Here's a negative review based on your experience: --- **1 Star - Save Your Money and Go Elsewhere** I'm beyond frustrated with LaserAway. I spent nearly $3,000 on what was sold to me as "permanent hair removal," and I was supposedly an ideal candidate with light skin and dark, semi-coarse hair. I completed all 8 sessions in my package as directed, spacing them 4-6 weeks apart as instructed. The results? Absolutely abysmal. After every single session, my hair grew back fully with barely any reduction. By the end of my 8 sessions, I was left with maybe 20% hair reduction at best. Then they had the nerve to push expensive "maintenance sessions" on me at an outrageous price. Completely fed up, I decided to try Wake Up Beautiful in Laguna Niguel. I purchased 6 sessions for just $459. After just ONE session there, 95% of my hair was permanently gone. One session! I went back for a second treatment to get the remaining stragglers, and it's now been 3 months with absolutely zero regrowth. LaserAway is a complete scam with wildly inflated prices. They advertise "70% off" but never disclose what that's 70% off of - I can't even imagine what they'd charge at "full price" if I already paid $3,000 for zero results. If you want actual, legitimate laser hair removal that works, call Wake Up Beautiful in Laguna Niguel at 949-627-9159. Their equipment is top-of-the-line and modern, they're honest about what to expect, and they actually deliver permanent results at a fraction of the cost. I began my first laser hair removal treatments here last October. My package took me through about a year of appointments every 6 weeks. A couple weeks after treatment, it is very satisfying when hair begins to fall out and comes in much lighter. After my last treatment I had definite reduction in hair and it was much thinner and light, but as I began shaving what was left, it has started to come back darker but not to the extent of before I started. They do provide maintenance packages at a reasonable rate so I'm looking forward to continuing to improve my results. You just have to be prepared to not get sun prior to appointments, which is hard when in a beach city during the summer. Overall the staff have always been so friendly, informative and work with you to find the best package for you. I'm always comfortable in my treatments and they're pretty quick! Laser Away is expensive but amazing. Laser hair removal is always going to be pricey. I looked at other laser spots nearby and they were all expensive. They were the same if not way more than laser away. You do have to inquire them for specific prices, as they are not generally listed on the website. Nonetheless, they have different types of great sales throughout the year. Maintenance packages tend to be a lot more affordable than the original package you buy. All of the girls are super friendly. They are always extremely welcoming. They always offer a drink when you come in. On my birthday they were so sweet and offered me a crumbl cookie from next door! I never have a problem scheduling an appointment. They have a lot of appointment slots. Some other laser places are overly booked and cancel on you last minute - that does not fare well with laser. It has to be done on time. I have nothing but good things to say. Parking is kind of insane during the early day due to things like Plums. I like that if I were to move somewhere else I can still use my laser away package at a different location. A clean, efficient place to become hairless! read more

Nurse Leah did an awesome and thorough job on my laser hair removal. I have almost no new hair growing in so I am basically now on maintenance. The procedure is not too painful because of the extremely cold air blast that is administered at the same time. I can highly recommend all of the services at this location as well as the other two locations, Tustin and Crystal Cove. I have had Clear + Brilliant facial treatments as well, and they have really improved my complexion by minimizing the pore size. read more

