I've been going to Vanity Girl for over 10 years for lash extensions. Before 2020 I was more than pleased with the service I received. After COVID, staffing changed. New lash techs routinely got glue in my eyes almost every visit. My eyes were bloodshot for a week afterward. I had a confirmed appointment for this past Sunday for 10:30 am. I drove 64 miles, over an hour away. My lash tech was a "no show". No phone call, text message, email to give me a heads up I would need to reschedule. At this point I'm not sure I'm going to continue to use Vanity Girl and look elsewhere. read more

Beware of hidden fees. $25 to remove a few remaining lashes from my last set. Never told this until I paid the bill. My volume selection was a lot less "volume" than the 2 strand version that I'm used to. Even though this set was $70 more than what I've always paid before. Woke up this morning to my right eye almost swollen shut. Although I was told this has only happened to one other person, I don't believe a word they're saying. Charged for a $35 pedicure but received the basic. Realized this when I got home and looked at their prices on the website. They ran out of time because I had to watch a 15 minute unnecessary video when I got there. Not my problem. I will never return. read more

Buyer beware of hidden fees and inconsistent billing practices. There is a requirement to place your card in their system "to simplify the process". however, you have to monitor your account after every visit. It is apparently a common practice for them to over charge. After each visit, I requested a receipt at the desk and they would not provide it. A new person will be taken for all they are able to bill them for and when asking for reimbursement they cannot. Nor can they claim their mistakes or correct the situation. I will not go to a business which is sneaky in their dealings with the consumer nor would I recommend a business which operates in this manner. read more

I came in for a volume fill while traveling through the area on a trip. The administrator was friendly and helpful and I was greeted cheerfully upon arrival. Yvonne did my lashes and I am pleased as punch! First of all, in less than 40 minutes she loaded me up with more lashes than I have EVER gotten done in over 1.5 years. I was shocked when I saw how much she got done in such little time. Her work is impeccable and she did a great job explaining details of application and care, as well as provided amazing conversation and even life advice throughout my session. :-) I am super glad this is the place I chose. Will not come back here ever again. I have psoriasis on my face and always have. Been to other places to get my waxing done and have not had any problems. Today the owner managed to put wax over psoriasis that was no where near what needed to be waxed. Also managed to burn both eyelids with hot wax and when i said something about it the first time she riped the strip off with frustration and put the same hot wax on the other eyelid with out cooling it off. read more

I have been going to Eye Salons since they were in their former, smaller place, and I will continue making the 1 1/2 hour drive each way to have my lashes done here every two weeks. I've had Yvonne do my lashes for years, even before she was located here, and I wouldn't go elsewhere. I also recommend Jenna. I've gone everywhere for lashes (locally, Raleigh, Charlotte, Los Angeles, etc) and by far, these are my favorite lashes. Worth checking out. read more

I just had my last visit at eye salons. From the moment I walked in the lady upfront kept asking me if I had washed my face and my eyelashes today. It was 9:30 AM and I had just washed my face and wiped my lashes. She told me I need to go to the bathroom and wash my lashes over and over again. So I did. My fill in was 30 mins for 2d/3d and when I went to pay up front with a different card, the same lady asked me twice if it was the card on file and I answered No twice. When I finally handed her my card, she had already charged the other. There was no offer of refund, just an "oh well, sorry I didn't hear you." I felt Dismissed and paid $90 for a very Faint fill in. I have not been there in a few months because the last time that I went there they started falling out the very next week so they let me Come in and I had to go to a different girl. I felt like they were upset because I had not been there in a while but for a reason. I would rather they charged me more than to have been treated this way. read more

Last week I had the worst experience I have ever had since being a customer of over 5 years at Eye Salons. I was getting lashes applied for my upcoming wedding in mid October. The stylist I had apparently put the wrong "pads" on my eyes causing the glue to stick my top and bottom lashes together as well as fill my new set of lashes with cotton fuzzies on either side. After almost an hour and a half of the stylist applying then trying to fix my lashes, I finally asked her if she could ask for help. I did this because she had tugged and pulled on my lashes until I was in pain. When given the mirror to look at the finished product I quickly noticed something wasn't right. Lashes were clumped together and appeared to have lint all over them. The brush caught on to the multiple fuzzies that were webbed and glued into my lashes. I asked that it be fixed- that I had never seen this happen before. Another stylist attempted to fix the lashes but eventually had to quit knowing that if she continued to mess with my eyes they would become more irritated and I assume, realizing there wasn't much hope for the horrible job that was done. I followed up the next day with the manager in hopes of a resolution and we agreed to have the lashes removed and reapplied by the only stylist at the salon I trusted. Fast forward to today, ten days before my wedding and the day for my rescheduled removal, and I am told that my original stylist now can't see me because she has another client. The manager told the employees that she was with another customer and wouldn't speak with me about the new scheduling issue. The employees finally just said that a refund would be issued. I put a whole lot of faith in this salon to meet my needs a few weeks before my wedding and they completely let me down. After two appointments, 2.5 hours and a long conversation with the manager, I still have lashes with cotton fibers glued into them ten days before my wedding. I will never again put my trust into this salon and hope that others who are searching for stylists they can trust see this and reconsider becoming a customer of eye salons. read more

