WANT TO EXPERIENCE A "WOKE " CULTURE FIRST HAND? WANT YOUR COMPLIMENTS TO BE CALLED RACIST? This is the place for you! Many of the young women working at the studio have names I've never heard before. I've always found unfamiliar first names interesting. I'm curious as to how they came about. Was it the name of a relative from a much earlier generation? Was it the name of a heroine in a book? Was it the name of a famous person in a foreign country? In my generation, asking the origin of one's name was often the beginning of a conversation when meeting someone for the first time. Apparently, that approach is not comfortable for those working at the Lash studio. They are very touchy about their various ethnicities and are easily offended. At the same time while those working at the studio gossip among themselves about clients, they will not be honest or forthcoming when the client asks what was said or done that displeased the tech. So it is impossible to properly apologize as there is no understanding as to what caused the offense. It's the perfect environment for a thriving WOKE society. So take note! If you are part of the WOKE culture, you will fit in. If not, you will be uncomfortable. Meet A'zaria. I had never heard that name before so I asked about her heritage. She said her ancestors were from Africa. I asked her which country in Africa. I was genuinely interested as I have two generations of relatives who for many years have lived in Africa. A'zaria was evasive but I had no idea I was about to step in a mine field and be maimed as a result. Based on our current political environment, I should have realized the dangerous path I was on. But since it is never my intention to cause discomfort for anyone, it didn't occur to me that expressing interest in A'zaria's ethnicity would make her uncomfortable. I forgot that some people see everything through a colored lens. My advice - Skip Lash Envy. It is an unfriendly atmosphere and there is a undercurrent of dissatisfaction which culminates in frequent turnover. Don't get used to a particular tech as by your next appointment that person will no longer be working be there. Many of the technicians are not seasoned. They are still in the training phase - yet customers are charged full price. The fees are much too high for service provided by a novice. Is that fraudulent? A scam? At the very least it is unprofessional. When work performed at Lash Envy is unsatisfactory, the client is blamed - not the tech's lack of skill. When glue is on the eyelid not the lash, or when the extensions do not follow the lash line, or when lashes fall off within an hour of the service, or when the extensions are much heavier on one eye, or when there is a burning sensation in the eyes, the problem lies with the tech - not the client. Lash Envy will try many different attempts to blame the client. The lashes are too short or too weak or too this or too that. If that is true, why are the extensions done in the first place? A person new to the process may buy those excuses for a poor job. l don't. I have a history of wearing lash extensions and know the difference between a good or bad job and the quality of the different lash extension products. To add insult to injury, once the dissatisfied client has paid for the service, a refund is refused. So prospective customer, beware! If you value good customer service, this is not the place for you. In Arizona, as of January 2022, anyone doing eyelash extensions professionally must have a cosmetologist or aesthetician license issued by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. In addition to the license they need additional training in order to do lash extensions. A "certificate" means that the stylist has likely self-educated themselves about the procedure. It is not a license and does not meet requirements for doing eyelash extensions professionally. Practicing with just a certificate is illegal. The State Board is making an effort to locate and fine people working without a license and some locations are being shut down. The licenses of everyone working should be prominently displayed along with the Board's most recent inspection report. Don't buy the line that only the owner of the business needs a license (that is a different type of license) or that someone can practice under someone else's license. If the license is not available, leave - do not accept service - report the business to the AZ State Board of Cosmetology. Before subjecting yourself to a bad experience, do some research. Lash extensions are now popular and new salons are popping up in every town. Find someone who has been doing lash extensions for several years - not just one or two. Qualified techs may be difficult to find but they do exist. Don't hesitate about asking direct questions. If there is resistance in answering, move on to the next read more

I'm a FULL time nurse, I work six days a week and my schedule is super busy. I've been coming to Lash Envy two weeks shy of one year. As a member your monthly membership is deducted from a credit card which makes everything easy since I come I go. It seems that they have a huge receptionist turn over since Carley the current and newest receptionist told me the other day that she tried calling me and texting regarding my Eyelash specialist became ill on my appointment day. It was very intimidating that she explained several times that she tried her best to get in in touch w me only to find out a employee changed my number since I've been notified before. Several customers were waiting in the lobby as Carley proceeded to tell me this is my fault. I've never told any of my patients that I've helped or cared for that they're in here because it's their fault. She isn't very Customer Service oriented. Before I left I told Carley to cxl my membership and her reply to me was "OK". Carley never apologized nor did anyone call me to advise me that they had openings for another day. I had to call myself to check for cancellations or availability. If you work six days a week "my choice" save yourself time by choosing another studio. read more

