I lived with excess weight and now, skin, most of my life. Even as a teen I was never able to just be myself because my brain was too busy telling myself I was too big to fit in. My mental journey is a whole other level but what I can say is that dr Thorburn removed a lot of baggage for me. I had a Fleu de lis abdominalplasty and an implant exchange. She removed about 10lbs of skin, tissue, and fluid. She was realistic about my results, and was incredibly supportive of my goals. "I just want to be able to function" I told her.
