BEWARE: Thermage Package Scam I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. I purchased a Thermage package (full face and neck) that included a complimentary Clear + Brilliant treatment. When I later came in for Botox (and even purchased another package), I specifically asked the front desk about the expiration date for my Clear + Brilliant facial. I was clearly told that there was no expiration date. However, when I tried to schedule the treatment, I was informed that it had already expired. This is completely unacceptable, as I relied on the information provided by your staff. I contacted the clinic, and a manager apologized and said they would investigate, noting that they could verify who assisted me during my Botox visit. I was told I would receive a follow-up. It has now been over 5 months, and I have received no response, no resolution, and no accountability. I followed up again and was told by another staff member that I would receive a call back by Wednesday with a resolution, but it has now been another month with no communication. Overall, this experience reflects poor communication, lack of transparency, and extremely poor follow-through. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING LaserAway to anyone based on my experience. When I requested a refund, LaserAway retained over $1,600 of my $2,300 package by applying individual single-session retail rates to the incomplete visits. Incorrect account updates were also sent to my financing provider, resulting in extra late fees, and internal records falsely listed my package as fully completed at a location I have never visited. I called because of an ad. I showed them my problem area over video. They said they had a special and charged me for 10 sessions. My first visit in their Ashburn, VA office was good. My 2nd visit they told me they had to do a different area where I had no problem. I showed them the area they treated on my 1st visit. The location director (KAY) came in and told me I would have to pay more money for what I wanted. They change rules in the middle of the treatment and a technician named Adaya (hope i got it right) didn't care one bit about how she was doing the service and she just went about it while discussing my treatment area on the face and she didn't cover the promised areas and center manager Kay or even the corporate heads of laseraway are most inhuman, money-looting machines.​​ In my 12th appointment they deny to cover a tiny part of my face which they had been doing all along and the technician was only worried about covering an area that apparently she wasn't supposed to and didn't care how painful it was for me that she iterate rules while doing the treatment where I wasn't even in a position to talk back to her and after the treatment the branch manager Kay rudely says "can you pls follow me" while I was applying the post care cream that's to be applied as it is i was in pain from the treatment. Icing on the cake was Kay at the branch put up a show acting as if she is going to solve my case and called someone up in the regional office and promised me someone would talk me through it and the lady Sarah from the regional office literally hung up on my face without a word. They know they are at fault and do not have the guts to face their clients in difficult situations. Finally, they changed the areas that they used the cover for me in the last 18 month and mind you I was left with one last treatment and additionally I lost a session bcos the technician was too worried about her being at risk while she didn't do a good job of the service for the areas that were unquestionably covered in the treatment. This place is a joke. I booked thermage there a month ago. They cancelled my appointment in the last two hour due to "unforeseen circumstances" (they used this word). Many people left reviews said they cancelled appointments randomly. I did not believe that. Now it happened to me. I have scheduled working at home a week for the treatment. They really should call much earlier if they don't have availability. They request customers to pay late cancellation fee (half the treatment price) if cancel within 24 hours. I will start by saying Bethany on the consulting line is absolutely amazing. 5 stars for her! she went absolutely above and beyond to try to make this process work for me but was unsuccessful in the end but truly an amazing customer service representative. their clinicians, however, need to go back to school.... word to any future customers, don't be honest on your intake form with any slight medical condition you have or you will be barred from anything here as a "precaution". I have an extremely common condition that basically gives me nosebleeds but is totally controllable and low risk. I mentioned it and their "medical professionals" went into a fit about how they wanted a note from my doctor clearing me for everything... even a facial. A facial?! you have to be kidding me. I've had many facials in my lifetime, ones with laser treatment as well, plus laser hair removal and tattoos and just because your "nurses" have no knowledge of this or training they panic and block anything. I could have just lied and said I didn't have this condition. I even offered to sign a waiver releasing them from being on the hook if anything were to happen and nope- not even that for a facial. if you are going to be so hysterical about any slight condition your customers may have, maybe you should require a physical exam done by a doctor on site so you can check everyone before doing a facial. pathetic excuse for a company and you just lost thousands of dollars from me and probably others as well. good luck staying in business. read more

