Alright, I really hate to be writing this review because I've been coming here for a long time now…read more(2 years) but it's been going downhill. I absolutely love their Carmel Mountain location, but I hate their Point Loma location. I've never had issues at Carmel Mountain, but I constantly have issues in Point Loma. I've repeatedly had issues with their website, allowing you to book on days that they are not open and their website hours on Google saying they're open even when they're not. I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. Overall, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the poor experiences in PL.

I knew that it would be a lot of upkeep, but I did not know it would be ADDICTING. My eyeballs just feel so NAKED without my eyelash extensions done by Cheryl. I naturally I have very thin/fine hair, so my eyelashes are obsolete. I usually have to wear eye liner/makeup to enhance my eyes, but NOT ANYMORE! Cheryl was taking private clients only, but she has now opened up a new lash room in Poway. She shares a cute office with another gal, and has a huge, private, comfortable room for you to lay in during your lash session. She is very meticulous with her work, and she will take the time to make sure your lashes look beautiful. She has been trained by a Celebrity Lash Extension-er (if that's the term), using a different and more effective technique for the extensions. She has always been able to squeeze me in despite her busy schedule. My lashes ALWAYS look so beautiful and natural when I leave her place. She uses a great glue that stays at least 2-3 weeks, that you CAN get wet (disclosure: I'm not saying go diving, surfing, or scrub your face off in the shower. But, my lashes have graciously stayed on after 2 weeks, with 1 week in pools/oceans of Riviera Maya, MX). She keeps me entertained during my lash sessions with stimulating conversations, but also lets me take naps when I've had a long day. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Her prices are BEYOND affordable.
