My experience at LaserAway has been a great one so far. I started at the Hillcrest location, which is closer, but had to reschedule at a different location. Overall, the Chula Vista location has exceeded my expectations. Janine (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) is absolutely a pleasure and really takes care of you during your visit. She was very attentive to all the areas I had treated and didn't rush, something I noticed that the other two techs did during my visit. The ladies at the desk are wonderful too. They had called to let me know that there was maintenance being done on the machines (this makes me feel good, knowing that the machines are maintained) and quickly helped me reschedule. Note: This review is not about the quality of their work as I decided not to even start. Before you decide to go here, make sure you take a step back to think about it. I did, and learned that the potential money involved is worth more than my care, at least to Lola. I was excited to start and had signed a few consent forms but was a little hesitant after talking with Lola, who seemed like she wasn't being totally forthright with me. I listened to my gut and decided to wait before completing the forms. Lola then proceeded to call and text me multiple times that day and the following. She seemed like she wanted to be helpful...a little too helpful. Something wasn't right. Lola seemed disingenuous. I listened to my gut and decided not to go with them. After deciding not to go with them, I asked Lola if there was a way to please remove my personal health information from their records since I hadn't even started. She apologized for being pushy and went on to talk about how LaserAway is the industry leader blah blah. I appreciated the apology but she didn't answer my concern. I had to ask her two more times if she could follow up with their NP regarding removing my records. I don't appreciate being belittled by having my concern evaded. Just say "sure, let me see what I can do and I'll get back to you". Easy. I think everyone deserves to be treated with respect, even the people who decide not to do business with you. It shows character and is a big plus for any business. I hope the management at this location will consider what I had to say in this review and reevaluate how they attract clientele. Everything about this location is awesome! I have been here several times and each visit is great. The receptionist, Rose, greets me the minute I walk in and is very nice and immediately notifies the nurses of my arrival. I have never waited more than 5 minutes before a nurse comes up front and takes me to a room. Jess and Jeanine have been the nurses for my Juvederm procedures. They are both very sweet, friendly, and will make you laugh, while still being very professional. This was an added plus for me the first time I went. I was nervous and imagined having Juvederm injected in my lips to be very painful. Between the numbing cream and their calming personalities, it was a breeze. Jess is especially knowledgeable and very experienced and her work is amazing. Jeanine is also great. They answered all my questions and what I like is that they ask me what I want with regards to my lips, and when I was unsure about one area, they offered some options. I am loving the outcome after each session. I have received several compliments from family members about how great my face and lips look while still having a natural look. The reception area and rooms are very clean, everyone wears masks and gloves at all times. Both Jess and Jeanine were sanitizing everything throughout my sessions, even the sanitizer bottle and then putting new gloves on. I feel very safe going here and have absolutely no concerns, considering we are in a pandemic. There are televisions in each room with plenty of channel choices and there is plenty of parking. At this point I'm requesting someone to reach out I'm not playing games here and I'm trying my best to be cordial up to this point. If you don't then I will take action. Horrible, do not recommend. I went for tattoo removal, the lasers are so weak, I had zero results. Instead of taking a look at the tattoo to see if I was correct that I had zero results, every one there gaslit me by telling me my experience wasn't valid. Without even looking, they told me there isn't supposed to be results. Then they said I'd have to wait 2 months for another session. I understand that if the first session was successful. In my case it wasn't. Not all bodies are the same. One positive thing is that I had no problem getting a refund. So I can go somewhere else. read more

I really don't like that they approve credit for more than the payments. I was taken off interest free for a past due of 1 penny. Seriously!! To put me back on I have to allow them to auto withdraw from my account. No thank you! UPDATE: I had a call from one of the supervisors the following day after I wrote my first review. They said that they called Greensky and were fixing the issue. And to give them three days to have the refund going. On the fourth day, the amount was still the same. So I called LaserAway and asked for Lola. They wouldn't allow me to speak directly to her anymore. They stated "Lola will call you whenever she's available" and she never did. I asked for a supervisor and still no luck. So I decided to call Greensky. They were very helpful and were able to answer all my questions regarding my account. The rep told me that LaserAway never called them and there's no refund pending transaction on my account. He also said that they're open 24/7 and it's very easy to communicate with them. They still have LaserAway on their account even though I was informed by LaserAway that they no longer work with Greensky. Greensky also informed me that if LaserAway don't take actions, they are able to help start a case for LaserAway. These reviews would have been erased if LaserAway would just do their job right and take care of their customers. I wouldn't recommend spending thousands of dollars for a company who doesn't have great customer service. Find a cheaper place to do it, they take care of you better than companies that just rips you off. I'm so disappointed! Stay away from this place! read more
