Can we day lashes for days. I am a sucker for beautiful lashes but I hate when they look too fake. Lashes by val has the ability to give me a look that is flawless, lush, and rich without the overdone fake lash appearance . People always stop and say your lashes are beautiful and many ask, "are those your real lashes?" I have been going to val for a while and I am never disappointed with the end result . When I first moved to Greensboro a few years ago I went to brow Lounge and did not like the work .My technician was just fine and worked quickly but I was not happy because I feel that the work done wasn't worth the price. I've been going to Valerie on and off for over two years now. I've been more consistent lately because I am so IN LOVE with them. I refuse to try another eyelash extension place because I love the work that Valerie does on me! I always come out feeling beautiful with my lashes. My boyfriend doesn't even want me to try another place because he loves the way they look too LOL. The whole process takes about an hour and you pretty much lay there with your eyes close. You don't feel anything. I've caught myself falling asleep while she's putting the extensions on lol Valerie is goos with suggesting lengths and is good at giving you the kind of look you're going for. I've tried them all and I noticed that the C curl fits me best. She takes her time and listens to your concerns. The lashes never feel heavy. In fact I don't even feel them on. I don't see them whenever I blink. I feel like I'm not even wearing them! I have gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and even strangers. Lol People always ask me if they are natural and that's what they look like. They look natural!!! Valerie only goes by appointment only. So contact her set one up! HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. Val charges the same prices as the brow lounge and other well established lash services. $200 for volume lashes and $70 fill ins. I have NO problem paying high quality prices when I receive high quality service. My complaint is not necessarily with her work, I believe she is capable of doing a good job. I was initially pleased. I scheduled a 3 week fill in (on a friday). During this appointment she talked the entire time about her personal life. I felt it was a very one sided conversation and honestly, a little uncomfortable with the direction the conversation took. When done, at first glance the lashes looked beautiful. I start to notice lashes falling out by that evening.Through out the day I am losing lashes constantly. They are falling in my eyes, on my pillow, on my cheeks. After 2 days I ask her if its normal for fill-in for lashes to fall out at this rate? I explained I've lost more lashes in 2 days than I did in 3 weeks with the first set. (I am currently an aesthetics student (the same license Val holds) and although I do not know it all, I feel confident I am knowledgeable enough to properly take care of lash extensions.) After 2 days, she responded. I was skeptical of her answer (my lashes must be going through a shedding cycle) but decided to schedule one more time before giving someone else a try. That appointment was today. I arrived on time to find her on the phone talking to a potential client. She tells me to get on the bed, that I notice is dirty from the last persons feet. She gets off the phone and immediately goes into how she thinks the client isn't going to show and once she told her the prices her tone changed. She proceeds to tell me what a crazy day its been. She is talking negatively about her last client (at this point, I am stunned to hear how she is talking about her clients). Shortly after getting started her sister calls, she tells me she might have to stop the service for a minute to give her a gift card. Once her sister arrives she gives her the gift card and I can hear them talking about other things (like getting the room decorated and when she is going to get lashes on her sister). Minutes later, she takes another phone call. It clearly is about shopping and petsmart. She apologizes and jokes that she is going to have to turn her phone off because she is just so busy. A couple minutes go by and she takes her 3rd phone call. Its her mother and they start arguing in another language. She hangs up on her mom and tells me what a crazy B**** her mom is. WHY SHOULD I KNOW ALL OF THIS?! I DO NOT KNOW THIS WOMAN. I AM PAYING HER $70 AN HOUR FOR A SERVICE. In between the phone calls she is telling me her marriage problems. Her husband is obsessed with play-station, wont help with the baby, she even talked about her sex life! It was extremely uncomfortable. She said she hopes her next client cancels. I guess since I am in the same business she confessed after doing lashes all day she gets sick of doing them. Why wouldn't I think she rushed through mine again? I could not wait to get off the table and bolt through the doors! I try to shake off the experience. I'm looking at my lashes and feel like they are not much fuller then before my fill in. Again, I try to shake it off. Throughout my day today I was told they do not look full, I was told, I cant tell you even got them filled in, and even asked if I am using a different lash girl. At this point it is time to text Val and let her know I am not pleased. I explain to her I feel the lashes are not as full as they could be, that I was super pleased with the first set and desire that look again. (we talked about this on my second visit). She tells me, I am sorry you feel this way. She tells me she booked an hour for me and can only fill in so much in an hour. I replied, I feel taking 3 personal phone calls and having your sister come by during the hour I am paying for interfered with the quality of the service. I ask again that she find the time to fill them in and complete her work or please issue me a partial refund, as I feel I got partial service. She argues that she does not issue refunds, she will ALWAYS take personal phone calls because she has young children, and said her sister stopped by just to get a gift cert for a client and she will be available Jan. 4 to fill in my lashes. I end the conversation with I have already re-booked with someone else and I will be sure to write that review you asked me for on our second appointment. This grown woman told me I was being spiteful, to do what I feel I need to do and to make sure I write on there that I told you to go F***yourself too. I would let you see for yourself if I was able to post photos. Please save your self the frustration and negativity and do not book with Val. You will not get your moneys worth. **She also did not change her gloves or sanitize after each time she picked up her cell phone!!** Gross. read more

Seriously.. if you are anyone who is anyone, you need to see Val! She is THE BEST lash tech I have EVER been to. I'm from Savannah, GA and we have a plethora of lash techs in the area and I've seen quite a few.. luckily while in town visiting my family I was able to book with Val and it was amazing. She is so sweet, has a very welcoming persona and is very knowledgeable about what she does. She removed as many of my old lashes that were over glued and could potentially hurt my eyes, and gave me the fullest, most beautiful set I've ever had since wearing lashes..(about 10 months now). I made another appointment and I will definitely be driving 5 hours to see her twice a month!! I seriously felt so beautiful when i left and have had the biggest smile ever since! HIGHLY recommend!!
