Friendly technicians and thorough pedicures. We both got the deluxe, which included a salt soak, paraffin wrap and hot stone massage. The express includes the stone massage but for 5 minutes instead of 10. It took an hour to do the deluxe and it felt wonderful, but I think next time I will try the express to save some time. One day I was talking about facials and Nessa told me they offered it and I was surprised and decided to give it a try. I haven't gone anywhere else since! The experience is completely different from other facials I've had. They include a head and scalp massage that's unbelievably relaxing, and the whole process feels so luxurious that I end up falling asleep a couple times!! I really enjoy Venus Nail Spa, my mom and I will go each time she's in town! Such friendly service, and they can always accommodate our limited schedule with only a few days notice at times. Comfy massage chairs, clean environment (even the restroom), plenty of colors to choose from and such great service. They are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. We like the deluxe mani/pedi combo, as we can get paraffin (when it's so needed!). I don't do color, but my mom has tried both dip and gel (always for her toes, and both on her nails). The quality was amazing! What makes this place so unique is they are 100% focused on customer service, and that's what I was missing in this area. I could find quality and cleanliness elsewhere too - but never have I had this friendly and accommodating service. Prices are right in point for the area, and I have always enjoyed a great massage with my services (with the deluxe, it's with hot stones and lovely!). I highly recommend. We usually walk but I imagine parking could be a little hard to come by at busy times, but they have a lot in the back of the building we have used in rain and a rush before. Those times, never any struggle to find a spot - but with the other businesses it might be tough. If you can walk - highly recommend :)! read more

After six years going here, I'm still a devoted client. The warmth and friendliness is so inviting, and I can relax on my day off. The care and consideration for clients is way above other nail salons I've been to. They try very hard to please all their customers and as a worker bee myself, I can only imagine what they have to put up with on a daily basis (seen first hand) with all the difficult silver spoon locals, including Los Gatos teens and their very demanding mothers. I still will be a devoted customer and make their their hard work seem, at the very least, worth gratifying, and I'm always grateful!! They are still so nice and polite, even with the most bitchy Los Gatos white chicks. Honestly, I don't know how they do it. Found this place on Yelp and glad I gave it a try. Kudos to the salon for keeping the doors open for me through a brutal storm which had all kinds of businesses closed. I called about 4:30pm for a 6pm appt (basic mani/pedi). At the time, I had no idea they were closed due to the storm, but a nail tech had come in to service a regular. Well, after she was done with her regular, she waited for me. Kim did my pedi and another nail tech came in to do my mani; her name is Emily (or Loan if you are Viet). These ladies did such an amazing job (see photos). I brought in my own nail polish, but they use OPI from what I could see. Although I came in and was the only one there, they didn't rush me at all. In fact, they insisted I do the massage which I told them not to bc I felt bad keeping them from heading home. I am super pleased with my mani/pedi. I do just a basic one (mani $25 and pedi $35) but I am very particular about my mani. My nailbeds are long, so I like to cut them SUPER close to the skin. Most places hate that, but Emily was up for the challenge. I'm also picky about my cuticle cutting, and both Kim and Emily did a great job. The salon itself is conveniently located in a small shopping plaza with plenty of parking. The salon is clean and has plenty of stations. I will definitely come back here again! This review is long over due. I have been going to Venus for a while now and have never been disappointed with their service. I always request Emily for my dipped manicures and she does a beautiful job every time! If you are like me, OCD about every nail being the same length and shape you should see Emily, she makes them perfect! When I first started coming here, they only had about 12 colors, but now they probably have over 30 colors to choose from! I believe they charge $40 for a dipped manicure and $35 for gel, but dipped is the way to go. My nails last a lot longer and no UV light is used. I will not go anywhere else! read more

Had an hour to kill, while I was in LG, and decided to go get a pedicure. I have my favorite place in WG but wasn't close by and figured I'd give this place a chance, because of the great reviews. Helen (I believe she is the owner) did my gel pedicure and she was great. I took off a star because she had to stop a few times to fix the basin and remove parts/reattach parts during the pedicure, while my feet were still in the basin. The cuticle pusher fell on the ground during the pedicure and, rather than getting a clean one, she picked it up and went right back to pushing back my cuticle, without even wiping it off. I'm a slight germaphobe so this was alarming. Other than those two issues, the overall pedicure was fantastic. The hot stone massage was wonderful and she was very kind when I asked her to take the polish all the way to the edges of the nails. read more

A great place to go to if you're worried about Covid restriction. They have guards in between each station. Overall great experience. Only reason why I took off a star is because the lady doing my nails rushed paining my toes. One of them came out noticeably bad and I asked her to fix it and she blamed my nail and said she cannot. The owner came in a fixed it for me. My advice is ask for her to do your nails! read more

I would give them 2.5 stars if I could. Came as a special treat for my girls. Brought my own nail polish, and top coat. Indicated I did not want any other polished used. So they proceed with manicures and i see the aesthetician start painting my kids nails with something other than the polish I brought. I reiterate I do not want that. Someone else indicates my wishes in another language. (There are only 4 customers. 3 are with me. One other person is there.) I indicated the request loudly. The other aesthetician finishes with my other child I ask for her to put the top coat I brought on my other child's nails. She says she already did. She used their own top coat after I requested them not to. She indicated in the affirmative, and goes to put it on her nails as a second coat! I say no, and ask that they redo the nails with the nail polish I brought. The aestheticians proceed to talk in a different language and giggle. Not a good experience. Will never return. read more