Bella was great and the hydrafacial was nice, it was the first time trying one. If you like microderm without being totally tried out in a few days... try this one. The reason for the 2 stars is because the table is not comfortable AT ALL! I always have to ask for a bolster and they are over used and flat now. Secondly, I called the salon to see if there was any wiggle room on the schedule for my appointment start time. I was still at an after-school function with my son. Receptionist said that Bella was booked solid and no. I hurried/rushed/sped and arrived there 3min behind only to find out that Bella was with a lash client who was an ADD on. (The woman had the wrong day!!!) So instead I had to wait???? SERIOUSLY?? The FRONT office should have called me with this news because I had just called her about needing more time to arrive. BOO.... Seems like they need to hire mature adults to answer the phone. Where is Sara?? Wonderful woman, bright beautiful and surely missed by not just myself. I've tried many lash extension studios across the valley, and Lash Envy is by far my favorite. That's why I've been consistently going for the past 5 months. I've tried a few of their technicians (many are wonderful) but I LOVE working with Taylor the most. I show her a photo of my desired look and she nails it! I appreciate that she takes the time to fully understand my vision instead of jumping straight into the work. And When installing, her hands are so light. I never feel her working and often fall asleep lol. I have naturally short, basically non-existent lashes and large round eyes. When I get eyelash extensions, I like a more natural look that gives me a "sexy eye" shape. So I get volume lashes in a natural shape with a very slight cat eye (we tried only cat eye once and it made my eyes look too end heavy). I get soooo many compliments on my lashes and people often say they don't realize they're extensions. Do yourself a favor and give Taylor at Lash Envy a try. You won't regret it! read more

Toxic work environment. Do NOT work here. You will be underpaid, overworked, and easily replaced with little to no notice. I spent a full year going above and beyond my role, taking on responsibilities I was never compensated for, while the owner was frequently absent on long weekend trips and even during periods when she was injured. Despite my consistency and effort, I was never given a raise. I was ultimately let go based on rumors spread by her 'top lash artist,' as a form of retaliation because i brought what was going on behind scenes to management attention and nothing was done. There is a strong culture of gossip among the stylists, including talking about clients, coworkers, and personal drama, especially at the Dana Park location. Many of the stylists come across as immature and unprofessional. While there are a select few who are genuinely kind and professional, most people who go here will likely encounter the more gossipy staff. read more

I have been getting my lashes done here since the opening and I LOVE this place! I have had lash extensions a few times from different places and it was never a good experience. I didn't think getting lash extensions was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I viewed it as another chore to do like getting my roots dyed or nails filled but this is actually a nice one hour vacation twice a month! I usually see Deanna (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) who is incredible but, honestly, everyone who works here is amazing. My lashes are healthy and beautiful. I haven't had any breakage on my natural lash at all. Plus it's absolutely beautiful inside. The tables are so comfortable that I've fallen asleep more than once. Today was my first time getting eyelash extensions & I picked this location after seeing many positive reviews and I am so glad I did! When walking in, the place is absolutely adorable and the ladies at the front desk were so kind and friendly. I had Madeline do my lashes and she was so nice, explained everything throughly and it was a very relaxing experience. Simply laying there for a couple hours with my eyes closed, no distractions, and getting my lashes done was very peaceful and they turned out absolutely amazing! The whole purpose of a fill is to remove the old grown out and put new ones on those and some are still ok until next fill! Lash Envy Studios normal fills do not include removing grown out lashes unless you pay extra - when I get a fill in Canada it always includes removing grown out lashes at a price of $60 - Lash Envy's fill is not a real fill as they do not remove grown out lashes without a hike in price! A mega volume fill for $60 at your studio - and the mega volume was not even as volumous as my regular volume lashes back home!! Same price but at home also remove grown out lashes!! DO NOT GO HERE-I saw a blonde lash technician smoking weed in her BMW outside of the studio, highly unprofessional, as she did have her uniform with their logo on it so she was supposed to be representing this company well. I was on my way in for an appointment when i witnessed this and didn't even go in. I can't trust someone who is high to preform these services. This girl in her BMW needs to be drug tested and fired. Went in for my first set with Lash Envy. First time experience can be a bit nerve racking. They made sure I was taken care of and most importantly FEELING good about the service. I had anxiety with the lights and they made sure to accommodate me properly. The lashes are natural and beautiful. The process was very smooth! I suggest taking a nap while you get them done. I've been to several lash places but this is by far the best! The staff were very friendly, the place is clean and my tech was super knowledgeable. I've never been able to go more than a week before needing a fill and here I am going on my second week and still very happy with the way they look!
