Was treated by Sydney today and truly feel like she is very thorough with my laser hair removal. This was my 7/8 treatment and while I've never had a bad experience, Sydney gave me the best. She took her time and walked me through each step she was doing - took extra time to really look at where problematic areas are and she really did care about my progress. I'll be requesting her for appts in the future! I wish there was a way to leave (optional) feedback after every service with the name of the nurse/receptionist that helped customers. TLDR: Beard and mustache area is 98% gone, with a few stranglers still there, with more than 4 weeks+ of no shaving at all after the 5th or 6th treatment? Hopefully by the last treatment would be 100% thick hairs gone with longer periods of delayed or no growth of the hairs. For recent visit on May 10th, 2023, Pursne, Pirsnie? I don't know how to spell her name but she did use a good way to describe her name for me to remember for Yelp which was a purse and a knee combined heheh. Great person to small talk with too. Anyway, she was very attentive and made sure everything was well set before starting. She asked me all the questions require before the treatment and any concerns I had, which I did, and showed her pictures of where there were still thick hairs. She told me she'd help me with those and then make sure she specifically get my concerned areas, which she did with high attention to detail. I could definitely feel the focus she had as she was making sure she got the areas I was concerned about. Thanks! Front desk was super kind, offered water and was super attentive the moment I got in, and was quick to schedule after appointment was done. I forgot to grab water after I left so came back and they were quick to give me a cup when I asked. Overall, great customer service, kind nurses and front desk during the time I visited. I have been getting Botox for 35 years.yesterday an injector hit a vein in my eye area(where she never should have been) and it hurt! When she was done she left the room.i looked in the mirror and my vein looked like a huge worm my eye was immediately black! When I went and found her she said "oh it happens" no ice pack offer. I had to ask for one. This has never ever happened to me! I am black and green and bruised HORRIBLY! Doubt I will make my event. I made a call to get corporates number to write an email about the way I was dismissed. I have had nothing but the run around. These folks were having a promotion, so I talked to a sales rep named Jordan. I explained I didn't need much, just a couple of sessions and asked if they would support that. She assured me everything would be great. First treatment, they treat me at the lowest possible setting, which obviously doesn't do anything. I reach out to Jordan again. She says next time will be better and they will adjust the laser accordingly. I try again. The tech says they won't. I reach out AGAIN to the rep, who sends me to yet another location. Three unsuccessful visits later, I'm done. Trying to get a refund, but haven't heard anything back. I understand the techs are following rules. However I should have never been promised that they would provide me an effective treatment. I got the Brilliant and Clear facial today, Kayla and Kayla were my nurses. I was told it would feel hot, it was but it wasn't uncomfortable. They do numbing prior, then two sets of lasers and finish it off with vitamin c cream, a mast and aloe and sunscreen. Skin is somewhat red after but that's part of the deal during healing. Of the dozens of times I have visited this location I only had to wait more than 10 minutes once. My nurses always have a personalized recommendations for me and can answer any questions I have effortlessly. The client specialists at the front desk make scheduling and checking my account so pleasant and again they're effortlessly knowledgeable. I've gone to a couple of smaller medspa offices that have similar services and they're okay but I prefer Laseraway. Plus if you have a scheduling need and there's not availability at one location the client specialists can help you to find another laseraway location that can get you in. Extremely disappointed. Seemed like a good deal at first (after Groupon and much price negotiating) but ultimately service was not effective either. I have had laser hair removal elsewhere and was effective (before kids). Cons- Price is not honest or transparent. Just post real price why require back n forth to get best price. If you have to miss a single appoint it's 2-3 mos our at least and no cancellation list and not helpful trying to find something that works. Did 8-10 treatments of each and immediately ask if I want maintenance package for a discount (ummm should it work after that many treatments???) So if price seems too good to be true it is. Colossal waste if time and I still need to go start over elsewhere. I'm an ideal candidate (light skin and dark coarse hair), see results 3 mos later and judge. Still have to shave everyday .... Many things to say here. I will write simply my experience. I am a brown skinned Indian woman, I would say my skin tone is kind of like a darker olive and I am in my 20s now. When I started Laser I was probably 16. I have not been back for a while but plan to finish the rest of my treatments eventually. We went in to buy a package for just underarms and the lady actually gave us some kind of deal for the whole body. It came out to be $5k or so for a single person. She told us all sorts of stuff. In the end, I went through maybe about 7-14 sessions (don't remember exactly now) of treatments for arms and legs. 4 years most of the hair is still there. I have seen some reduction but maybe about 20% max. I did go back and buy extra sessions for just underarms and right after getting the laser done, I noticed the thick stubble decreased very dramatically but there was never a time where the hair stopped growing. It's been maybe 2-3 years since then and the stubble ad well as the hair is back like it was before in the underarm area. I'm still planning to go and get it done again though because nothing has worked to get it that smooth, literally nothing. I'm hoping now that I'm older, it will work better for me. At one point I did get contact dermatitis from it and if left a bit of scarring. This is due to many factors, part of it is the effect of the skin tone, products used after (don't use all natural sugar deodorant in your armpits right after a laser sesh) and individual characteristics. Not saying laser does not work but the results will vary significantly with everyone. You should definitely do your own research and be cautious before starting. My mom on the other hand has very very light skin and darker hair. She was in her 40s when she got it done and she has seen probably a 90-95% reduction. I just would have loved to see honest reviews like this when I was looking into laser so here you go! In terms of service, laser away was alright. The people doing the actual lasering are nurses and many of them were very respectful and kind. I think i had one experience where I felt slightly uncomfortable because I felt that she was judging my body and all the hair or maybe the way I shaved the hair. One time I remember telling her I couldn't reach a spot on my back and she was very upset that she had to shave off an inch of an area herself even though it felt perfectly reasonable to me and this is something that they do have to do if it is necessary? Who knows! Guess it's just luck what kind of person you get. They also sometimes feel rushed because I do believe there is a quota at the end of the day to meet. All in all though, not bad. Talking to a dermatologist before this would probably also be a good idea. read more

I purchased a Groupon specific to this location about 6 months ago and don't regret a thing. I originally purchased the groupon to get my sideburns done for laser hair removal and decided to get my upper lip done instead. They were happy to let me switch. The first appointment is a consultation with their doctor via Facetime. Kind of a pain at first because they don't treat you right after your consultation - you have a to make another appointment for your first session. Anyways, I just recently had my 4th session and I've been so impressed! The hair growth on my upper lip is so thin and I barely see any hair now, just the whisker part. They have specials going on all the time and I'd say the best one is the 65% off services. I gave in and paid $417 for 8 sessions for my underarms. Maybe a great investment in the long run. I'm excited to see how hairless my underarms will be! Note: if you purchase the Groupon, it is only for 6 sessions. How they get you is that for a small area, they will tell you that you need 10 sessions and charge ~$100 per extra session. You are better off waiting until they have the deal and purchase through them directly. I believe when I asked, the price for 10 small area sessions for ~$200. Not bad!! I recommend this location to all my friends because they are always friendly here and there's ample parking. Easy to get to from the freeway. I am writing this review a bit late, but I'm still so bitter about my experience, I feel compel to do it. I purchased laser hair removal back in 2020. This was before the shut down. Their sales folks were very effective in upselling me to buy a bigger and far more costly package than initially intended, and I went for it (Beware. They do this a lot.). COVID hits and shut downs are put in place 1/4 of the way through my treatment. I called worried my results would be compromised, and they reassured me that after I used all of my sessions they would honor a few free ones to get me to the promised 75% hair removal as listed in the contract. Well, they never did that. The treatment was not effective, and it help reduce maybe 10% of the hair growth. I am now having to go to a different location and pay a few thousand dollars again to get hair removal in the same area. When I mentioned to the nurse at my new location that I already had 10 sessions done, she was shocked. She also said, I probably only needed no more than 5/6 sessions to get to 75% in that area. I am convinced that Laser Away is a scam company. One thing I noticed during my sessions with them, is that the initial 1 to 5 sessions had zero effect. They used a very light laser setting to "test" how your skin reacts. It was only the last 6 to 10 sessions when the laser was more intense and properly worked. Essentially, they charge you for 5 trial sessions at full price, sessions they know will yield little to no results because the laser setting is too low. My friend said she just bought a package at this location, and I felt so bad I didn't warn her beforehand. This is why I am writing this review. My recommendation is that you go to a proper med spa. It will cost a little more but you will see results! read more
