybe it was the specific person they worked with? I've had both Kristi and Erin as my techs and they've been fabulous and knowledgeable. I'd recommend to anyone. read more

I wish I could chose not to give this place one star. I purchased a Brazilian laser hair removal and it didn't work!!! I could have sworn I had one more appointment left because I tracked them and the woman on the phone insisted I didn't and that I would have to purchase more. She was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not that the one more appointment would have helped but now I will never know if it would have! At first I raved about this place, recommending it to people thinking it was the best thing and all my hair would be gone but boy was I wrong! I wish I never recommended this place to anyone and I feel awful that people are wasting their money on something that I recommended and won't work! I am updating this post because i received a call from Kristy, manager at Laser MD trying to understand the reason for my previous negative post. This alone is a great initiative to show that management cares. After all, it doesnt take much to please a reasonable client, or does it!? She was apologetic and admitted the mistake on part of the specialist. I was honestly impressed bcz i was not expecting to hear back from them. Overall, my laser treatments were great, the wait time is average and can be improved, Kristy's service skills are exemplary. I will be going back for my last treatment and maybe more ... I am leaving my previous negative post for ur judgement! "I can not say enough bad things about service at this location. The laser treatment itself is great i definitely recommend it, hair free yeah!!! 8 treatments and i was never, not even once, taken on time, always 20 to 45 mins later than appt time. I didn't get the feeling of professionalize. I received juviderm injectable in my lips and Botox area eye area. The tech. Did not seem to put a lot of effort and time into the procedure and I felt very rushed. I had lip injections and have had them injected in the past but this overall experience was not as professional as others. In turn my lips are a mess and over done. Some areas are uneven and look terrible. I was in and out of the procedure in 15 minutes. It's was a lot of money to spend and feel that there should have been more effort on the techs part. Now I'm stuck with these ridiculous lips threat are not balanced and uneven. I would not recommend anyone going to this establishment. read more

I just completed 6 sessions of laser hair removal on my underarms with Kristi and I couldn't be happier. I noticed a difference after just 1 session, so after 6 I'm thrilled with the results. I wish I had done this 10 years ago instead of suffering through waxing and shaving and in-grown hairs! Kristi is fabulous. She puts you at ease and makes you feel very comfortable no matter how undressed you are. She warned me that I would be so happy with the results I would want to do other areas, and she was right! Have been going here for the last several months for laser hair removal. Very clean facility and the staff is overly friendly. After my third visit, I could see a difference in the coarseness and volume of hair. Though I've had several technicians perform the laser treatment on me, they were all very nice and professional. My only complaint is that they really push sales. I was curious about Ultherapy and asked about it. That ended up with them pushing me to purchase the service during my next couple visits. After they realized I wasn't going to purchase it, they stopped and were still pleasant to me. Overall a great place for laser hair removal. read more

I am in the process of having 6 sessions of laser hair removal on my underarms and am very pleased. The process is quick and hurts no more than having your underarms waxed. After my first session I noticed an immediate difference in my hair growth during the following weeks. I had less hair growing back and it was not as coarse as before! I only needed to shave once a week to remove what had grown back. I went for my second session last week and saw Erin. She was great! I'm definitely going to purchase laser packages for other areas of my body! read more

I hated my experience there. It was a RIP OFF!!! Some of the staff was very unprofessional, rude, impatient and most of all, not well trained or knowleadgeable about the treatment.They are overworked, overbooked and running late most of the time. I did NOT get the results I was promissed. Two off my sessions were a wash off. like they did not exist as one of the technicians, Adrianna, was horrible. It looks like she was in training and did not do a good job. For my last session my regular tech was out so i got stuck with her again... Needless to say more. I gor RIPPED of two sessions. Just returned from my appointment at Laser MD in Braintree. I was a client for laser treatment and after my upper lip, facial treatments ended I was given an appointment after the summer to make sure there were no hairs. I went to the appointment today. After making me fill out their new paperless computer pad forms for 20 minutes (because now there needs to be nurse oversight - so it will be more expensive - I was told I would have to purchase a package with three treatments to insure there was no more hair. The interim manager of whom I was a client understood customer satisfaction and treating clients like loyal customers. Today I was dismissed without care that they wasted my time traveling to their office. Also previously there was always at least 3-5 clients in the waiting area, today I was there for over 20 minutes and no one was there with me. Shows how badly this place has deteriorated. read more

I got a groupon for iLipo. So i went in for my consult. The person asks me where i'd like to do it, i show her. She pokes me once in that area and says iLipo wouldn't work. She then "quotes" me a $3k procedure and says, don't worry you can finance it. Umm no? Didn't even suggest another way to use my groupon and so i had to return it via Groupon and now just have lots of Groupon $s. Very rude and abrupt. Just trying to get you in there to upsell you on some other ridiculous package. read more

