The waxing process, I was there for my back. They use vegan ingredients for the waxing which I really like, pain scale was less than traditional waxing. I would say traditional waxing for me is a 8 outta 10 whereas this was 6.5 outta 10. McKenna was very thorough throughout the entire process. No sticky residue post wax which is common from other places. I really like the eucalyptus warm towels post wax to smooth the back, nice touch. Place was charming and clean. This was just what I needed, last two studios have been disappointing. Last place major breakout post waxing and other place gave the worst attitude. Plus my wedding was coming up and really, who has the time to tan in October? Especially when putting together the chic-est little beach wedding possible in five weeks. Paradise Airbrush Tanning was one of the reasons that my wedding was so wonderful. Okay, so Taryn with Paradise Spray Tans! Again, my very first spray tan. I was nervous to do this, for the first time, right before my wedding. But listen, it was a beach wedding, I was losing my summer glow and after lots of research I wanted to go for it and I chose Taryn and her company, Paradise Airbrush Tanning. I chose Taryn because of her detailed knowledge, in fact her very specialized knowledge, of spray tanning. The "organic" aspect of it, the shade, the after care, the prep you can and should do on your own etc.This is no joke people. If you are counting on your spray tan artist for anything serious, TV shows, photo shoots, dancing, getting married etc., you absolutely must have the best with zero mistakes and no BS. That means absolute professionalism, everything from your spray tan artist being on time, knowing what they are doing and using the right products to make you look good, golden, natural and beautiful. I am not a bodybuilder or a dancer, far from it, but Taryn did all these things for me and more. I was uneasy because I am kind of a big gal right now, but Taryn set me at ease straight away. "No body shaming" she said, "and don't worry, I see lots of people and lots of bodies, and it's always beautiful!" We did my tan in my dining room, she set up easily and I stepped into her little booth and she did her magic. Prior to this we talked about my skin, the products I use, what to do prior to her coming to prepare and what to do after she left to extend my tan and keep my skin hydrated, and of course, what not to do. My skin was beautiful. I had wanted a medium glowing tan and she was spot on. She understood my skin tones perfectly and made a custom blend It was not too dark, it was golden and it was so natural looking. I'm hooked now! Thank you Taryn! : )
