Terrible customer experience!!! I was so uncomfortable after my service I wanted to leave ASAP. The service I requested was not the outcome, at all. I tried talking to the tech and she hardly spoke words to me listening to what I pre-arranged with store manager Vivian. With a tech not talking to engage in any kind of conversation, an open door, and I re-arranged my schedule at the request of store manager Vivian to come in earlier, i wasn't comfortable nor could I stay. The vibe was not chill and I've asked for a refund because I don't want to now over process my lashes. I had an event to go to which is why I got them done and was so disappointed. read more

Ever since I moved back to Orange County six years ago I have had one bad eyelash experience after another. I'm older so I don't want the thick fluttery super long lashes that everyone else gets. I want natural individual lashes. A few months ago I realized my real lashes were destroyed from the clump lashes. I barely had any lashes at all. I literally cried when I looked in the mirror. I thought that there was no other option but to have NO EYELASHES FOR SIX M MONTHS TO A YEAR while they grow back. So I started searching and searching again. By the Grace of God I found Lash by Design. The reviews were great and it's close so I made an appointment. The girl to a look at my lashes to see if there was any chance of at least having SOME lashes. She said she could do something with what I had left. Two hours later when I nervously opened my eyes to see my fate I was STUNNED!! She did such an AMAZING job that that I almost cried (but didn't want to mess up my new eyelashes ha ha) I was SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!! I I have been back 3 times since then and I have NEVER been happier!! And what's really cool is that you don't have to freak out if you don't get the same girl next time because all of the girls are trained to do the same procedures as the next girl so there is no way you won't come out of there happy. Had another wonderful visit at Lash By Design today. I had an appointment for permanent eyeliner. I met Vivian and she advised me eyeliner wasn't recommended for me with my eyelash extensions. Instead, I inquired about microblading for my eyebrows, (A service I was already interested in) and she gave me a through consultation and we proceeded with the microblading. The results far surpassed my expectations and I couldn't be happier! The commutation from the salon and the honesty from the Estheticians about what my options were a breath of fresh air. I went to Lash by design yesterday for a lash refill. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by the owner and one of her colleagues. Their business was so beautiful, and comforting. I did not have to wait I was taken to a beautiful private lash room, covered with a very nice warm blanket, and had my lashes washed before my new ones were applied. Before I knew it I was extremely relaxed, and felt so pampered during my lash refill. The results were fantastic! I loved that you can make an easy appointment online which fits your schedule. The owner told me that their lashes last about three weeks, and not to make an appointment until I felt like I was really needed a refill. Everyone was so kind, and I'm looking forward to going back in three weeks. :) read more

Haven't done lash extensions for a while, but decided to get them done for a trip. Searched on Yelp and tried calling some places but they were fully book. I finally managed to book an appointment at Lash by Design studio for classic eyelash extensions. My first impression was that the place is luxurious and cute at the same time . I got a big private room and got my lashes done in an hour and half. This time the look of my eyes is different. Normally, I always tell the artist I want the cat eyes set which is longer at the end of my eyes . This time, I was surprised when the artist told me that the shape of my eyes is kind of narrow, and she recommended I try classic mixes with hybrid and that the lashes at the end should not be too long because it makes my eyes sad and smaller . I listened to her and she was absolutely right . The eyelashes she did are different indeed and a much better fit to my eyes and don't make my eyes sad or depressed as before . I also feel so free and light even though I am wearing eye lashes . The staff is so friendly and really want you to look beautiful. Really highly recommend this place read more

I went to Lash by Design to get a lash lift and tint and I did not leave with my lashes lifted. My lashes are naturally very straight but I've gotten a lash lift before and they had no problem lifting my lashes. I try to go to different studios to try different stylists to see how different people do it. But I repeat, do not go to this salon! I tried to contact the manager to get a refund later that day because I didn't have time to confront the stylist after the appointment. The manager said "the lashes are lifted. Your lashes are very straight and that's the best she could do." She then said that she would give me a refund if I went back and got my "lash lift" removed. The stylist had already scrubbed my eyes so much that day that I did not want to do through that again! Thank you! read more

I tried making an appointment with the technician I like and feel comfortable with and the manager had an issue with my preferring one technician over the others. She went on to say that the technician I requested only works part-time so she only comes in when she has a full schedule... ok..? Great.. so then as a business, my reaction and response is, figure it out and put me down when this technician is available.... instead she made it my problem and wouldn't put me down for a fill. What's odd is that I've requested this technician before with zero issues. Furthermore, I've been getting my lashes done for YEARS, through a few different facilities in this timeframe and have never once had an issue with requesting a particular technician! Isn't that the point? You find a technician you like, and you request further appointments with them. Period. End of discussion. They definitely lost a customer and I'll take my money elsewhere. How incredibly unprofessional. I made an appointment same day with another business and told them what happened and they were as confused as me and reassured me that if I like the technician they have no problems making future appointments with the same person. As it should be! She even laughed and it made me laugh because we were both confused with this situation! read more

Thao is an expert at lashes and the kindest person you'll ever meet! Thao is the greatest in the business, and I've been going to her for a long time. Thao has created lashes that are long, feathery, and thick without being too heavy on my natural lashes. My lashes can last 3-4 weeks, and they could definitely last longer if my natural hair growth cycle wasn't as fast. My appointments are always on schedule, and a fill usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. I've had lashes for nearly a year and have tried a variety of artists, but despite the longer trip from home, I'll stick with Lash By Design. Unlike other artists, she does not experience discomfort when removing old lashes because she has a very stable hand. read more

I have been going to salons to get my lashes done for about 10 years. After a couple of applications, my lashes would normally feel weak/dead. This place doesn't push you into getting the "FULL" set if they see that it would look initially great but hurt you in the end. So I normally get a "classic" look that lasts actually pretty long.