When I had my first consultation with Kristi she was very easy to talk to and she was very informative about the services that I was seeking. I had laser done with Sarah and Erin. Very impressed with this place. I'd bought a groupon a few months ago and saw Wendy for Botox. I had to bring my kids with me, and not only did she do a great job with the procedure, but despite that they were busy, she didn't make me feel like my kids were a nuisance (which I was worried about). In fact, she was so phenomenal with them that it enabled me to have the procedure done without them even realizing what I was having done! Also, in regards to my experience with booking the appointment, I'd left a message stating that I don't live in the area but would be in Boston that day, so was really hoping I could be seen at that time. Despite that they were booked, someone called me back and made the effort to squeeze me in, which I was not at all expecting but GREATLY appreciated. It's this type of service and professionalism that would bring me back even if I didn't have a groupon. I couldn't have asked for a better, and left feeling so pleased with my experience! 5 stars all the way! read more

Im a client and not satisfied , they keep on changing staff and pretty disorganized. Paid a lot of money for Ultra shape ( fat removal with laser ) and didn't even lose an inch. I recently had my first session for my laser hair removal and went with an extended full bikini. I purchased the 6 session for extra large. My consultation went great and I was really excited. However, when I went for my first session, I was expecting the process to take 15 minutes. It was more like 5. I was very surprised. I don't know if that is how it goes or if the lady I had rushed. I haven't had great results yet, but I am hoping my next session doesn't seem so in and out. read more

Awful customer service at the Braintree location. I called this morning to gather some information about their services and the gentleman who answered my phone call provided no assistance or information. He simply kept repeating that I needed to come in for a consultation in order to answer simple questions such as how far out are you booking appointments. I live about 45 minutes away from Braintree and was hoping to get simple questions answered over the phone in order to understand if it would be worth my time to drive this far. I suppose the lack of general information on services provided and basic people skills of the receptionist gave me one of the answers I needed: it will NOT be worth my time to travel to this establishment. read more

Wow! This is the amazing place,new clean and comfortable! I had a facial with Koly last Wednesday. She completely removed out all the blackheads and gave a professional facial massage which my skin felt very clean and smooth. Koly recommended me their ginseng products a try for my dry and sensitive skin. I have been trying many different skin care products, but this is the one I highly recommended to those sensitive skin. This place is a scam with dishonest and disgruntled employees, so stay away from this place to save yourself both time and money. After calling the front desk and asked about which Groupon option I should purchase, I made an appointment for the initial consultation and went ahead to buy the groupon because the girl who answered the phone told me I could do it. When I went to the initial consultation, the woman who claimed herself as the logistics manager asked me to get a refund from a groupon and buy the package from them for the same price. I am not sure it violates their contract with groupon since I am assuming Groupon gets a certain percentage for every sale, and by doing so, they are advertising on Groupon for free to gain customers while not giving groupon any chance to make money. The manager insisted that I can only treat the area listed under groupon even though the area I want is exactly the same price as it is listed online. Long story short, she was rude, impatient, and unprofessional. After I told her that I confirmed with the front desk about the purchase and I was not willing to get the package from them because the other person I talked to told me different things. She obviously got mad and went out to talk to "the owner" and asked me to sign the contract first although she did not specifically tell me that I will be able to use the groupon I purchased. I was really thrown off by that because I know I would not be able to get my refund if I signed the contract and they told me I can't use it later. Obviously I am not the first customer to ever have this experience at this place, and there are plenty of laser hair removal deals online so go somewhere else! read more

I really like the staff at Laser MD in Braintree. I had a terrible experience with Wendy the nurse who did my Juviderm and Botox. I have been there four times. The first two times Wendy was very friendly and we swapped stories about divorce and our children. The third time that I visited for a Juviderm adjustment as she did not massage the Juviderm on the left side of my face when I had it done and it looks unnatural. Wendy greeted the first client that I observed her going into the back room with with a hug and big smile and left her with a hug and big smile. She greeted her second client with a smile and appeared not to know this client as well. She greeted me stone faced and then went on to pretend that I had come in for more Juviderm work. She said that my face would look more natural with time and made no adjustments. I then inquired about Botox and she expressed disbelief that ten units would do anything for me even though I have done ten units before and been very happy with the noticeable difference. I already see a huge difference with the Botox work and am happy with having had that done. I think that if you are going to treat clients in a negative way that you probably don't want them coming back. I have started to look elsewhere and apparently she won't miss me! Not sure what went wrong but left me feeling badly about myself even though I am a confident person. It's just such drastic differences in treatment as a client is confusing and brings up doubt. read more

I couldn't complete the 8th appointment because my tattoo had looked the same as it did when I started, so I decided to go see an actual professional. It was the most painful process every single time & I found out what they had been doing is awful for your body and caused me harm. I have money leftover since I didn't complete all my sessions but it's a waste of time to do anything there. The manager Kristi is no help at all and only cares about taking truck loads of money. I have been going to the Braintree location for almost a year now for laser hair removal. I bought 8 sessions on Groupon and purchased additional areas at my consultation for a fantastic deal. My experience has been great so far, no one pushes you to purchase anymore than you already have and I am always seen in a timely manner. I have had the same technician Shannon for all 7 of my appointments so far and she has been wonderful. I will be honest it can be kind of awkward getting laser done especially the Brazilian portion, but Shannons great personality puts you at ease. I am almost hair free, which is a miracle hopefully after my last appointment the little I have left is gone. I'm curios to see if I have to purchase more than the 8 treatments. I went there for a 20 units Botox that I bought on groupon. Was very disappointed what a disgrace!!! First the lady did not bother show me how many units she injected in my face I don't even know if she put Botox or something else. She did all the preparation work behind my back. I felt something not honest going on, the results are not satisfactory, I've had less Botox somewhere else before and the results were way better. I feel I did nothing there, never going back there even to finish my laser appointments. read more

