If I had known what I know now, I would have chosen to go somewhere else! I feel that I need to…read moreshare my experience so others don't make the same mistake. When I chose Eye Candy to do my microblading I was confident in my decision because I was told that Crystal is a trainer and teaches others to do microblading. I've learned that being a trainer does not necessarily mean that a person is good at their craft. Let me tell you my experience. I had my microblading done in December. The process was somewhat uncomfortable, but bearable. During the microblading session I was confused by the long strokes that I could feel being made to my right brow, but I figured that Crystal must know what she was doing since she trains others to do this. When she was finished I noticed how dark my brows were, but was reassured that they would lighten up when they healed. The shape was quite rounded, which didn't look as natural as I expected. It wasn't until I got home and took a closer look that I noticed that one brow was longer than the other and thicker. They didn't match at all. And those long strokes I was feeling during the process were way too long to even remotely look like hair strokes. As a microblading technician there is no way that she didn't notice how badly my brows looked when I left her salon. I messaged Crystal and told her we needed to discuss how unhappy I was before the perfecting session. I wasn't able to see her until the perfecting session, so before she did anything, I showed her my brows were still too dark, not symmetrical and not the right shape. I was told that I had some bleeding during my first session and that was why the strokes in my brow weren't crisp. She never mentioned that before. She told me that she could lighten the color and put more strokes in the front to make them less rounded and a stroke at the end of the shorter brow to make both brows the same length. I went ahead and did the perfecting session and was happier with my brows when I left. As the healing process progressed, I noticed that the strokes that Crystal had added to the front of both brows had faded and my brows were now a very odd shape. I messaged Crystal again letting her know that I would need to come back to have that redone. At that point I was told that she wouldn't be able to see me for a month and that when I came in she wouldn't have time to numb me. She didn't think that would be an issue. I remember how uncomfortable the process was and wasn't at all happy with the lack of concern I was being shown. After thinking about it I decided to consult with someone else. When the gal looked at my brows during the consultation the first words out of her mouth were, "Oh, wow!" That's not what anyone wants to hear! I was told that my brows were the wrong color, not the right shape and that the right brow actually made my eye look droopy. I was told there was nothing she could do to fix it. She told me my only option was to have the microblading removed and start over. Having it removed was going to be a long process and expensive. After returning home, I messaged Crystal to let her know that I wasn't coming back and that I wanted to give her the opportunity to make this right by refunding the $450.00 I paid her. All of my other messages were responded to promptly, however it's been a week and a half and there has been no response from Crystal. I have to come back to the fact that she had to have known my brows were not done right when I left after my initial appointment. I recommend that if you are considering microblading, choose somewhere else.

I have been going to Crystal for eyelash extensions for 2 years now. (She also does bold volume lashes too if that's what you are looking for) She has micro bladed my eye brows twice and listens to your feed back, they turned out natural looking. (The second time was a free retouch) She continues to go to training/train others and expand her knowledge in this industry, I admire that so much. Her place is darling, clean, and comfortable and most of all; even though she is extremely booked; she has been flexible with my constant changing work schedule and has worked to fit me in.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with my massage at Pure Skin. I booked what I…read morethought would be a relaxation massage with medium pressure, but the therapist specialized in fascia massage, which was not communicated to me beforehand. The session involved a lot of very light pressure and holding pressure points, which was not the type of massage I was looking for. I was hoping for a traditional relaxation massage and felt disappointed that this was not clarified before the appointment. I also let the therapist know that I do not like having my calves or stomach massaged. When I expressed this, she pushed back and explained that she needed to work on those areas and that I could decide after the session if I liked it. Even after I repeated that I did not like those areas being worked on, she continued to return to them. She also offered to incorporate CBD lotion, which she said might help. I agreed, but later found out it added an additional $25 charge that was never mentioned beforehand. After the session she also suggested that energy work might be good for me in the future. I explained that energy work has never been helpful for me, but she responded that I had simply never experienced her energy work -- similar to how she insisted I would benefit from the calf and stomach work. Overall, I felt like my preferences and boundaries were not really listened to. I simply wanted a straightforward relaxation massage with medium pressure. Because of this experience, I would not return.

My Erin, my injectionist is quite the professional. Being new to the Pacific Northwest it took me…read morequite a while to finally find an injectionist that wouldn't give cause eye ptosis, or some other subpar result. Erin is open to collaborative feedback so that we can get my look just right, and is great about giving you less to start with, saving you money AND a more natural look. She's not just pushing product into your face. I really appreciate her. I also love Zoe my facialist who went to the local Evergreen College for beauty school. I do my dermaplaning and my facial (both) with her and it is so professional and highly skilled and uses the most top notch products (Eminence) the ones I used to get in Scottsdale. I didn't even have this great of treatments when I lived in Seattle. Very impressed, and looking forward to trying their masseuse Heather and the other masseuses as well. Appointments already on the book!
