'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. After a while, I know the clientele numbers went up so she hired other laser techs and started offering other laser services other than hair removal. I went and saw one of the other techs, and I don't recall her name, for my first tattoo removal appointment two weeks ago to have an arrow removed from my thigh. She was very chipper and jovial and made my appointment easy breezy. She told me I'd be seeing a different tech for my second appointment. Shannon first implemented Apex's location with Jensen and Co off of Mt Rose street, and now she's in a cute little house off of Eureka. Both locations are clean and welcoming. Parking was a little more tricky at Jensen and Co. With the new location, there's definitely a lot more street parking. There are stairs to get down to where I was for my laser tattoo removal appointment. I'm not sure if there's an ADA accessible entrance to the bottom floor. I will continue to support Shannon in her endeavors and she makes the whole experience super easy and stress free. 10/10 recommend for any laser needs.

Before surgery, I felt supported by both her and her team, which made me feel confident going into the procedure. However, my experience on the day of surgery and throughout the post-op process was very different. I did not receive my post-op instructions before or after surgery. I asked the team for them after the procedure and was told they would be emailed to me, but they never were. My husband also asked after the surgery and they told him they would be emailed as well (they were not). I had to call afterward to request them again. Most of my post-op check-ins were not done by Dr. McCormack but instead by her nurse/PA, and unfortunately, I did not feel they were very helpful or knowledgeable. The guidance felt limited, and I often left feeling unsure and unsupported. When I shared my concerns with Dr. McCormack directly, she seemed dismissive and mentioned in my notes her nurse wrote that I did not follow post op instructions (maybe because I didn't receive them). She lacked empathy for my bad experience and did not offer any solutions for her team's lack of professionalism. Additionally, the front desk staff was not friendly or inviting, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Based on my full experience, I would not recommend getting a breast augmentation here. I've since shared my story with a few people and, unfortunately, learned that I was not the only one who had a terrible experience many of my acquaintances have as well.

During consultations she said the lower blepharoplasty would remedy the bags AND the lines. Then on the morning of my surgery she said that I'd have to go to the MedSpa for the lines. I don't know WHY I decided to give them a second chance and try the MedSpa. I had a consultation with Precious, and again, my under eye lines where the reason why I went. She said that Botox would help. I paid for their "VIP" membership (total scam). The Botox didn't do one thing. So I've spent almost 10K at this place and feel ripped off. Then on top of all that, the MedSpa receptionist's are rude. My advice: Go somewhere else for everything. This place is totally overpriced and overrated.

FEM Wellness is aware that some people experience difficulties finding their building, but they don't tell you that when booking your first appointment. Inside, the clinic is clean, spa-like and modern, and the staff was polite. They offer robes for that spa feel. Dr. Ernst was friendly and approachable during our interactions. However, I was disappointed overall, as I expected more in-depth holistic approach to women's health rather than something that felt like a med-spa focused primarily on surface-level hormones and aesthetics. Adjusting my hormone levels took an unusually long time, especially given my sensitive body type and ongoing health issues, including thyroid problems, ulcerative colitis, and autoimmune disease. The HRT has required multiple tweaks to get it right, and I'm still adjusting, which has been frustrating. More recently, I had a follow-up appointment scheduled with Dr. Ernst, but I experienced a severe ulcerative colitis flare-up and had to cancel with less than 48 hours' notice. (I had canceled within 43 hours.) I explained my situation to the receptionist... that I was quite ill and might not be able to reschedule for weeks or even months due to the unpredictable nature of my condition. While I appreciate that they didn't charge me for the cancellation and I understand the need for policies, this experience highlighted a lack of flexibility or compassion for patients with complex chronic illnesses, especially regarding women's health issues. Flares can strike without warning, making it challenging to commit to rigid scheduling. I was also told that if this happens again, I may be charged, with no "hope you feel better" or other words of empathy... the lack of warmth really concerned me. For those primarily interested in Botox, laser treatments, or straightforward hormone replacement in a spa-like setting, this might be a good fit. But if you're seeking a more in-depth evaluation of your overall health, comprehensive care, advanced hormone bloodwork, and thyroid/endocrine system care, I'd recommend checking out DECON across the parking lot with Dr. Kuhadiya instead. She's a God send in my life and over saw my last pregnancy. Unfortunately this office doesn't offer OB care, but I'm done having any more kids. They will refer you if you do need OB care. My most recent visit was today. There was an unavoidable hiccup with scheduling. Some customer service would have been nice from the office. I'm a loyal customer/patient and was told that I had to be rescheduled without a blink; although it was a lose lose situation. Of course I was frustrated, but thankfully Dr. Rajamand was able to get me in and out. My only recommendation would be to avoid incidents like today is get on top of the program that sends emails. I am elated to find a spot so caring and kind. Not only did she check my skin but she knew I was unhappy about some rough patches in many areas and got right to work freezing them off. In my younger years it was for acne so I knew what to expect but I was happy that she explained the procedure and the after care before she started. It is wonderful to find such a caring person for skin care. Next time I go in, I will talk to them about other things they can help me with my skin care journey. At my age, I could use all the help I can get. I was shocked and laughing that the paper gown they gave me to put on tore right down the middle as I tried to open it. As I entered, I was greeted nicely by the receptionist and there's a scan code to fill out patient profile stuff. As I was checking in, the lady asked if I preferred paper, in which I did lol. So I filled out the paperwork, paid my co-pay and waited for about 10 minutes. When I was called in the back, I was greeted quite nicely by a lady, and when I went into the back room, it was pretty huge. Quite a few of the workers said hi to me as I was led to a room. After the preliminary questioning, the girl that brought me into the room, said that Kyle would be with me shortly. Kyle was kind of like a breath of fresh air. He came in with a great attitude, really made me feel comfortable as well as welcome. He was friendly and Jovial. He asked permission to do check my legs and my back. He was very thorough and checking all of the little bumps and discoloration and put my mind at ease. If you need a dermatologist, I highly recommend you trying integrated dermatology. Friendly people and nice clean, comfortable, waiting room. Of course it's always a positive when your skin-check comes out good. But really, they really went above and beyond for new client.
