I have been going to LashBar for 3 years now and I cannot let anyone else touch my lashes. Sicorra has been the best lash stylist and I feel so confident and pretty after my lash session with her. I get the wet wispy, D curl, cat eye look and it lasts me well over my two week. The ambiance of Lashbar is so pretty, relaxing, and calming with its purple and white colors ( my favorite). I've been getting my lashes done for gosh over 7 years??!! I started coming to Lashbar utc a few months ago. I'm on my 3rd visit with Sicorra and I just LOVE her! She gets it just how I like it every time! I love a natural look and she always nails it. The location is very convenient as it's in a shopping center. I usually grab groceries at Whole Foods next door or lunch at the many eateries after my appt! Parking is a breeze. They are located right above BOFA. Just take the stairs up. Inside is so clean and modern. I'm usually just the only one there even though there is room for more. They have been amazing following all covid procedures. I feel very safe going. It's very relaxing and often times I'll fall asleep under Sicorras care :) Best part-- my fill only takes 30min!!!! Wow! U won't find that anywhere else! read more

So first thing when you call there to book an appointment, they will ask you what level of experience lash artist would you like? So you pay according to how good they are I guess it's ridiculous. Never heard of anything like that. I picked the middle person. All my lashes fell out within two days. put me in with another artist. All my lashes fell out within three days third time around, went in to see one of the best artist. All of the lashes now are falling out as we speak and they're rough and hard and prickly absolutely the worst experience I've ever had, I paid over $300 and wasted my time. This place is a complete and utter joke. I've been getting eyelashes for five years and I've never had this happen. Stay clear. read more

The booking process is really convenient, the location is very easy to find, theres plenty parking and the facility is super cute. I like that the stylist are really cautious and check your temperature upon entry. They are super sanitary here so it makes me feel comfortable. My stylist was really thorough with the consultation and really listened to what I wanted. She walked me through the process and was very gentle with her application. I like that my lashes are full and natural instead of looking like what I would call "caterpillar" lashes. I got so many compliments from my coworkers and friends on how natural looking my lashes are. I like to hear that! After my service the stylist educated me about caring for my lashes and she even showed me how to brush and clean them. I ended up purchasing the aftercare kit that came with a spoolie. She pays incredible attention to detail, and ALWAYS takes her time with her work and it really shows. I'm really picky when it comes to lashes and it's really hard for me to find someone that I want to keep working with, however, Sicorra always did an amazing job achieving the style of lashes that I wanted. The best part about her work is that every set from her had phenomenal retention. My lashes would stay in for at least 3 to 4 weeks, and look amazing throughout the full-time. What an awesome experience! Kelsea was nice and very efficient; I had a lash fill plus and I believe it only took 45 minutes! They also use a bonder so that you can get your lashes wet vs other places I have been to when you have to wait 24 hours. So far so good -- I made my follow-up appointments and will be back. I'm not sure if it was because I have sensitive eyes or not, but i was incredibly uncomfortable for the whole process and it took almost a full day for my eye to not bother me. I'm a little bummed because I do love them and would like to get them again, but can't go through that experience. I was having car trouble and I called ahead to the saloon to let them know. I was one minute over their 15 min grace period and the stylist Kelsey refused to take me. I have never had such awful costumer service she wouldn't even talk to me or acknowledge me there. Luckily, the attendant in the front offered me amazing customer service and was able to help me get a different appointment at another location. UPDATE: I wanted to post a follow up as I did receive excellent customer service from both the Kearny Mesa location as well as managements follow up to my original complaint. The extensions are amazing and management really does go the extra mile to turn a negative experience positive and they do an excellent job once you get in the chair. read more

I will say that this place has the friendliest staff, super accommodating for appointment times, and is super clean. The environment is great. I felt taken care of the whole time. Problem is, I paid $85 (after tip) for a fill. This is my first time here since my regular lash lady of 5 years is out of town and I needed my lashes done for an event (pageant) this weekend. I don't need insane amount of lashes by any means, but just to look somewhat full. I ended up leaving with less lashes than when I started. My tech told me that the classic is 1 fake lash per real lash. When I looked in the mirror before leaving, they looked okay. But the day after most of them were gone. Looking now, I have about 20-30 real lashes per eye with no extension on them. I have had lash extensions on for 5 years so I know how to take care of them: don't get wet for 48 hours, don't sleep on your face, no mascara on them, use the lash wash, no oils, etc. I also do not wear make up so it's not like I was irritating the lashes. I usually can get about 3 weeks in between fills and this time I got less than 24 hours out of them. I had a set done 2 weeks prior and just wanted them a little more full. I now have to put on strip lashes to supplement these for my event this weekend and I feel like I wasted $80 and 2 hours of my time. My tech was so sweet and gentle. I was very happy with that. The place was clean and relaxing. I just wish I had more lashes or not paid so much for them. read more