Since my last laser hair removal appointment, this Laser Away location in Ashburn (right across from Lululemon in One Loudoun) has definitely stepped it up! The treatments still sting a little, especially on sensitive areas like the brazilian, but I'm starting to get used to them and they definitely don't hurt any more than waxing. Plus, my leg/brazilian hair is starting to come in patchy which is a great sign! Laser Away as a company is amazing. They're clearly well established as they are wonderful at sending communication and reminders about upcoming appointments- they always call/text a few days before to confirm. They also hire and train all the staff to be extremely kind and friendly- I'm always offered a coffee or water after checking in and am received by big smiles, which really makes my day. I do not recommend LaserAway, I was robbed of my money. I was sold Clear and Brilliant which is a 6moth treatment and the Rebecca Holt made a mistake and charged me a two year treatment, when I requested a reimbursement they would not return my calls instead they kept trying to tell me that I should have requested my money before the first year when I had been requesting a reimbursement prior to the year end but since they kept sending me to different people with not return calls obviously a year past. Plus I was doing other treatments so their excuse was to sell me other treatments which were higher value or store credit. I kept leaving messages requesting a reimbursement and they would tell me that finance would contact me. I finally got a call from corporate today and the woman I spoke to was very nice and understanding. It was the first time I felt like they were listening to me and treating me like a human. They are still not going to honor the price I was quoted in person and over email which is disappointing but they did offer some options that showed some compromise to try to remedy the situation. I moved to the area from Utah, where I'd purchased a tattoo removal package and had already had two procedures. When I scheduled the appointment online with the Ashburn location, I'd immediately gotten bombarded with texts and phone calls requesting consultations for hair removal (why?) and someone from their location continued to call me during normal business hours asking me to call them back, so I did, when I could (in between work during the middle of the day). We never got a hold of each other and played a long game of phone tag. The day before my confirmed appointment, I got a call from the front desk asking if I could come in at 2:00 instead of the scheduled time of 2:45. I asked her if she was asking me to reschedule (because she never explained that) and she said "yes, it's just a 15 minute difference" to which I responded "no, that's a 45 minute difference and no I cannot" (because my work schedule doesn't end early enough to accommodate a 2:00 appointment). She said "ok what about 3?" And I agreed. Later in the evening, I get a text asking if I can come in at 2:00....I told them to cancel the appointment altogether, it wasn't worth the amount of effort at this point. They said "they'd been trying to get. Hold of me but seems as though I'm only able to make calls outbound?" Which struck a nerve with me. They called multiple times during normal business hours when most people are working (which is exactly my case) and I called back when I could (and they never were available).....geez this is ridiculous! I filled out a request for a consultation online to learn a little bit more and I was NOT prepared for the high pressure sales call that I received. The person that I spoke with said very little about the procedure itself, but kept trying to throw in extra treatment areas and offering me different packages. She didn't listen and kept offering service for areas that didn't need it and in the end she wanted me to commit to a $2000 package without giving me an opportunity to think it over. When I said that I needed some time to review the information and then I would purchase online if I chose, she said that she HAD to be on the phone to "press a button". I was recommended to LaserAway for Xeomin from a friend of mine and I'm so glad she did! I went to the website, put in my information and immediately got a call to discuss my desires and options. The appointment was booked for the next 2 days within a few minutes of a straightforward and well described process. I arrived 15 minutes early. I'm terrible with names, but the super friendly Clinic Director was at the front desk. The clinic is bright, beautiful and super clean. I was checked in, and within 10 minutes I was taken to the back to start the process. The Xeomin professional who took me back answered all my questions with professionalism and kindness. I have had Clear and Brilliant done on my face five times now from Laser Away. The first three times were at Laser Away in Arlington and I was happy with the first two people who did my laser treatment but not happy at all with the third time. The third time I went the girl did a really bad job because I had absolutely not one bit of redness on my face and she flew through the procedure in about 5 minutes. Since I still had three more treatments left because I purchased a package of 6 I felt I needed to switch locations. I switched to the Ashburn location hoping to find someone to do it well. I am so incredibly happy that I did switch because I got Scarleth to do my Clear and Brilliant. She is absolutely amazing and by far did the best out of the four different people who have done my Clear and Brilliant laser treatment. She is very thorough and makes sure she does a great job. The ladies at the front desk were also super sweet and very helpful when I enquired about the products they sold.