For anyone with INSANE ANXIETY: I have been debating on doing laser hair removal for YEARSSS and never did because I was so petrified of the potential pain or discomfort I would have. I've been wanting my legs, Brazilian, and underarms because of how prone I am to ingrowns but again, I was TERRIFIED of the idea that a laser was going to be zapping my hair follicles. I was watching YouTube videos and reading different reviews and doing the absolute most. Unfortunately, everyone has different experiences. The general consensus was that 1) it was quick 2) it hurts less than waxing/sugaring but feels like rubber bands snapping on your skin? 3) it can really hurt depending on your pain tolerance, some girls said their Brazilian was awful...which is what I was looking to get. So the time has come, I sign up with my package deal to get my legs, Brazilian, and underarms. I first spoke to Shannon at the Front Desk who was the sweetest person EVER. She explained the whole process to me, what to expect, and honestly made me feel ready to take the laser leap and sign up! She helped me with the finance paperwork (because we don't have that kind of money to drop at once) when it was the day of my first treatment, she was there and made me go from feeling like I needed to be sedated to going in (still nervous) but confident. The TikTok's and YouTube people said the first laser session "is the worst one" so I said "it's fine, it's quicker than waxing, you can do a few minutes of pain". I go in and Angie was my nurse and she was great. She had me in the robe and glasses (like the promos, I felt cute but I didn't get a picture unfortunately) She got me ready for the first armpit. I'm NERVOUS. She said she would give me breaks if I ever needed it, even ice because some people ask for it. I'm thinking WHAT HAVE I DONE. She says she's going to do one test patch just to show me what it's going to feel like. I say I'm ready, she turns the machine one, the little laser wand is one with its cold air blowing..I'm ready. I brace for this laser on my underarm. She then said "okay now I'm going to start the whole treatment". SHE ALREADY DID THE TEST PATCH AND I DIDN'T FEEL IT. This has been a long review as it is, but moral of the story ladies and gentlemen, do it. Angie did my underarms AND Brazilian in like 10 mins. It took me 3 times as long to get there. I would however, return for Angie. So quick, so easy. I wish I wasn't giving myself panic attacks over this..for years.. I couldn't be more grateful for Shannon and Angie! Let me start by saying they don't deserve even a one star. This company burnt my arms in which I had to stop treatment till it resolves itself (it may never). I understand why I have to stop treatment. What I don't understand is why they would not refund me for their mistake. Taylor who is a customer service supervisor gave me the most ridiculous reason on why they cant refund me, but rather give me credits for any other service. I'm sorry but I don't want another service preformed on me when you couldn't do the first one correctly. Also, since I was burned and after getting in touch with Taylor it took her an unprofessional and inconsiderate amount of time to respond to emails. GO FOR HAIR REMOVAL NOT BOTOX I usually go to Skin Spirit in Costa Mesa a place that actually focuses on Botox and filler but due to money, I needed a less expensive option. I am bummed I came here...I wish I remembered the nurse's name but I have never had botox hurt so much (I've been getting it for 3 years I know how it's supposed to feel)...also while she was doing my forehead I could tell it wasn't going in all the way by feeling the botox dripping down my forehead (never ever have had that happen.. waste of money) such a waste of product and my botox didn't even set or last. I've been coming to this location for Brazilian hair removal. I bought the full 8 treatment package about a decade ago and recall my hair thinning out but not permanently removed. Back then it cost about $800. I had a baby and it all came back. Damn hormones! So I decided to go back again recently. So far I've had 5 treatments so I can't say what the final results will be. After you've purchased the full package you are eligible to buy the maintenance touch ups which costs a little less like $500 for 3 treatments. Wait for a deal if you can! Once you're in the maintenance phase they tend to up the intensity on the lasers so hoping I'll get good results. The staff is super nice and professional. They are very prompt and I've never waited. It's pretty easy to get appointments as well. Just kinda pricey. read more

I have been wanting to do laser hair removal for YEARSSS and I finally went for it. Laser Away was having a sale so I wanted to take advantage and start with my underarms. I was a little nervous about the pain, although I'd say I have a pretty good pain tolerance (after multiple tattoos + piercings and childbirth LMAO). For my underarms, it was a total of 8 sessions. I was surprised how quickly the sessions went by! Each one took no more than 10 mins from start to finish. The clinician who did my treatments (it varied) was always very sweet and I love that they made me feel comfortable and heard. I get kind of nervous, but they were so nice! I did notice that it got a little more painful the more sessions you were in, but it was also satisfying knowing my hair was being removed permanently! Now that I'm done, my hair is not 100% gone, but whatever is left is barely noticeable that I don't even have to shave. I'm really happy with the results!! Veronica was super helpful getting me set up in my virtual consultation, she answered a ton of my questions and addressed every concern. I was interested in a lip flip, CoolSculpting, and hair removal, and had already done a bit of my own research, but I felt so much more comfortable after speaking with her that I asked to book an appointment for Xeomen injections (lip flip & crow's feet) the next day. When I arrived to the spa I was greeted with three huge beautiful smiles from the girls at the front, and one girl (red hair, cool makeup, didn't catch her name!) immediately started chatting with me and made me feel super comfortable. This was my first time stepping foot into a med spa and I was shocked by how nice and relaxed the vibe seemed to be. Michelle did my injections, and she was very gentle and sweet and even talked me through the placements of the needle and what would happen where. After my injections, Jean came to talk to me about CoolSculpting and Laser. She pulled me into a separate room to chat which I felt was very thoughtful considering the stigma around weight-related procedures - I am very open about what I plan to have done, but the fact that she created space for my privacy was super cool of her. She was extremely knowledgeable and spent a ton of her time walking me through every detail. She was blunt about the pricing and potential downsides (pain and other side affects) and I didn't feel that she was pushing to sell anyone anything that wouldn't actually work on them. When we got to the financing, she helped me brainstorm what kind of payments would work for me and even helped me play around with my down payment to get to the monthly payment I wanted. I left feeling really good about my choice of spa and I am super excited to let this team work their magic on me! Final note - I don't want to name names for the girls' privacy, but two different team members showed me their own results, one cracked me up trying to show me her hairless Lasered underarms, and another showed me her post-pregnancy abs after CoolSculpting (MILF!) I personally think the best sales pitch is honesty and proof that your services work, and that's what really sold me on purchasing my Laser and Sculpting packages here.
