Found this place on Groupon. Amy had amazing reviews, so I figured why not. There's another business called sugar shack there and I almost went that direction, but I found my way. I think it's so cute they call them, sugar mamas lol. The place was very clean. Amy was an absolute doll, kind and knowledgeable. She uses fur products and swears by them for being clean and effective. I was offered water and the bathroom was also very clean. If I lived closer I'd go back. Thank you Amy and staff! read more

I've gotten 3 spray tans here and i love it! The salon is super cute and clean and the staff are all very friendly. My most recent tan was done by Amy and her attention to detail was SO good and really stood out to me. She is super friendly and even went so far as to help me get the stickers off my feet and my shoes back on! I really loved working with her I recommend Sugar Cove overall! I'd say the tan lasts about a week to a week and a half with proper aftercare :) worth it read more

Been going to my Sugar Mama Amy for years. She is absolutely amazing. Along with making this experience the most comfortable, she is so personable. The moment you walk through the door she is so welcoming and your biggest hype girl. Our sessions are filled with catching up about family, work, and always spilling the tea (you almost forget you are getting hair ripped out of you lol). I highly recommend asking for Amy when you book! read more

So I called to make an appointment with winter. And winter was not available, so Amy did my spray tan. I was a little concerned, I admit because I'm used to winter . Amy was absolutely amazing!!!. So now I have two incredible spray tan goddesses. I cannot recommend Sugar Cove, Winter or Amy highly enough. read more

I haven't even been here yet so an updated review will be on its way but BLESS KIMS SOUL!! Originally had an appointment scheduled for 12:30 PM. It was my first day out after having my son, so I figured I would go to my occupational therapist appointment and then come here after. I gave myself a 15 minute cushion, but traffic decided it would take much longer than that. I called barely before 12:30 PM. The grace period is five minutes. I asked if there's anyway to reschedule because I was on my way in, but I knew I wouldn't make it on time with traffic. Kim was willing to reschedule me and provide options if I wanted to keep today. Unfortunately, because our childcare options are limited, I wouldn't be able to go to the other locations to keep an appointment for today. My Groupon expires in two days, so instead, Kim offered to honor the Groupon and let me schedule for next Friday!! Hallelujah! read more

My experience at Sugar Cove was fabulous. The employees (Jennifer and Megan) were incredibly kind and helpful. Megan talked me through the whole process (I received sugaring for hair removal), and she was extremely professional, helpful, and supportive. I will be coming back to this location. Been going to Sugar Cove for just over a year for my sugaring and am always happy with the service. Staff are genuinely friendly and quick to respond by text, call or email. They have a cute little shop set up when you walk in with jewelry, sunglasses, lotions, etc. They offer water or wine at every appointment and everything is always clean. Shout of to Winter who always does an amazing job! read more

I originally found this place through Groupon and had such a great experience that I purchased the package! They're all so sweet and fast which is a bonus. I've always been taken in right away without having to wait and that's one of the things that made this a 5 star for me. Their treatment room is clean and organized which I love and the girls make you feel comfortable right away. Lets be honest...these appointments are never fun but they do everything they can to make it as painless as possible. They're also located in a huge plaza so parking is never a problem. If you're looking for a place to get sugared...this is it! read more

I've been seeing Amy at the sugarcove for Brazilian sugaring over a year. Her technique is phenomenal way more comfortable than waxing with results lasting noticeably longer. Amy is very professional, personable, with the magical combination of precise speed, gentle hands for a perfect out come everytime! The Spa is stylish and has such a relaxing vibe always clean and neat. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly, and can also provide products for up keep. Sugar cove also has other services such as facials and eyebrow tinting... making it a one stop shop for pampering needs! read more

Nestled in the heart of Huntington Harbour, this hidden gem, Sugar Cove, will transform your waxing experience into a luxurious, indulgent treat. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism from the receptionist Zoey. I was assigned with the incredibly talented esthetician, Amy! Let me just say, Amy is an absolute master at her craft. From the moment I walked in, her warm demeanor and professionalism put me at ease. Amy's expertise in sugar waxing is unmatched. Not only does she work swiftly and efficiently, but she also ensures the utmost comfort throughout the entire process. I've had waxing experiences before, but none compare to the precision and care that Amy provides. She pays meticulous attention to detail, leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth and flawless. What truly sets Amy apart is her dedication to customer satisfaction. She takes the time to understand her client's needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations and ensuring that this visit exceeded my expectations. Her friendly personality and genuine concern for my comfort made the entire experience enjoyable. Not only is Amy exceptionally skilled, but the salon itself was clean and inviting. Every precaution is taken to ensure a hygienic and safe experience. They also have a plethora of skincare and boutique items you can shop from after your service. I enjoyed my visit so much that I even signed up for the monthly membership. If you're looking for the best sugar waxing experience in town, Amy at Sugar Cove is your gal. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Amy, for your outstanding service and for making me feel like a million bucks for my first visit! read more

