First, I did a lot of research before picking this place. I wanted to try it for my wedding. I didn't know it was a resident area. Should have read the reviews more thoroughly. But regardless it was definitely a great experience. Jin is definitely very friendly, customer oriented, and professional. I also want to add that I don't give places five stars often. Regardless, I first was so in shock when I first saw my lashes. It was so long. She did let me know i'd be surprised because I'm not used to it. But now I look at it more and more, it is definitely beautiful esp for my wedding. For everyday purpose, I probably get a medium length next time as she recommended. Price was definitely not bad at all compared to many places. I'm a happy customer and I recommend it. Jin/is/the/best! She's so sweet, funny, and fun to talk to while I get my lashes done. She's a really dedicated and talented cosmetologist/lash expert. I LOVE MY LASHES so much. I don't know that I could ever stop! I get so many compliments on how natural they look (even though an Asian with such long and lush lashes would only be a freak of nature, a lucky freak, that is) :-) . Came here after a girlfriend raved about Jin's work and I am so happy I did! I have never been so impressed or loved my lashes so much 'til she worked her magic on me. Location is wonderful and ample with parking (and a huge plus for me since I come from VA, the 495 exit is right outside her neighborhood!) Jin's studio is also one of the most immaculately decorated and cleanest studios I have been to-to have my lashes done. She clearly put a lot of thought into what would look the most pleasing to her clients and other artists should take notice and step their game up. (She has a memory foam bed for her clients for Pete's sake... That's love!) As Jin was putting on my lashes, she always made sure I was comfortable and chatted me up so the time just flew by. This is the first time I've ever written a review on Yelp, but it was SO good I just had to! Jin was lovely and professional and her location (at her apartment) was really easy to get to - I parked in public parking, but apparently you can park in the building if you go around the back per the concierge. It took a bit more than an hour but not quite 90 minutes. It was very comfortable and didn't irritate my eyes at all during the application. I really enjoyed chatting with Jin and she was so friendly and funny! And I LOVE the lashes. This was my first time and I think they look amazing and Jin did a GREAT job. I will definitely be returning! I wasn't sure payment-wise what she accepted, but cash or credit, so it was easy. This place is very nice, clean and in a great location. There's street parking, but I'm not sure if there's any free parking in the back. The techs are friendly and professional. I found this place through living social and it was a really great deal for a full set. I booked online the day before using Vagaro, so no issues there. I decided to get something long and extra flirty for my birthday vs my usual natural set. Nora was fast in her application and did a nice job. Exactly the look I was going for. I got the "lush" set, but they definitely weren't as voluminous as they described them on their site. That works for me since I got them so long, but if you're looking for extreme volume, I'd ask the techs which set would be best for you. Also, the glue was extremely strong smelling. At one point, I was having difficulty breathing so that presents a bit of an issue if you have any sort of respiratory issues. Although they provided a great service, Ive had my lashes done elsewhere for half the price. If I didn't use the Living Social deal, I would not come here personally. read more

Just like the first reviewer I was a bit nervous about getting eyelash extensions and I was definitely a newcomer to the trend. After talking to Jin (the owner), who I know because she's a family friend, she assured me that it is all perfectly natural looking and of course it gives your eye area an oomf that not even mascara can give you! I'm a college student so I don't have time to put on mascara every morning and with the lash extensions I did not't have to worry about any of that, it made it seem as though I already had some on. The lashes I chose where the Cosmopolitan silk lashes (posted above), so that I could get a very natural look. I loved the outcome and when I came back to school from break, no one noticed until I said something, but those that I did tell loved how it looked on me. I would definitely recommend lash extensions to any woman!! If you're wondering about the process it does take some time, but that's because Jin is very professional and does take her time to make sure that it's done right! She explained to me the training that she got and the licenses which always comforting. She makes sure you're comfortable and even gives you an under eye treatment that helps give your eyes some nutrition. Like I said, it's well worth it and Lash Cosmos is definitely the place to go. read more

I went here to get eyelash extensions, however I noticed that my individual lashes were actually glued to my lash line, which was not what I was told I was paying for. I was told that the extensions were glued individually to each of my lashes. I was totally disappointed...because I paid $180 for something I have done with Ardell individual lashes from CVS on my own for much cheaper. I won't be back. She is a nice girl but she should be more upfront about her lash "extension" technique. I'm going to try a different place. read more

I went to Lash Cosmo for the first time yesterday to get refills and I had a wonderful experience and will be going back and would like to recommend this place to others! I got my original set done out of town and desperate to find someone to local and I'm so happy that I found this place by Yelp reviews! My lashes look longer, fuller, and very natural. Jin uses great quality light weight lashes and the glue does not burn your eye like other establishments. She is extremely friendly and detail oriented, what more could you ask for? The cost of a normal set of refills is $65 however since I got them done elsewhere it was $75. Jin accepts cash or credit which is very convenient. Her lash studio is located in her chic apartment called The Exchange which is located to the left of Safeway. You can park in Safeway but make sure you take the escalators to look like a Safeway patron or you can park in her building. The front desk receptionist will lead you right to her door. read more

This was my first time getting lash extensions. Jin is very nice and personable. I thought I'd asked for the least expensive package and I ended up paying more than I had expected to that day. I like the lashes and after the burning and swelling went down they look pretty good. I think I may have a sensitivity to the tape and the glue so I will need whatever is out for sensitive eyes. As a new business owner it would have been professional and courteous if she had followed up and simply sent a 2 second email to see how I liked the lashes and how they were holding up. Jin does an amazing job places lash extensions and setting up appointments is incredibly easy through the Lash Cosmo website. I always get compliments on my lashes and many just think I have long lashes naturally. However, I don't hesitate to tell all about Jin/Lash Cosmo and encourage those interested to give them a try. Not only did the lashes not come out how we discussed in our consultation, the pricing of the service was ridiculous! I had lost hope on doing lashes ever again. I was a bit timid about getting lash extensions because it takes someone with a lot of skill to do it right. Other salons/spas may offer lash extensions, but the tech isnt licensed or they are cutting corners by using cheap lashes and harmful adhesives. After some research and asking my friends for referrals, I found Lash Cosmo and could not be happier! Jin is AWESOME! She is a professional and has been doing lashes forever, which is exactly what you want when you are trusting someone working so closely to your eyes! Her attention to detail, expertise, and patience makes every experience top notch. I have gotten so many compliments because the lashes look so natural (see photo). She is friendly, answered all my questions and customized a look- giving me exactly what I want and more. She gives you a nice hydrating eye treatment during the procedure (which is so much better than the other cheap salons that use tape). I think this says a lot about the high quality you are receiving with Lash Cosmo. The high quality lashes she uses last me about 3.5 weeks to a month before I need a fill in if you follow the simple instructions she gives you. I'm only giving Lash Cosmo 5 stars because there are no more to give! I had my first visit with Jin on Monday 12/29. I wanted to get lash extensions for NYE as Im going to a ball and want to look nice. I originally scheduled my lash appt. at an entirely different establishment, but due to a scheduling faux pas (on their end), I was unable to be seen and left to scramble around for a backup or simply go without. Thanks to this amazing app, I fairly quickly stumbled upon Jin and Lash Cosmo. She fit me in last minute the week of NYE, and made me feel like a regular. I'd say she's 5 stars throughout, and there's no catch lol. She is as good, and everything is as pleasant as is raved about in the other reviews!!