Had a very good first experience. Waiting room was clean, wait time not too bad, reception staff basically professional. I came here for a Botox touch-up and to get dermal filler in my tear troughs and lips. The RN doing the injections (forgot name, but she's the only one who does injections there) is excellent. Very professional and definitely doesn't over-sell. I even ended up spending much less than I anticipated. She uses a less is more approach for a tasteful, natural aesthetic, and gives honest opinions. Lip injections virtually painless, which is unusual, no bruising anywhere. The prices for Botox and dermal filler at Ideal Image are slightly better, but they don't do tear trough filler, and I think Laser MD's injector is more experienced and skilled. I went to Laser MD MedSpa for my first ever Botox treatment and was wicked nervous at first- I was getting married in less than 3 months and was on the fence about going through with it but did my research and ended up going to LMMedSpa based on reviews and the price of $12 per unit. The RN, Wendy, was so calming and reassuring that it was very simple and would not over do it to make me look plastic. She took the time to explain the ins and out of what Botox actually is and the process of its work- taking approx 2 weeks to fully set in. She fully examined my face structure and skin and upon assessment, said she'd start me off with just 16 units and then in 2 weeks would do a follow up to see how it felt and if I wanted to add more. I left there much more relaxed than when I went in. After about 10 days i noticed a HUGE difference in the smoothness of my forehead lines and went back for my follow up and Wendy agreed with me that it looked great and I didn't need anymore units. She did not try to up-sell me or pressure me for additional services. I will definitely be back in 4-6 months. She was fabulous!! read more

I went here for Laser Hair Removal and so far so good! I've only had 2 treatments so far, but after the first treatment I noticed the hair starting to fall out and it took a long time to grow back in. After it did, the hair was MUCH thinner. This was only my first treatment (out of 6), so I'm confident I will be completely hairless when it's done. They made sure to really target all of the hair which is awesome. It does hurt a little, but they make sure to talk to you and ask you questions to distract you which is great! I'm already thinking about what area to laser next... read more

Bought Groupon for hair removal on lip during the summer and went in for a consult and ended up also buying entire bikini area for the groupon price. Place is clean and modern, staff is nice. I waited until fall for treatment because you need to be out of the sun for a few weeks. Appointments are easy to book, they don't answer the phone whenever I have called but they call you back the same day. The lip took about 30 seconds and was painless just felt like heat blowing on it but the bikini area is more painful because the hair is thicker but it's over in a few minutes, felt like the hair was being pulled at but not bad. It's been a little over a month and I hardly have any hair after my first treatment! All the thick hair fell out and I hardly have to shave, it's awesome! And I still have 7 treatments left! I think I will be 100% hairless after I am done. At the groupon price it's definitely worth it! read more

I would caution anyone from attending LaserMD Spa for laser hair removal. I purchased 8 sessions of laser hair removal. 6 sessions into my treatment, I was informed that if I wanted to continue receiving the treatment I had been receiving for the previous 6 sessions, I would need to pay an additional $100. The manager informed me that they made a "mistake: and "under charged" me for the treatment I was receiving (for 6 previous sessions, all with different technicians). When I called to speak with the manager, she became irate when I requested the spa honor their "mistake" and continue my treatments. After listening to her yell at me through the phone, I was finally able to get a sentence in. At this point, she put the phone down or on mute and did not respond to my comments. When I informed her how dissatisfied I was with the company and how I would unfortunately be writing a poor review, I was told I was "threatening" her for "free treatment". Unfortunately, this was a bad situation that turned very heated by the Manager of LaserMD Spa. This Spa has TERRIBLE customer service and the girls running it were so incredibly rude. I would highly discourage anyone from giving this company their business. read more

I went to the Braintree office and was seen by the District Manager Kristi Demase. She sold me a package for laser hair removal and a full face Ultheraphy. She was nice enough to schedule my first appointment for four days after. Unfortunately, by the time I got back home, I received a deployment order and had to leave the country two days before the appointment. The day after of receiving the order and of having payed for my treatments, a Saturday morning, I called the office to explain my situation and to ask for a refund since I am going to stay abroad for at least two years. After several phone calls in between preparing to leave, having to drive my parents to my sister's house, I was told that it is the company's policy to not give refunds for cancelled treatments. I begged and begged to no avail. I called CareCredit to see if they could do something, and was told that the payment was still pending and only Kristi could cancel it. Monday morning, the day I was leaving the country, Kristi called me and as a very comprehensive person told me again that she could not do anything because it is the company's policy and she could not open an exception. She ended by telling me that if something happens to me during my deployment ( in a war zone anything can happen) I could transfer my credit to somebody of my family or to a friend(sic)! No need to say that I am still in SHOCK. read more