Writing a 2nd review because the "business owner" profile (which is likely run by a minimum wage front desk employee) left such a lack luster response to my first one. As shown in the screenshot, the beginning line is clearly copy and pasted from an exchange approving her response LOL - it says "how's this response for the yelp review?" (Well let me be the first to tell you, ITS NOT GOOD) Very unprofessional to leave that there and not proofread before hitting submit... She also stated, "we are glad we are able to come to a compromise" -- I'll be extremely clear, we did not come to a compromise. They issued me a minuscule refund of $32 despite me spending $242 there.... I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company, who gladly refunded the remaining $210. The people running this company are subpar to say the least, and should be ashamed at how they respond to unhappy customers. Something not mentioned in my other review, and a huge reason why I think I got a fungal infection from this establishment is because the ball of sugaring wax looked dirty, like they used it on someone else prior to using it on me. The girl Swift who did the sugaring looked very sweaty as well. I feel as if her sweat along with the dirty sugar ball is what caused my reaction. I've had to see a dermatologist twice since and was prescribed a heavy dose of steroid cream. Like mentioned in my previous review, this is an extremely sensitive topic for me, but I'm sharing as a warning to other new customers. Speak up if something looks or feels off (I wish I did so I could have avoided this entire debacle). I should have asked why the sugar ball looked used and dirty, and I also should have spoke up about being uncomfortable from the girls sweaty appearance. read more

I have been going to Sugar Cove for a couple of months now for Spray Tans and I cannot say enough about this place. When you walk in the receptionists are always so cheerful and welcoming and the aesthetic is cute and chic. Savannah has been doing an amazing job with my tans, I mentioned that the first time I went I didn't get very dark and she has been going above and beyond to ensure I get the darkness I prefer. I do want to say that the reason the first time my tan didn't darken was definitely on me. I tried to use baby oil to remove a previous home self tanner the morning before and an exfoliator that was too creamy so I think that's why the tan didn't stick as well. I have had zero issues since then. I love that you can buy packages of tans vs buying one at a time, and the appt process is amazing. I love the reminders especially when I forget to add to my calendar. I 10/10 recommend Sugar Cove and Savannah! read more

I actually found this place through Groupon but you can book with them directly by phone. They're very organized with emails and text message reminders about your appointment. I got the Brazilian sugaring with Amy. I've only been sugar'd once so still a mildly awkward experience but Amy was very warm and chatty. I feel like you have to be cuz talking does help you ignore the pain. Essentially, I was led to one of their very cute barn door curtained rooms, given lots of wipes to clean and Amy stepped out so I can take off my shorts/underwear and get on their toweled bed. There's another small towel so you can cover yourself. After a bit, Amy came back, warmed up the sugar and pretty much started ripping at it real quick. I'm a rip the band-aid off quickly kind of person so I appreciated it as we talked, but not gonna lie, this hurt a lot. I'd say my pain tolerance is average too. I'd say like small duct tape rips kind of hurt but focus on the conversation. You're sore for a little bit after but it was pretty much gone after an hour. Compared to my first experience at another location where they did big long rips, Amy went for short fast and furious rips with lots of baby powder in-between. I was impressed by her speed honestly cuz I was slated for 30 min but she was done in 15. And my hair was about half an inch thick, dark and pretty thick. Once we were done and I was as naked as a newborn babe, Amy left so I could get dressed and then explained the aftercare. They also sell creams and scrubs too if you don't already own any. The scrub was about $20-25? And cream was $16. My groupon priced this at $20 but the original price is $77. They take credit card and you can add any tip amount you want with the nice receptionist. Overall, a very nice location next to the Trader Joe's and lots of parking. They are tucked behind the corner next to a nail salon and a chiropractor/physical therapy office, so keep an eye out. read more

I have gone to a few different sugar waxing places now and this is my favorite!! The interior is clean, aesthetic and they have wonderful products available for after and general care. My esthetician, Amy, does an amazing job truly. She is very thorough throughout the Brazilian process. I don't understand how but she makes it less painful as well, so she has a great technique. And the finishing tweezing and products applied at the end (such as soothing oil and AHA BHA) help with the healing process after. Her entire process leaves you looking and feeling immaculate! Also she's really easy to talk to and funny. Highly recommend Sugar cove ! read more

Amazing. I showed up early to my appointment and they got me in early and fast! It was my first time ever getting sugared and a brazilian. The girl who sugared me was so sweet and nice. Was not awkward at all! I wish I would've grabbed her name. She had orange hair and tattoos, sweetest girl ever. The groupon for this place was really amazing too! I will say it did hurt a little because it was my first time, but no tears were shed! The staff was also super sweet when I left and offered me the first client deal and also the products. Overall 100/10 place and I will be back ! read more

I have been to Sugar Cove in HB for body contouring and a spray tan. Their employees are so sweet and knowledgeable - I've had a pleasant experience every time. What prompted me to leave this review is how they reacted to my last-minute cancellation today. I wasn't able to step away from my unexpected meetings all day to call them until just before the appointment. The person who answered the phone (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name!) was so sweet and, instead of just letting me know of the cancellation fee right away, first asked me if everything was okay. Little gestures like that are so unexpected and appreciated, and that's the kind of service they provide here. Thank you Sugar Cove! I'll be sure to reschedule soon. read more

AMAZING experience. This place deserves a Yelp review ASAP after My appointment (it was today) because, it's a cute place & AMY did an amazing job! She is very thorough which is what I love when you're doing anything new and that gives great customer service. I recommend this place 10/10!
