I get my lashes and facials they do a wonderful job on both. Highly recommend it for others to try. Lots of flexibility with scheduling.

Then everything didn't go as planned Simi recommended different laser treatment and tried to sell me products. Simi said CO2 wouldn't work with melasma I was disappointed and i have to research about ADVAtx , me : i won't be able to do CO2 today so i must go home and reconsider about ADVAtx Simi : yes , we will consider today as consultation , front desk will check you out? Receptionist: that will be 50$ Me: i didn't know i had to pay for consultation i didn't ask for i was here to get treatment Both trying to explain to be if i come back within a certain amount of weeks , 50$ towards treatment Me: if i decided to do ADVAtx today , how much would that be ? Receptionist : 150$ -----Simi : 300$ ( at the same time ) So i asked for price lists Receptionist : the website prices are not updated me : so CO2 laser treatments and ADVAtx are the same price? Simi : yes they are the same price I think I'm being scammed , it's very shady to get coned like this. My experience from when I met Tim Fletcher-Velasco and Tania Ramirez, everything was so real , nice , kind ... Minela paid close attention and has a very effective teaching style, she clearly cares about her reputation and it's obvious how she earned it. For Anne being brand new she did an absolutely amazing job and I'm thrilled to see how far she makes it in the industry. She paid close attention to detail, craved feedback and you could tell she genuinely cared about the work she was doing as well as customer satisfaction. Overall I'm VERY happy with the service my husband and I have received at Seattle SMP- just make the consultation, you'll be sucked in and happy you took the plunge. Thanks to this team of ladies I'm entering the summer with a high pony-tail and WAY less obvious hair thinning. Cannot thank you both, enough, for the confidence we've both gained.

You will not regret it. My hair has been thinning for awhile. I've tried everything to fix the way it looks. I used Rogaine for a long time until it started burning my scalp. I've tried hair pieces. I've tried using tinted dry shampoo. I've tried microfibers you sprinkle in your hair. Nothing was really the answer, because even if I could get it looking mostly ok, I'd always have to take a shower and wash it out and then live with myself at home looking bald. So, knowing it was going to be expensive I decided to at least reach out and see what could be done. Google turned up MM Seattle with the five star rating and how could I go anyplace else? I'm so glad I found Minela! Here are some things to know: She's super cool but totally chill and easy to talk to. Do not be intimidated by how cool she looks! Her studio is clean and bright and welcoming. It's not a spa like some places and it's not a tattoo parlor, either. She is passionate about covid protocols. The large windows are open and there is an a/c vent blowing right in your face, which means she's not breathing directly on you. I was afraid it would be challenging to get there from Renton, or to find it, but it was neither. Just thinking about going on the West Seattle Bridge and navigating around that area gives me hives but it turned out to be really easy to get to. There isn't a lot of parking but once you get used to the layout, I never had trouble finding parking in the area. And, of course, there is the result! My hair has never been thick but in the last few years, it's been THIN. You can't see the dots at all, even though the overall effect is a full head of hair. I can put my hair in a ponytail or wear it down with a part. I can make a part anywhere, which is extra cool. So yes, it was expensive, but it was for me, and my only regret is not doing it earlier. If you have thinning hair but you're not completely bald, I wanted to make sure you have a picture for reference because when I was looking for examples, I only found one picture of long hair. You're welcome!!

I can't find the stylists name that cut my daughter's hair, but if I do ill update the post.. but…read moreshes the only reason this place is getting any stars. I have been to Aura a handful of times over the years (the very first time was YEARS ago when it was swanky- but my hair stylist left so I stopped going for hair but I continued to go when they changed the name, for facials a couple of times) not the point.. but it seemed like this place has changed a lot since last time I was there and it now looks like a hodge podge of different things and it didnt feel cohesive. Which, obviously works for them- but it didnt feel like an actual salon/spa. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk so one of the stylist that was cutting hair had to stop to ask us what we were there for and then said the stylist would be up soon. She came up, we went back, we talked... all is good. (Again, this has nothing to do with the actual stylist!) But the stylist took my daughter to wash her hair and a couple walked in with a baby and a toddler. Seemed to be a stylist that just had a baby. Not sure, but they went back around a corner where we couldn't see them but could hear them. The toddler would come out and run around the salon. Again, I couldn't see back there so idk if there was a door or what- but I assumed after the first time it wouldnt happen again, since this is a salon open to the public and not just for family. Nope. The toddler kept coming out running around and two different times would go to a chair that a client was sitting in and either touch their leg or arm or whatever (as a curious toddler would do) but the dad slowly dragging his feet behind the child and would stand back and say "hey buddy, let's not do that" instead of scooping him up and taking him back to where the stylist and baby were hanging out. It was crazy that it happened once, let alone more then once! Then a couple other people were checking in for their appointments and there weren't seats available, they had to sit in the chairs at the nail area or the dryer. It was just a weird experience between the way the salon was set up, the fact a child was allowed to run around, touching guests, and lack of a waiting room (which if I remember correctly, was taken out to put a little gift shop in?) Like I said the stylist was great.. but the salon overall, I would not recommend.