I will NEVER patronize this business again. My mother was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and has multiple appointments throughout the week. I was unable to attend my eyelash refill appointment due to a medical emergency and called to cancel my appointment. I am a repeat customer that has a standing appointment every 2 weeks for an eyelash refill. I have NEVER booked an appointment online. I check my accounts daily and see that I was charged $70 for an appointment that I did not attend. I called the establishment at least 5 times to try to have the situation rectified. I explained the medical emergency with my mother (beyond my control). I was informed by the "manager" that because I called within 24 hours of the appointment, that they would not refund my money. She also stated that the policy is online. I've NEVER gone online to book an appointment. Please be more transparent in your policies if you want to keep customers. I am a registered nurse who has worked on Covid units, my time and money is valuable to me. For them to treat a repeat customer with such disregard is disgusting. read more

I have been doing the last extensions for about 6 to 8 months now. I love the look it provides. The staff is very accommodating as well. It takes about 45 minutes for The finished look but well worth it! The new store front is open and inviting. It is definitely an upgrade and feels more modern. What a wonderful find! I am without a doubt addicted. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the services I have received. I have seen Jenna, Lisa, and Carina for my eye lash extensions, all of whom I would highly recommend, they are extremely gifted in there craft. As of most recently I have been a regular of Carina's, she is an absolute doll! I have appreciated developing a routine with her, as she has now done my lashes 3 times. She has been very informative of the different looks that can be attained with using different lengths and curvature of the lash to achieve my desired look. I also most recently tried what I believe is called there "dry pedicure" but do not let that description fool you! It was amazing! Truth be known I preferred it to the pedicures with massaging chairs and wet basins. Claudia did this pedicure for me while I was having my lashes done. It felt very indulgent but I enjoyed every minute of it. It begins with your feet being placed in these "footie" bags with a softening agent I imagine and then thermal foot booties on top of that, amazing! It is an all encompassing treatment, from clipping the nails, addressing the cuticles, filing, buffing, exfoliating, massaging, steam towels, painting. Claudia did an absolutely wonderful service, she is very thorough and detail oriented. She too was just a sweetheart to boot. Carina and Claudia are my go to girls! I've never written a yelp review before but I am still disappointed by the service I received here about a month ago. I spent $200 on eye lash extensions as a trial for my wedding, planning on having them last a full 10 days through my honeymoon. When I arrived I had some questions about the day to day maintenance and the technician just smiled and barely answered them. Within 48 hours of application, even though I kept them dry for 24 hours, the lashes were flipping and kinked. I returned for repair (free of charge) and they looked great again. They became flipped kinked and tangled again within the next 2 days so I returned for a second time within 1 week of initial application. I asked for them to be removed as they were interfering with my job (getting in my eyes and sticking to bottom lashes), and the owner Jenna refused to remove them because it would take too much time from her employees and cost too much money (I would have paid for removal). She told me to stop caking my eye makeup on (I hadn't worn any eye makeup after having the lashes applied). I understand that I signed a release stating I would not get a refund for any reason, but removing the lashes is the least they could have offered. The 2 stars that I do give this establishment is for the service of one of the technicians who did the repair, so sweet and didn't charge me, and for the look of the lashes the day of application. Otherwise, not happy at all with the service from Jenna or with the product overall. read more

I'm a beginner with lash extensions and didn't really know what to ask for and how it all worked my first time. I did level 2 lashes and they looked okay, but not how I thought they would. I didn't realize it until I got home that I was expecting more. I called back and spoke with the girl who did my lashes the first time and she explained some of the differences I never bothered to ask about before. She kindly set me up an appointment with Jenna, a master artist, and within a week and by finally talking about what I had in mind and what was best for me, my lashes are all I ever dreamed of! I love them and they're perfect for all of the summer weddings coming up. Just a tip: make sure to ask questions to fully understand the right lash type for you. It does take a while so make sure you're prepared to lay still for well over an hour. Also, caring for them is a big adjustment at first, so make sure to ask lots of questions and they will happily answer you. read more

Fantastic studio. I have been getting my lashes done for 3 years and recently moved back to Greensboro. I tried another salon and was extremely disappointed, I let my lashes fall out and debating on getting another set done while in Greensboro. I came across EyeDalon and read their Web page thoroughly and their reviews. Jenna seemed very knowledgeable about eyelashes and extensions. I decided to book an appointment. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease and very comfortable. They are very customer based, they strive very hard to make your experience amazing. I had a pedicure done while getting my lashes done. My lashes came out awesome, they look natural and full. I have wicked light lashes, so getting extensions helps me not have to wear mascara.
