They saved my lashes. At the point I finally decided to come in to Lash, Ink. I had already been to 2 different lash places. The first time was from a living social deal and the lady their did a horrible job...the glue was so strong and my lashes were so clumpy looking. I went to another lash place on 6th avenue...no better. At this point I was almost sworn off lashes and this was my final attempt. They are a tad bit pricier than some of the other places, but now I see why. First of all the shop itself is so nice and clean and comfortable. They gave me options...neither of the first 2 places went into all the detail and options on curl, length, volume, design..wow. I was able to pick a lash look that worked for me, not just...long or short. The process was calming, music playing, hardly any glue fumes. My lashes looked amazing. I have renewed faith in extensions thanks to Stasey. She also suggested an awesome mascara for my lower lashes that I was able to order right there in the shop. My husband came back to pick me up and he wasn't aware that it was also a tattoo shop. The artist was there and she did an on the spot consultation and needless to say my husband booked an appointment with her for starting his half sleeve. I'm sure my husband will review once he is done. He is already impressed with how his meeting with Kat went. All in all, I will never go to another lash place. There is a big difference between the places out there. Do your research. You really do get what you pay for. I forgot to add they had a great special on their website and it was nice that I could pre-pay right there for the special package and they already had my little card when I came in. Lash ink is an incredible place to get a tattoo!! I have multiple tattoos done by Kat Carroll and that she is an amazing artist. When you arrive for your tattoo the entire staff is always welcoming and friendly. One thing I notice is that it is a very relaxing atmosphere and that everyone makes you feel at ease. In addition, the facilities showcase the Kat's love of not only ink, but art as well. On the walls you can see several types of paintings that just add to the ambiance of the studio. You will not find racks of those cookie cutter tattoo images that are found in other places. This studio is a step above other places. Everything that she creates is drawn by her and very custom. Kat is a very open artist that always solicits feedback, by the customer, before the work even begins. While going through the tattoo process, Kat always makes the customer to feel really comfortable, relaxed, and will crack jokes. What I really like is that she always checks with the customer to see how they are doing while getting tattooed. In addition, she will provide a small bottle of water while sitting for a tattoo. I would highly recommend this studio for people wanting a tattoo. Kat is awesome and makes every customer feel like they are the most important person. read more

I had a great experience with Stasey at The Eye Candie shop! I had already gotten my lashes done by another girl two weeks prior and was in need of a fill. Fortunately, I stumbled across Stasey's ad on Craigslist that offered a full mink set for only $100! Although I only needed a fill, I thought that I'd might as well convert to mink lashes since I had heard that they were darker, fuller and lasted longer. For those that have ever received lash extensions, they're expensive and so that was an offer that I just couldn't refuse! One great thing about The Eye Candie Shop is that Stasey works every day! I scheduled my appointment for Sunday afternoon and she was able to squeeze me in with only a few days notice. She was very nice and professional and incredibly fast! She gave me a brand new set of gorgeous lashes in only 1 1/2 hours! I am so in love with my new MINK lashes that I can't see myself ever going back to regular lash extensions. And Stasey did such an amazing job of tailoring them so that they accentuated my almond-shaped eyes! Lash extensions really make your eyes look so beautiful and because the mink extensions are so dark and full, I don't even need any eye makeup! I have had several tattoo sessions done here by Kat Carroll. She is crack-up a minute and can pretty much play off of any joke or comment made to her. She never makes you feel uncomfortable about the work you are getting done and her confidence in her artistic skill is top notch. She is also not afraid to help you out with your design idea if she feels the idea would not look quite right from the start, which is a great quality to have in a Tattoo artist. When looking to get a tattoo, you want the artists who are going to let you know if a design is not going to completely work the way it is on paper vs. how it will look on your arm or leg, etc. and they are able to expand upon the design so it will not lose its substance or meaning, which Kat does time and time again.The atmosphere is great because it is so relaxed, it feels like a place that you could just hang out in and converse with the other clients/customers like they were friends you never knew you had. I have been with Kat for almost 5 years now. I met her as an apprentice. I knew she was going to be my kind of tattoo artist when I saw this beautiful painting she worked her ass of on, which currently hangs at the shop. She has such a personality that draws you in. Her first tattoo she did on me was tiny dots that formed countless stars on my back. She then began to draw up a family tattoo, that myself and both my parents have. Kat puts everything she has in her tattoos. When I'm in the chair it's like therapy. I can vent and just enjoy her company. She cracks me up. She is like the sister I never had. Not only would I recommend her, I would say you're crazy for going anywhere else. Myself, my fiancé, and my parents all get all our work done by Kat. This was my first experience with getting Eye Lash Extensions! The owner Stacy was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. She was extremely professional but also treated you like a great friend. I plan on going back for a fill soon and love the work she did. I love my eye lashes, no one has noticed they're looking at me but they can't figure out what's different. I actually had to tell them, they all say they could tell something was different but they couldn't tell exactly want that was. Which is exactly what I was looking for - I didn't want anything over the top or WOW reactions, I was looking for and got a natural look. I had to come back and say that when I go get my eyebrows or facials done (at least three different places) the techs always ask are my lashes real. They're leaning over me within 8-10 inches of my lashes and have to ask! This lady is good at what she does. read more
